Gabe watched as she glared at him. He was the kind to be very patient, even though he hardly looked the type to be patient. But he was. That's just how Gabriel was around his guarded clients. He blinked when she stopped walking and pouted and saying in a shrill voice. He just looked impassively on. "Well, good thing we're almost at hte motel, hmm?" He asked with a smirk on his face. He knew that she would have to drop her childish act soon. Her father told him in confidence that she only did the childish act when she wanted to get something out of it, or to get someone to leave her alone. Gabe also got her scores from Hogwarts when she went there. Apparently she was at the top of her year, so why the childish bit?
He heard her being tired. And he heard that she was about to cry. He took her wrist into his hand and pulled her into an alleyway. "You must'nt bring attention to yourself. Especially around here. I told you that once we're in the motel room, I will tell you everything. But you have to listen to me or else you will get caught and then I can't protect you." Gabe said seriously, biting back his harsh whisper. He leaned over her as Robin leaned against the hard brick alley wall. He moved in closer to her. "Now, please change your hair color and eye color, and hair length. We need to go under disguise. And we're under the name Michaels. And we're supposed to be a loving couple."
Gabe explained. "I know you're smart enough to go along with this plan. We need to be under multiple disguises as we pass through each border. You know that." He said softly, his hand letting go of her wrist so that she could get ahold of her wand. "Also, I'm not letting you go home. Do you want to be killed?" Gabe asked, looking down at her. She was much tinier than his tall and althetic frame.
He sighed softly, seeing the tears glistening in her eyes. "I'm changing my appearance as well. So we'll be in this together." He offered her a smile. "I will protect you with my life. You will get to Greece in one piece if you listen to me." Gabe said with a nod. Gabe has protected many people, even a famous wizarding designer by the name of Alexander Hamilton, who had designed the miniture suitcase that was in Robin's pocket. He took out his wand, and muttered a few incantations, his black hair turning lighter brown, as his eyes changed to the color green. He smiled down at her. "Ready?" He asked softly.
(Haha. I will let you know, don't worry. My Alex, is evil though. He isn't capable of love...but my Hatter is amusing. xD)

When Gabe pulled her into the alley she gasped lightly. She wasn't expecting him to be so bold with her. She listened to him talking in silence. Without a word she listened to him tell her that he would protect her with his life, that if she went back she'd get killed. She didn't have a death wish but she certainly wasn't happy with being dragged around like she was being. She took a deep breath and tried not to huff at him right away. She shook her head and pulled out her wand. Slowly she shifter her hair from blond to brown and made it fall down her back to the mid of it and she looked back at Gabe.
"All better?" she said with her eyes narrowed. She often changed her hair and was certain this would not make her any less recognizable. She rolled her eyes and glared at him for a moment. "As for the happy couple thing," she said with a slightly more firm tone, "I don't know how to do that" she said as she crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him again. She was being honest. She'd flirted with many men, she had dated a few but she had never been in love. She had no love for anyone. Even her parent's only held a minor fraction of her affection. They didn't care much for her so she didn't care for them much either. She didn't love. Robin Branbridge lusted, she acted but she never loved.
Robin pushed herself from the wall and took a step closer to Gabe. She couldn't get her way by being whiney so she would try to scare him away. "I don't do happy couple but I can do something a bit more raunchy darling" she said gently as she brought her hands up and pulled on the edges of his leather jacket. She was making herself uneasy. She didn't like being the bold one in situations, she held back the urge to shudder and looked up into his eyes with a fierce lust in her eyes. It was all an act ... well mostly . She was just testing ways to push him away. Scare tactics could work, make him too uncomfortable to work with her.
She raised herself onto her toes and put her face very close to his. "Don't you want me baby," she said slowly as she did her best to keep her tone even, "there's no one around here" she looked around the alley mainly so she could look away from him. Her stomach was churning and she was doing her best to keep from being sick. She didn't know why she was so nervous. She'd done this same act with less attractive men then Gabe. It was the situation she finally decided, it was all very dramatic. She looked back at Gabe and licked her lips suggestively. "So?" she said gently as she continued to hold onto his jacket.

