It was funny how this little power of hers worked, she could also pick up on people's emotions. It was so strange, and she hated how sometimes people's thoughts would flutter into her own. Luckily, she was glad that Steve's thoughts remained inside his own head, but she did feel the way he did about possession. She wouldn't want to harm anyone, nor would she want to get harmed. From what she had heard and seen on tv, it wasn't pretty. Good thing she usually had a persuasive nature about her, and could get the ghost to cooperate. When Steve turned and smiled at her, she smiled back. God! He was just too cute.
Tango had only watched the show once, and that was the very first season. The reason? Kelly Clarkson of course! Girl was hot, and he loved her voice. She was just awesome. There was another show he used to watch when younger, and that was The Mickey Mouse Club, only because he secretly wanted to be a Mouseketeer. I mean come on, who didn't? It was so awesome to be dancing and singing on tv. Why did they take that off the air anyway? Ah well, he got over it and started watching more manly shows, like CSI, Ultimate Fighter, and some other things he couldn't remember at the moment. Good thing for him, he wasn't obsessed with tv, otherwise he and Alison might clash? Not that it mattered really, he was always willing to compromise, he was just that agreeable.
There was something about Steve that drew her to him, and she didn't mind it. Being close to him felt empowering and soothing at the same time. Fe didn't have a flair for drama, but there were times when things just boiled over and she couldn't take it anymore. She never yelled, instead, she worked her anger and frustration out, sometimes much like a guy would. She'd go for a walk, lock herself in her room and not come out for a while, go to a gym or something, but with Alison around, she was able to talk about it. Her past friends weren't as good a listener as Alison was. And she was thankful for that, but she could tell Steve would be the same way. Thank goodness for him as well, age meant nothing, her feelings were pure and true.
He was sure there were nose strips or something for snoring, right? Or a special pillow, he had seen them advertised on tv before. Now Tango, was pondering on whether or not to invest in one. He probably should, just because it might make it easier on anyone who had to share a room with him at nighttime. As she came over to look at the thermal, he nodded and smiled pointing it out for her in the rewind. Tango was smiling a lot more than normal with her around, but he liked it. He had a reason for a grin on his face now. He did a sweep of the area, and noticed that Thatcher had gone, he frowned, until Alison asked him to point the thermal at her. He did, and there was a hand on her knee, clear as day. The hand shifted and moved upward, he gaped and growled a low grumble. "Hey! He's... like... putting the moves on you!" he said in a somewhat angry tone. "Did you used to use women like that Thatcher? I really don't appreciate that kind of contact on Alison, thank you very much." he said with a huff, then heard a very distinct male laugh. Tango shuddered as something cold touch his back. "Something just touched me." he then lost balance and tumbled forward, "Now he just pushed me!" he said wide eyed.
Jay nodded again when asked if it was true, of course it was. Would he lie? When Grant approached, he was already rewinding, and then paused on the spot where you could clearly see Scarlet leaning in to answer. Grant had a childlike grin on his face, which made Jay smirk. It was incredible, they had never had the spirits react this way before. "I don't think so, not like this. It has to be something to do with Felicia. I really think they're responding to her presence, we've never had ghosts who were so willing to interact before." he nodded and shrugged a bit, making the same mental note as Grant.
By the look on Steve's face, he was perplexed at why she would call him amazing. He was in so many ways he wouldn't understand, at least to her. She smiled to herself at the thought. The children were responding well, and she was happy about that, it was nice to help a child. Even a dead one. Fe was mostly glad that they didn't steal her energy like Scarlet had, and Thatcher might, it was a scary thought when the ghosts would do that. "Ten! Okay kids, have at it." she said with a huge grin on her face, and she felt something cold brush past her. She knew it was one of the children. Steve followed the kids, and they soon came back, the dog figure floating in the air towards, and was set in front of her. "Thank you for finding it, it's one of my favorites." she nodded and glanced at Steve who was obviously having a moment with one to the children. "Victoria says that she.. Likes your kind face and thinks..." Fe blushed and giggled a bit, "Oh my. She thinks that we would be good for one another." A girlish giggle echoed throughout the room, as Fe finished the sentence. She blinked and bit on her lower lip, strange how ghosts could pick up on these things.

Steve had no idea what abilities that Felicia worked, but he was happy that she was here to help them communicate with ghosts better. It wasn't as if they were trying to banish the ghosts. They just wanted to put the ghosts into submission in a way. To tell them that this wasn't their place to freely roam anymore. To stop making the inhabitants in this place from feeling intimidated from ghosts.