He knew that she was surprised with his boldness. Then again, Gabe was a bit unconventional with his methods. Sure, they may be immoral, illegal, to name a few, but his methods did work a lot. Plus, working with Willian Vanhelm taught him how to protect himself without a wand and with. He knew martial arts, most of them, as well as hand-to-hand combat via Sherlock Holmes-style called Bartitsu. He was pretty good with that, plus wth VanHelm teaching him all of hte vital marks on a person, Gabe was pretty unstoppable. Even when he got shot, five times, at different times in his life, he was still a true fighter. Nothing will take him down.
He watched as she shifted her hair from white-blonde and short to brown to the middle of her back. He smirked. "Lovely. Also, make yourself have dark brown eyes as well. If you're going for that look, go it all the way." He said with a smirk as he watched her baby blue (?) eyes with his charmed green. He watched as she said in a firm tone that she didn't know how to be a "happy couple".
Gabe raised an eyebrow. "You are an actress, are you not? Haven't you watched any romantic comedy movies in your life?" He asked, watching her slightly with narrowed eyes. She must have. "Or read any romance novels?" He also suggested, not sure if she did watch movies or read books. Better cover more ground by asking both. "Just flirt with me, laugh softly at the things I say, put your head on my shoulder, loop your arm through mine, smile." He emphasized the last one with a smirk.
Gabe took a step back to give her some room. He watched as she moved closer to her. Ah. The bold trick. Yes. He has encountered his clients doing this before, when he was a younger bodyguard. It was a way for them to try to push him away, as if saying that they can handle this on their own. And would try to break the professional relationship that they're supposed to have. Under no circumstances was he to fall in love with his clients. Never. It was one of Vanhelm's top rules. Kissing/hugging/making out/making love, however, if it was part of a plan, then he could do so. Just not fall in love.
He raised an eyebrow as she put her hands on his leather jacket. He watched, unmoving, quiet even. He was pretty steady. He knew that this was all a trick. An act. And Gabe must say, that she acted quite well like this. "Really." He said, his voice not really inflicting any emotion. He watched as she moved her face close to him.
"I'm not at liberty to say, youngin'. Also, very nice act. I would rather have you do this when we're at the motel." He said with a smirk, as he put his hands on her waist, and moved her away from him about half a foot. Gabe straightened his jacket before looking over at her. "Shall we?" He asked, holding out his right elbow to her with a smirk on his face. "Missus Michaels." He added with a smirk before leaving the alleyway, with Robin on his arm.

Robin nearly snarled when he acted so unfazed by her come ons. She wasn't the best looked in the world, she knew her many flaws, but she was not bad none the less. The tactic, however, had given her a distinct sense of joy. He may not have reacted the way she had wanted but something in his eyes made her want to pre sue that particular route of pushing. She flipped her hair as she linked arms with him and huffed lightly. She looked up at him and clenched her teeth. HOW could she get him to leave. He would, she was certain.
There was no way he was making it to Greece with her. She'd have him gone before the night was over, if that meant fu--ing him or otherwise she had no issue about it. She'd used her sexuality to get her way with many men and she'd find a way into either annoying him to leave or making him to uncomfortable to stay. If she woke up in the morning after letting him have her and he was not in the bed that would make her happy. The last time it hadn't but it would this time. She WOULD have control. Slowly she leaned into him a bit and made a note sway her hips.
Finally the motel came into view and she sighed. The time to act was upon her and she could not take any prisoners. She bit her tongue as they entered and got checked in. When they finally got to the room and her suitcase was enlarged she threw it onto the bed, only one bed in the room she noted, and a rather uncomfortable looking couch. He'd be used to sleeping on the couch she was sure. She opened the case and riffled through her belongings. "Aha" she said lightly as she pulled out her most revealing pajamas. Generally she wore a long nightgown but a cute little black lace thing would work better for her intentions. She held it up in front of her and turned to Gabe. "How do you think this will look?" she asked with a smirk as she eyed him.
She didn't want him, she kept reminding herself. He was just another worthless man. She wanted to be free of him and this was her best bet. He'd be gone by morning ... or she would. Either way she'd be free of this whole messy situation. She just wanted to go home and to read one of her favorite novels. She bit the inside of her cheek to keep the slight look of pain from her face as she smiled at him lightly. The smile hurt her face. She rarely ever smiled and this one was being held up for too long. She dropped it and replaced it with a look of smooth seduction. She licked her lips again and turned away from him, bending over to take her shoes off and making a note of jutting out her rear in his direction. It was a cheap trick but if it worked it worked.
Slowly she spoke again in a low sultry tone. "I wouldn't blame you," she said gently as she threw her shoes across the room and straightened to look at him, "if you want to walk away" she said with her eyes sparkling as she walked over to him and put her hands on his chest. She fluttered her eyes up at him and smirked lightly as she shook her hair back to the blond it had been before. She bit her bottom lip and let out a soft breath.
(sorry it took so long, had to grab a bite to eat before I passed out XD )