Alison too also watched the first season. She was great. And like many other girls, she watched the movie that came out a few years later called, From Justin to Kelly. Obviously, a romance between the two. Now, Alison had the urge to watch that. She was a bit young to understand The Mickey Mouse Club. That's where they differed slightly. She did like CSI at times, and she was a huge fan of Ninja Warriors and lots of action adventure movies like Back to the Future as well as Indiana Jones and the James Bond Series. Alison wanted to be a Bond girl. How cool would that be?
Steve liked having her around. He knew that he would make her talk when she was angry or frustrated. Steve liked having her around. She made him happy. He could never see her as being the kind to go into hysterics. But he knew that she would be a bit more like a guy and moody than anything else.
Alison wondered if he was thinking about remedies for snoring. She didn't care. If they weren't really loud like her uncle's she would be fine. She smiled at him before she went to sit on the desk. She gasped and then glared. "Perverted ghost." She muttered underneath her breath as she hopped off the desk. SHe looked over to see Tango look like he was being pushed. Thankgoodness that the cameraman behind her got that all on camera. Alison rushed over and held her hands on his arms to hold him steady. Sure she was petite, but she can help in weight slightly. "You okay?" She asked, watching Tango cautiously. She then looked over his shoulder where Thatcher would be. "Thatcher, that was very rude what you did to me and him. Did you know Scarlet? Is this how you treated her?" She asked curiously.
Grant smiled. "This is truely one of a kind case." He knew that it had something to do with Felicia, he can just feel it in his bones that her powers were helping them communicate with the ghosts and help them to a better place. Grant was definitely sure of it.
Steve smiled at the ghost girl through the camera. Aw. No one should have died that young. He bend down so he was face to face with the air, but in reality with the ghost. The cameramen were shocked to be seeing this happen before them. One even commented quietly to the other about the floating dog. The two boys beamed at her, even though that she wasn't able to see them. He chuckled as he smiled at Victoria. "Well I like your face too." He commented to Victoria with a small smile as he patted the top of her head gently, even though he wasn't sure that htey were able to feel things like they can. He smiled. "Well is that so?" He murmured quietly. "I think I'm good for her too, just don't tell Fe that." He said half-jokingly about the not telling. Because of course Fe can hear him.

As Felicia thought about it, she would have to fully explain how her abilities worked to Steve and the rest of the crew. Jay was the only one who knew the full extent, and she was sure he hadn't told them all about it yet. It was her job, really, seeing as it was her mind and her body that held the powers. She hoped Steve wouldn't get too confused over them, but they were confusing to her at times. When younger, she wished she was normal, but now that she was older she could appreciate her powers more. And she did enjoy talking to some ghosts, they were interesting to learn from.
Tango wasn't interested in the movie that came out, he just liked the first season. It was fun to watch, and unlike most guys, he'd admit to being a Kelly fan. What was wrong with that? She was awesome, not his favorite but awesome. He was more a fan of rock. Any type, as long as it had guitars and drums, he was happy. He couldn't choose a favorite, but he could probably list his top ten if asked. He was also a big fan of action/adventure movies. Indiana Jones being his favorite movie series. Tango was also a slight nerd in the fact that he adored Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, in fact he had read the Lord of the Rings books, at least twice. Heh, he loved his nerdiness. Tango embraced them, but then again what guy didn't like Star Wars? It was the coolest thing, running around with lightsabers and such. Now he wanted a lightsaber, a real lightsaber.
Fe loved being around Steve, he was amazing. Even if he didn't see it. But what Fe wanted to know, was what made him tick. His favorite foods, colors, movies, musical genres. Everything there was to know about him, sure they had forever to find out, but she was buzzing with curiosity. Or maybe it was just the fact that her energy was coming, and she had all this energy to get out? Felicia was the silent emotional type, she had them, showed them, but expressed them more to herself than others.
Steve never mentioned the loudness of his snoring, he may have to ask one of these days. Maybe before they went to bed, tonight? Speaking of Steve, he wondered if Fe and Steve were hitting off. Well, he was sure they were, but he wanted to know if any progress was made. "Cha." he huffed and wished that he could hit a ghost, it was disgusting him. Upon being pushed, he felt a little dizzy and almost dropped the thermal, good thing he didn't. When Alison came running over, she helped steady him and he shook his head. "Rude much?" he whispered out in the air to Thatcher. "Yeah, I'm alright. I'm just glad I didn't break the thermal." he nodded and shrugged. He did a quick sweep of the area, and saw nothing, he felt nothing as well. "Maybe he ran off?" he whispered to Alison as he pointed to the thermal.