He knew that she wasn't happy that he didn't give into her lust. Of course, unlike most men out there, Gabe had class. And tact. And respect. He wasn't going to take a girl. Of course not. He was a gentlemen, kind of contradictory to how his methods work in disguising and such. But oh well. He chuckled as she linked arms with him and they made their way over to the motel.
The clerk, took no notice of their attire or looks, or just was positively bored. He checked them in and they went up to the room, pretending to be a "happy couple" towards the outside world. Gabe sighed as they went in, and he saw the one bed. Didn't matter to him. He can sleep anywhere. So, the couch was fine.
He knew that she was trying to make up some plan for him to leave before getting to Greece. Gabe will shackle her wrist to his in a handcuff if she disrespected him. He will have his control. He is the one who was given the guardianship rights from her father to be her guardian, and protector for the remainder of the trip. Only eleven more days. Gabe sighed softly as they arrived at their room.
Gabe looked at his watch, noting the time. It was already nine o'clock. And yet, still a bit light out. But that's what happens when it's the summer. He sighed as he pulled out his miniture bag, and watched as it expanded and grew in size. He opened it up and took out a pair of pants. He walked over to the nightstand and saw that thankfully, it had room service. The motel wasn't that bad of a motel after all. He blinked hearing her say "Aha." He sat on the bed, and looked at the menu. "Sure. Fine." Gabe said distractedly, as he scanned the menu for items to eat. Cheap items. "What do you want to eat?" he asked.
He heard her take off her shoes. He slipped his off distractedly, before slipping his leather jacket off and throwing it to the couch, as well as his t-shirt, leaving him shirtless in his jeans, showing off his tattoos as well as gunshot scars. He hummed softly to himself as he noticed that they made a Turkey Club Sandwhich with fries as a lunch or dinner option. Good.
He got up to bring his sneakers over to the couch. He turned around as she walked over to him. He watched her in the revealing nightie. Sure. It was a nice sight. But this is wrong. So very wrong. And Gabe had enough self-confidence that he didn't need to bed this woman. His hair and eyes changed back long ago right as soon as he stepped into the hotel room. "Well, then don't be mad that I'm not giving into your act." Gabe said with a smirk, his arms crossing infront of his exposed chest as he looked down at her. On his left abdomen, one could see two distinct raised circles, scars from a two gunshots. He also had one on his left forearm, also raised slightly and a bit darker in color in contrast to his skin. He had one over his tribal tattoo on his right shoulder, and one on his right bottom cheek.
Yes. The marks of a man. Of a skilled bodyguard.
"What do you want to eat? I'm ordering room service." He said before walking away from her to the bed, to grab the menu. He came back and handed her the menu.

Robin wanted to shriek. She wanted to cry to the heavens how terribly angry and frustrated she was. She gritted her teeth and walked away from the menu he held out. She already felt as though she could throw up and she really couldn't even look at food at that moment. She grabbed a robe from her suitcase and quickly threw it onto her. It was a thick red thing, ugly and old but comforting none the less. She took a deep breath to clear her mind. She didn't want to think about Gabe, she didn't want to think about how he was making her stomach churn. "You make me ill" she said suddenly in a cool tone without looking at him.
She walked around and sat on the couch, pulling out her wand and quietly casting an accio spell on her sleeping pills so that she would not have to walk passed him again. She never slept soundly, she hadn't since she was ten. She shook the bottle and looked at the little chalky white pills in her hand. She gritted her teeth again and replaced them in the bottle. She didn't want to sleep, she didn't want to blank out that night. She pulled her robe tighter and looked up at Gabe. "What is it huh? Am I not pretty enough for your high bloody standards?" she shot out before she could stop herself.
Robin shook her head and rolled her eyes. She hadn't meant to say that. She wasn't generally an insecure girl but the spinning in her head and the rapidly increasing dizziness of her stomach was making her irrational. "I just want..." she cut herself off and her eyes widened. She was literally going to throw up. She ran to the bathroom and leaned over the toilet. She felt horrible, she felt weak and most of all she felt ugly and wrong. It was terrible. Slowly she leaned back and lay her head against the cold porcelain of the tub behind her. She didn't have the energy to crawl over to the door and shut it behind her so all she could do was pray that Gabe didn't enter as tears streamed down her face.
She'd just thrown up in a motel bathroom. Robin BranBridge, the infamous party girl who never cried, never backed down, had just hurled all over this stupid little motel room. Something felt wrong. Her head was still spinning and her heart was racing like nothing she had felt before. She'd had flu not long ago and she knew what it was like ... no something was terribly wrong. Robin moaned lightly and shut her eyes. The world went black in an instant.

Gabe looked over at her. "Glad to know that." Gabe added before picking up the phone to call room service. "Hi. I'll have a turkey Club, Ginger ale, and french fries please. Room five oh eight. Thanks" Gabe hung up the phone to see her at the couch with a red robe on.
He watched as she sat on the couch. And then taking out a few pills before shooting a snide question towards his way. He blinked confused. "I try not to mix business with pleasure, Robin." Gabe explained with a polite smile-mix of a smirk towards her way. "Plus, I don't have standards. If I did, you would be out of my league. Because you have higher standards than me." He said with chuckle. He looked over at her as she then ran to the bathroom. His eyes widened as he heard the sound of rhetching from the bathroom.
He got up hurriedly and made his way to the bathroom. "Robin, are you okay?" He asked, before seeing her leaning against the tub, tears rolling down her face. "Hey, whats wrong?" He asked softly, as he bent down in the doorway of the bathroom.
He blinked as she looked over at him, and then fainted. "Shit." He cursed as he walked in more, and picked her up and brought her to the bed in the hotel room. He laid her down gently before grabbing a towel and running water, and dipped the towel into the water. He grabbed a small bucket underneath the sink and poured water into it, and brought it back out to her at the bed.
He looked at her. Throwing up, looking dizzy, then blacking out.
Gabe's eyes widened. She was poisioned.
Gabe ran to his suitcase that was next to the couch, and grabbed a small bottle. He twisted it open before getting over to Robin. He opened her mouth gently, and stuck the bezoar inside her mouth, and got her to chew it and swallow it with his help of moving her mouth. That should get the posion out. The hairball-like "stone" would suck up the posion that is in her stomach since it was an ingested posion and then as she goes to the bathroom later on in the day, or throws up again, the posion would be gone. Thank god for William Vanhelm and his rules.