It truly was, and Jay agreed. "Definitely." he said with a small smirk, "I'm glad we listened to Alison and Felicia's request about this place. I'm having fun already." he said as he looked around the area again. Scarlet had gone, but he felt a cold spot behind him and turned around pointing the thermal at it. Nothing, ah well.
The girl ghost had taken a liking to Steve, and she smiled at that. She was getting good vibes from all the children as they played with her, and talked to her. The two boys approached and handed the figure to her, she smiled and nodded in their general direction. She had done this before, but not often. "Do you boys like candy?" she asked, taking a small caramel from her pocket and setting it on the table in front of her. She heard the respond with a yes, and smiled more. "What was your favorite?" she blinked then looked at Steve. Fe could hear him, as he was responding to Victoria, and blushed as he said that he would be good for her. The boys noticed and laughed a cute little boy type laugh. She coughed. "Vicky wants to know if you... Wow.. If you plan on marrying me one day?" she shook her head and looked at where the little girl should be. "Vicky, we've only just met, and I doubt he was thinking about that right now.. I... What?" she asked as the male ghosts said something to her. "Oh really Benjamin? You think that we should? Well I never." she laughed and shook her head, not daring to comment more.

Alison liked music. Mostly rock music. She had to say that she never watched Lord of the Rings or even read the books. Scary. Yes. But she was a fan of Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and yes, even Harry Potter. She was a nerd. She liked obscure things like Japanese rock, or Japanese cartoons. Alison had an inner nerd. You just have to be there for her to let her inner nerd out. Maybe a nerd movie-watching marathon with Tango would do the trick? Maybe.
Steve knew that she was the quiet emotional type, but that worked for him as well. He was pretty quiet when he wanted to be. He was the more gentle personality while Tango had the more outgoing and gullible personality. Steve loved all different kinds of music like Weird Al toMaroon 5 to Iron Maiden,Blue Man Group, Danny Elfman, BEN FOLDS FIVE, Dashboard Confessional, Tenacious D and so on. As for movies, he was a big horror movie fanatic. But he also liked cartoons and old comedy movies. In no particular order..... National Lampoons Vacation, Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Star Wars, Return of the Living Dead, Von Boyage Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Anchorman, Back to the Future, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ghostbusters, Edward Scissorhands and more. He was all over the place with music and movies. He couldn't help himself. Though he never was the one for romantic comedies but he can allow himself to watch them if Fe wanted him to.
Alison wondered as well if Fe and Steve were getting along even more. Well she knew that they were, why wouldn't they? They would be a cute couple together. She bit her lip as she held onto his shoulders. "You sure?" She asked curiously, watching him carefully with a small frown on her face. She too felt nothing as well. She walked over and took her K2 reader and placed it into her pocket. She shrugged as she went over to him. "I guess so." She said with a smile towards him as she hooked her arm through his. "Shall we walk down that hallway?" She pointed to a random hallway.
Grant smiled. "Same here." He said with a laugh. "Shall we switch it up? Let Tango and Alison take a break while we go downstairs and Steve and Fe go up to the sixth floor?" He asked Jay with a smile. Apparently, the ghosts on the fifth and sixth floor were gone, for now. But they had some really good footage. They know that they would get amazing evidence either way if they stopped now or not. He nodded to Jay and then picked up the radio. "Okay guys, time to switch it up. Tango and Alison in the command center, Steve and Fe in the sixth floor, Dustin and Kris in the fifth floor, and we're going to the foyer." He got the copy's and started up and walking towards the door. "Thank you Scarlet." Grant called over his shoulder.
Steve chuckled softly as he smiled at Victoria. Awh. He wanted a child. And a family at that. He wanted to be a afamily man. He can see himself as a family man, married with kids. He knew that he would be a great father. He did babysit Grant and Jason's kids once. He looked over at Felicia with a small chuckle again. Steve raised an eyebrow at Victoria where he realized that she was sitting down indian style smiling at him. He too did the same thing. "Well maybe. I'm not sure how she feels for me, plus we just met today. But I do like her. It might happen. Who knows?' Steve answered Victoria and the kids and Felicia softly, but honestly. He didn't know, but he did want to be in a relationship with her. He can see himself in a relationship with her. He heard Grant talking on the radio and nodded. "Copy." He said before frowning. "Kids, we have to go upstairs. But you guys have to entertain Grant and Jason. They have kids your age as well, so they have a fatherly feel to them too." Steve said, sweeping the thermal through the room, he saw the two figures by Felicia nod slowly, understandingly. He then swepted the thermal back to the small ghost girl and saw that she was pouting, but nodded as well. Awe. Steve wanted a daughter like her, and sons like them.

Tango hoped they had the same music tastes and such, would make it much more fun to hang out when they liked the same things. If she hadn't seen some of his favorites, he'd have to teach her in the ways of the super nerd! Oh yes, he was a jedi master in that area. He had never gotten into Harry Potter much, then again he only made it to the third movie and hadn't seen the rest, so he needed to catch up. All of them were finished and it wasn't hard to rent them, he just never made time for it, bad on his part. Tango had actually read some Japanese comic books and enjoyed them, the music was kind of iffy, but he would give anything a try at least once.
Felicia had no idea that Steve knew more about her, than he let on. It was kind of funny that she knew the same things. How is it you meet someone for a day, and feel as if you've known them a lifetime? It was truly amazing. She thought about Alison, and knew the she and Tango were perfect. They were both fun, flirty, silly and gullible. Fe listened to almost everything, didn't mean she'd like it, but she would give anything a listen to at least once. She loved lost of mainstream rock and pop, but also some under ground type things as well, and she was a huge sucker for musicals. Huge. If Steve loved horror films, they were in business, she adored horror flicks, as well as comedies, and the old fashioned movie. For example, Casablanca, it was a classic and it had the greatest story of all time. Plus Johnny Depp was her favorite actor, so anything he was in, she loved. Cartoons were a given, really, who didn't like cartoons? Fe wasn't a watcher of romance movies, unless it was with the girls. She hadn't subjected a guy to one, ever, she felt it wasn't right unless the guy specifically said it was okay.
Tango was glad that Felicia and Steve were paired up, not that he would mind being paired with either, it was just the fact that he was getting to know Alison better. And that was a lot of fun. Speaking of cute couples, wouldn't he and Alison make a good one as well? But he doubted Alison was thinking along those lines anyway. "Yeah, I'm fine." he smiled at her and nodded, he was just glad the creep of ghost was touching her in wrong ways, or something. Tango was almost glad the ghost had gone, but on the other hand that meant no more activity for the show, or to investigate. Ah well, it happened. He patted her hand as she slipped her arm through his and smiled at her. "Sure m'lady, shall I escort you to your room?" he said faking a British accent and sounding proper. He was far from that, but it was fun no less.
Jay nodded to him, as he did one last sweep of the room before Grant suggested about switching it up. They should, another hour or so had gone by. "Sounds good to me." he nodded, even though he wasn't looking forward to descending more stairs. Why did this place have to have so many stairs? Grant called the switch up notifications, and he smiled at him. "Alright, shall we?" he said as he followed Grant out the door, he whispered a thanks to Scarlet, and Jay laughed. "Yes, thank you Miss Scarlet." he nodded and left the room, only to get to the stairs. Joy, stairs.
Victoria did have a way about her, she was too adorable. All the kids were, Felicia wanted a family as well. It would be lovely to have a nice house and a few kids, she'd still be a working mom because that's what she wanted as well, but she still wanted to be a mom. Steve seemed like the perfect guy to have a family with, she looked at him and smiled. He would make an excellent father in her opinion. Steve sat down opposite her, and answered her question. She blinked, she could still overhear, didn't he know that? Maybe that was the point? The boys tugged on her sleeve and beamed at her, as if they knew what she was feeling inside, she smiled back. "Ah, time to switch it up." she sighed as she heard Grant over the radio. "Grant and Jason are really nice, so play some games with them." she winked at the kids. "Thank you for playing with me." she nodded as she picked up the EVP and followed Steve out of the room to the stairs.

Alison did like hanging out with Tango, and she can definitely see herself watching Star Wars and James Bond with him. She smiled thinking about it. She needed him to catch up on the Harry Potter books and the movies. Sure, the movies don't really compare to the books, but they were still very good. She also needed him to get into Twilight, the most possibly addicting book ever. She would get him into that and into more Japanese comic books.