Robin's eyes flickered open to complete darkness. She was laying in the motel bed with the covers around her and the sick feeling in her stomach gone. Well, she supposed, at least Gabe was useful for something. She blinked a few more times, her eyes adjusting ever so slightly to the darkness but still she could not see past about a foot in front of her. She hated the darkness, she never knew who might be lurking in the corners of the room. She shuddered at the thought. She'd been kidnapped once when she was young ... it had been dark and she'd been asleep. She shivered again and sat up slowly. She could hear Gabe's gentle breathing and figured he was asleep.
Slowly Robin moved her feet and touched them to the cold floor. She kept herself from making a noise at the sudden freezing on her feet and she got up. Slowly and very quietly Robin grabbed some clothes out of her bag and changed. She wore a rather short black dress and a black trench-coat along with some rather glittery sneakers. As slowly as possible she walked over to the door with nothing more than a wad of cash in her pocket. She was tired of being around this man. He had seen her at her worst, she had been crying and she certainly could not stick around any longer. She'd run if he'd not. She opened the door with a slight creak and slipped out.
As the door closed behind her and Robin's eyes adjusted to the light she let out a slight sigh. Something in her was screaming at her to stay around, let Gabe protect her, but her pride simply would not let her. She took a few steps down the hall and then stopped. She threw her hand up to her neck and felt that her necklace was no longer on . She hissed. She had worn that necklace since before she could remember. She crept back to the room and looked at the door. She could have run but she needed that necklace.
Slowly she crept back into the room and blindly made her way to the nightstand. She groped around for the little piece of jewelry but found nothing. Again she let out a light hiss and she went to the bed, running her hands around it. Finally her fingers clasped around the little bit of gold and she sighed. She took the thing in her hand and swiftly made her way back towards the door. She was very surprised that Gabe hadn't caught her, he must have been very tired. She looked back at the couch where he was sleeping and sighed. "Bye bye Gabe" she whispered nearly silently as she put her hand on the doorknob and turned it.
As soon as she was out of the room a large man stood in front of her. "Hullo Robin" he said in a low tone. It wasn't the man searching for her, which was a relief, but it was someone nearly as frightening. She bit her bottom lip and took a deep breath.
"Hello Dannie ... how have you been, brother?" she asked softly.
"Looking for you ... I've been hired by some big bad you see" he said with menace in his eyes.

Gabe was so tired. He was looking after her until about three in the morning. He ate one half of the sandwhich, and left the other for her, as well as teh ginger ale. And as soon as he hit the couch, he was out. He was a light sleeper. He sighed softly in his sleep as he heard her get up to go to the bathroom.
Apparently not. He sighed softly back into his sleep, reassuring himself that she will get back to him. Though, Gabe totally forgot to charm the door into locking until he unlocked it himself. Oh well. He sighed in his sleep, turning over, before hearing hte door opening again and her saying "Goodbye Gabe." Maybe he was dreaming it. There could be no way that she would leave.
But then again, she was trying her hardest to get away from him. If Gabe only knew about the dangers that was lurking right outside his motel room. He peeked one eye open to see the room empty. "SHIT." He whispered, getting up and grabbing his wand, and heading out to the door. He heard a voice. A man's voice that knew her. This wasn't good at all. Robin's father promised that the hotel's location would be a secret. Shit. Shit. Shit. Gabe got out to see the man lurking towards her.
Shit. That was her brother Dannie. He knew about him. "Stupefy!" He shouted, his wand at the man. Dannie promptly fell over, stunned. "Petrificus Totalus." Gabe added, making sure that Dannie wouldn't leave. Thank goodness that only right now they would try to use one guy to get Robin.
ROBIN.
Gabe glared down at her.
"How dare you leave after I treated you. Did you know that you were poisioned? Did you know that if you went outside without your disguise on that you would get kidnapped, again?" He snapped, of course, mad, but mostly worried over her safety. "You could have been killed." He added. "Now get in here, we have to move. Now." And with that, Gabe grabbed her wrist and brought her back in. "Pack, we're leaving tonight." Gabe changed his diguise again, to curly hair, and a mustache on his face. He closed his suitcase and shrunk it, before putting it into his jean pocket. He watched to see what Robin was doing.

When her brother hit the ground she turned back to see Gabe and she was stuck between being angry or being grateful. That was Dannie he had hit with the spell ... that was HER Dannie. The only man who ever loved her. Despite her brother being sent out when Robin was only six he had kept contact with her, despite his ... life choices. If her father had known Dannie would have been caught and she had always loved her brother. She and him owled every week. Robin knew he had been about to kidnap her ... knew she would have been killed by the only man she loved. Again tears welled up in her eyes. Dannie wouldn't have ... but she knew her brother better then that, he would have killed her if he'd had to.
When Gabe pulled her back into the room forcefully and commanded her like he did Robin just stared at him. "That was Dannie" she said slowly, "my Dannie" she continued as she lifted her chin to keep the tears back. "He wasn't much but he was all I had" she said as she looked at the door with tears now falling for the second time that night, "and even HE wanted to kill me" she was sobbing as she turned away from Gabe and grabbed her suitcase. She threw the whole thing across the room, the clothes flew in every direction and the case hit the wall with a resounding bang.
"WHAT is the POINT?" she shouted. "Daddy only wants me around so I can continue our line ... Dannie is going to kill me so what does it matter" she said in a soft whisper. She had meant to yell it. To shriek at Gabe but she could only manage a whisper.
She'd never felt so desperate before. She had always bee fine on her own, she'd been happy. But now, she was tired ... she'd been poisoned and she had no one in the world to care for her. She shook her head and tried to reason with herself. She was rich, beautiful ... she had nothing to be ashamed of. She may have had no one to love her but she didn't need it. That didn't help her.
She hated being like this. She wasn't weak. She wasn't a crier. She was strong miss Robin Branbridge. Slowly she tried to collect herself. Did she really want to die? No. Slowly she took a few deep breaths and pulled out her wand and waved it. Her trunk and clothes fixed themselves and she looked at Gabe for instructions. She didn't want to leave but she didn't want to be there when her brother woke up either.