Steve smiled at Felicia. He did think a lot about her. He liked her like he knew her foreever. He knew that htey were the same kind of person, which is why they would have gotten along so well. He did like horror movies, and comedies, and very old comedies, but he can go from pop to metal to classic rock to folk. He was just an all over person when it came ot music and movies. Though his favorite kinds of movies have to do with Halloween, ghosts, zombies and the such. Oh, and let's not forget about his two kitties that are at home: Sassy Lashes and Home Depo. Yes. He has two cats. He was not allergic to them, thank god.
Alison wouldn't mind either if she was paired up with Steve and Felicia but she rather stayed with Tango instead. She bit her lip as she thought about cute couples. She thought that that they would be such a cute couple as well. Though she was thinking along the same lines as he. She smiled at him. "Good." Alison giggled softly as he patted her hand as he smiled at her. "Why yes you should kind sir." She mocked back, putting on a fake British accent as they descended the stairs and went out to the command center. They smiled at Dustin and Kris as they went into the hotel as Alison then climbed into the back. "Ahhh, warmth." She said with a grin, as she took off her jacket to show a thermal long sleeved shirt underneath with a few buttons down the front.
Grant smiled and nodded as they started to go downstairs to the foyer. They smiled at Dustin and Kris as they went up to the fifth floor, and then Steve and Felicia as they went up to the sixth floor. This was a fun night, and it was only two in the morning. They got about two or three more hours until they were done with the investigation. Grant started to walk into the foyer. "Okay, so from what I gathered, I hear that there are three kids in this area. two boys and a girl. They're names are Benjamin, William, and Victoria." Grant said softly as he held a K2 out in one hand, and a EVP in the other. "Grant and Jay, Mohonk Mountain House, October third two thousand and ten, at two oh four in the morning." Grant said into the EVP.
Steve smiled at Victoria. She was too cute for words. It hurt to see that she died so young. He still wanted to be a father. He smiled at Felicia. He can definitely see her as a great mother. Sure, they would both be working, but they would be great parents anyway. He would stay home during the day and be a stay-at-home dad. He can see himself do that easily. Steve sighed as he heard Grant and stood up. He took Felicia's hand as they walked up the stairs to the sixth floor. He sighed softly. "Sixth floor, then command center, then we're done." He said with a smile over to Felicia as they passed Grant and Jason on the stairs up to the sixth floor. They landed on the sixth floor and he started to do a thermal sweep of the floor, to see anything.

He wasn't sure when they would have their movie date, but whenever it was he was looking forward to it. It would be awesome to sit there, snuggled up next to Alison watching some of his favorite movies. Although, she might be disappointed in him. He had read Twilight just to see what the hype was about, sadly, he couldn't get through the first chapter. It was boring, and too much of a love story for him. He had read a few Harry Potter books, though, and those were interesting. More fight to 'em, Twilight was okay. Then again, Tango wasn't one to follow the crow much either. Look at his job, duh.
Felicia smiled back at him, she could see something in his eyes despite the dark. The same longing she shared in her own. It did feel like they had known each other, a lifetime, when they had only met a few hours ago. She couldn't keep her mind off of him, that's how all the ghosts were picking up on it. The evidence was obvious to everyone but her, she had no clue the feelings Steve had for her. It was awesome that he preferred Halloween movies, those were her favorite. She had a thing for horror films, maybe it was the cliche actors and actresses? Well, whatever the reason, she'd gladly curl up into his lap and watch them with him.
Tango was happy when he figured that they were next for command center. Thank goodness too, he was starting to get sick of wandering around with the stupid thermal. And the stupid rude ghost, he wished for a moment that he could've punched him. Sadly, he couldn't. He smiled and nodded at her, when she commented about him being alright. With a small shrug, he looked at her, when she faked a British accent as well, copying him. "Indeed." he said lifting his nose into the air, as if he smelt something terrible, he didn't he was just being a goof. As they descended the stairs, he waved to Dustin and Kris, then walked outside. It was colder out here, than in there. They settled in the back of the van, and he laughed. "Seriously, huh? Man, I can't feel my nose." he said wiggling it. He took a seat next to her, and pulled off his jacket, he looked at Alison, and blinked, she looked amazing in that shirt. Turning his head to the camera, he tried not to stare.
Jay and Grant passed the rest of the crew, and they smiled and exchanged pleasantries. It was two in the morning already, which meant packing up in about two hours, time flew when having fun. Even Jason could have fun. When they were down in the foyer, he watched Grant talk about the child ghosts, and listened to him do the EVP. "Good morning kids, and how are you?" Jay said nicely, hoping Grant would get a response from the K2.