Gabe knew that she would have a reaction like that. He muttered "muffliato" underneath his breath at the door so that no one could hear her shrieking in their hotel room. He looked at her. He knew that it was dangerous for her to be contacting her brother after he was in a life of crime. And was one of Damien Water's cronies to get to her, after Mister Branbridge got Damien into Azkaban for a few years, but Damien (with his money) got out of Azkaban on parole, but wanted revenge.
He nodded. "I know." He said, watching her. He knew how she felt. Hopeless, defeated, like no one wanted her. Gabe wanted her. Surely, not for love. But she didn't see that her parents did love her. If they didn't, they wouldn't have gotten the best bodyguard to protect her. Mr. Branbridge wasn't big on affection, but Gabe could see that despite him wanting an heir, he still loved his babygirl. After all, she was his daughter, even if she didn't want to be his heir. He didn't flinch when the suitcase hit the wall, and her clothes flew everywhere.
"Between you and me, your father loves you. If he didn't, he wouldn't have hired me. It wasn't to continue the line, he wouldn't care if you didn't want to follow in his footsteps. He loves you, that's why you're in hiding and not out getting killed out there." Gabe said calmly, but a bit louder than usual. Gabe didn't like to shout.
"But please. I will keep you safe. You just have to trust me." He said, walking over to her. He knew that she was independant, brash, arrogant, immature, childish, proud. He knew that. He wanted to show her that she can look towards someone for help. Even if it was a bodyguard who was there because he was hired. He watched as she fixed her trunk. He then waved his wand over her trunk and shrunk it again. "We're getting to the Kings Cross to go to France. They shouldn't be following us there." Gabe walked over to her, and wrapped his arms around her. "Prepare for appariting." He said, before they disappeared with a "pop". And soon, two blocks away, they were outside on a corner, and Gabe was hailing a cab. The cab slowed down and they hopped in. "King's Cross Station please. Step on it." Gabe ordered, as the taxi driver nodded and they sped away towards the train station. Gabe sighed as he slouched in the taxi, and kept his arm around her. "You can cry, you know." Gabe said softly towards Robin.

Robin listened to Gabe as he told her her father loved her. She found that hard to believe. Her father had never once told her that he loved her. No one ever had ... it didn't matter to her, it never had. She collected herself as Gabe put his arm around her and described where they were going. She shut her eyes as they apparated and then got into a cab. He looked at her and said she could cry. She bit her lip and shook her head. "I don't own anything you know" she said gently as she felt a single tear fall down her face, "it all belongs to daddy". She shook her head as she tried to rid herself of tears.
"Even you ... your not here for me your here for him" she said as she looked at her feet. She hated the way she was acting. She was supposed to be strong. She shook her head again and looked at him. She could feel the tears burning down her face but she ignored them. "Thank you ... for not running" she said gently then laughed, "not that I am going to stop trying to make you leave" she sighed and fidgeted in her seat. She wanted her brother ... she wanted one of her nannies ... she would have settled for one of her one night stands, she wanted a hug.
Slowly Robin turned to Gabe again. "I'm going to hug you" she said gently. She wasn't exactly giving him an option in the matter. "You don't have to hug me but I am going to hug you" she said again as she put her arms around him and held on tight. She was scared and hopeless without anyone in the world but the man beside her. No one could blame her for feeling ever so slightly attracted. She again had to shoo the thought away quickly as she held tight to him and began to cry.
Her tears were hot and uneasy. She looked terrible and felt worse. "S-sorry ... I must look like such a child" she said into his chest. "I honestly ... I am ... I don't" she didn't know what she was trying to say. That she was really rather strong? She knew Taekwondo. She was intelligent. She had several degrees. She couldn't say any of it for fear of sounding too over confident. She slowly let go of him but stayed close. She looked up into his eyes with her own bright blue ones, which were red from crying. "I'm sorry" she said again as she brushed the last tears off of her eyes.
She thought about her brother, about how he had been ready to hurt her and she shuddered. She looked at Gabe and squirmed a little. She was slightly nervous that he may betray her too. Maybe he was taking her to Damien as they spoke. She was scared of everything around her just then and she could do nothing about it.

Gabe knew that she didn't believe him. Her father was the type to show it in his eyes, not with his mouth. How did Gabe know this? His father was the same way. His father showed it in other ways, by giving him a noogie or telling him he's proud of him. In guy talk that meant that he loved his son. Gabe was the type to say his feelings, what was on his mind. It was hard for him to stay elusive while on the job. He was usually emotionally invested in these jobs. "You do know that your dad left you a big inheritance." Gabe said with a shrug. "Whats his is yours." Gabe added.
"Actually, I was hired by your father, but it is for you. I'm not protecting him, am I?" He asked as he looked over at her. "I'm not going to run. That would be detrimental to my job." He said with a smirk. He narrowed his eyes at her, as they sat in the taxi cab. He wondered what she was going to do next. Women. They were so unpredictable at times, Gabe didn't know what to expect.
His eyes widened slightly when she said that she's going to hug him. "Alright." He said as she put her arms around him, and hugged him. He immediately wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. "Aw, you youngin's look all so cute, innit?" The taxi cab driver asked with a chuckle. He held onto her more.
"Well, you are younger than me, so you are a child." He chuckled, as he held onto her. The taxi cab driver stayed silent. He blinked when she pulled away from him, her blue eyes watching his brown ones. "Don't be." He said immediately. "I'm here for you." He said as he watched her. "I will get you to your parents, don't worry." And Gabe will hopefully see the father say something nice to his daughter, and the mother as well after this whole ordeal.
The taxi cab stopped. "Kings Cross Station to your right. £8.78 pounds please. " The taxi cab driver asked. Gabe shoved a hand into his pocket and handed him a few slips of paper. "Thank you. Have a nice night." The taxi cab driver said, with a nod, as Gabe and Robin stepped out of the cab and walked into the station.

Robin liked his comforting words. They made her feel warmer instantly ... though she still felt slightly out of place. The driver made a comment on her age and then so did Gabe and she crinkled her nose. "I'm twenty four y'know" she said as they got out of the cab and began walking. "You can't be much more than what .... seven years older then me?" she guessed as they walked along the station full of bustling people. Suddenly she stopped when she saw another wizard walking around with a daily prophet. On the front was a picture of her and a large statement saying 'he wants to send her back piece by piece'. Robin stopped suddenly and stepped in front of Gabe.
"There's something you need to know" she said suddenly as she looked at him with an anxious expression. "I went to visit my brother a long time ago and Waters was there .... he tried to ... well ... that's not the point, I got away anyways." she rubbed her temple and looked back at him. "Despite the fact that Damien has every person in the wizarding world fooled ... even his followers," she took a deep breath as though it would physically hurt to say this, "he's a muggle ... he's nothing more than a foolish man with a twig" she said firmly as she looked at Gabe.
"And hopefully it wont come down to it but, I mean I don't want to die but if it comes down to it I wont let you die for me" she said in a firm tone, strong in her convictions. Slowly she got up onto her toes and barely managed to kiss Gabe's cheek. She leaned back and gave the first slightly real smile she had had in a very long time.
"NOW," she said in a fake happy tone, "let's get our train hunny" she said as she linked her arm with his again and pulled him along. She felt a massive weight lifted off of her shoulder. She finally told someone part of what she had been hiding for so very long. She let out a long breath and smiled a bit more. She lifted her hand to hide the smile from Gabe.