All of the kids were darling. It was tragic that someone so young had to die, life could be such a cruel fate. How could someone steal something so precious from the world? She wished she knew their story, but deep down in her heart, she was glad she didn't. Fe glanced at Steve, she knew they'd work well together as parents, at least she hoped. She wouldn't know until it actually happened, which would be a while from now. Didn't bother her, though, she wouldn't mind waiting forever for Steve, he was just that great. He grabbed her hand, and she laced her fingers through his. Again that warm feeling erupted through her stomach, and she leaned her head on his shoulder. "Awesome, I'm starting to get a little tired." she nodded, and pulled out the EVP. "Steve and Felicia, Mohok Mountain House, October third, sixth floor, two oh seven in the morning." she sighed and took a peek at his thermal, nothing. "We heard your name it Thatcher, would you like to talk to us? Or move something to show us that you're here?" she asked the ghost.

Alison wasn't sure either when they would have their movie date, but she was definitely excited to do that. She would need to get him into Twilight. Even though, sure, it wasn't as good as the Harry Potter series, but hey, it was still good. It was a love story, but it had ultra cool vampires in it. Heck, Alison had a crush on a guy in her college that looked like Edward but that didn't go over too well because he wasn't interested in her. Well, that wasn't true. The boy didn't really know her at all. But hey, he was very good looking guy, and Alison really wanted to date him, until she met Tango, and then all thoughts of Edward-clone flew out the window.
Steve smiled at her again. He couldn't help but to feel happy when he was around her. She would definitely be a great mother, he could see that. She already handled those kids greatly, like a true mother. And Steve felt pride swelling in his heart as he watched her talk with the kids. He loved horror movies, half because most of them are pretty cheesy, but the other half is because they also made him think and get creeped out. He would definitely hold her in his arms while watching the movie. That is, if she allowed him to.
Alison smiled as they walked down the stairs. She giggled at his posh attitude. The actor Tango. He was pretty good, if she did say so herself. She walked down the stairs, gripping his arm tightly for the fear of falling down the stairs. That was one of her fears, is to fall on the stairs while walking down either in the dark or in her slippers, both of which she hated doing. "Same." She said, putting a hand to her nose to touch it. Really, it was pretty cold outside even for October, but that's what happens when they're in the mountains. She smiled at him, and bit her lip gently and leaned against him with a yawn. Thankfully, the other cameramen were in another truck, getting warmed up, while Alison and Tango were in the command center, alone.
Grant smiled as they saw the others go up the stairs as they walked down. Grant smiled as he put the EVP down on the floor in the middle, as well as the K2 reader. Hopefully, they'll get a response like Steve and Fe. He smiled. "I'm Grant and this is Jason, we're fathers. I have three kids, and he has five, most likely around your ages." Grant said with a smile. "Are you here? If you can, make this object flash twice for yes, once for no." Grant added. The ghosts did it before, right? Grant looked over and saws the K2 reader flash twice. "So, your names are Benjamin, William, and Victoria? Am I right?" Again, it flashed twice. Grant grinned over at Jason. "Fe was right."
It was sad to know that those kids when they were human did die at one point. Steve sighed softly. He hated leaving the kids behind in the hotel, but he knew somewhere that Scarlet would look over them like a mother. Hopefully. He bit his lower lip and sighed again. It was sad to know that he wouldn't have such well behaved kids like those three. He smiled at her when she laced her fingers through his and rested her head on his shoulder. He was happy about that, feeling this close to her emotionally and physically. "Hah. Same." Steve chuckled softly with a nod of his own. He stood nearby Fe, not wanting her to get hurt. He was more stressed now because the rogue spirit was supposed to be up here. The K2 flashed twice, as if saying yes. "Well, he is here." Steve murmured to her softly. "We just don't know where."

Tango was just as excited as she was. They could watch movies, talk and just have fun without feeling to stressed out about what to wear or where they should go. That was always a plus, easy dates, something they both had in common and something they would both enjoy. He was glad Alison wasn't the type of girl to suggest a fancy schmancy place to eat or going to a mall, or some other cheesy first date thing. He wouldn't be convinced into Twilight, he was stubborn about it. Wasn't the fact he didn't believe in love, he just wasn't into romance type books. With Harry Potter, there wasn't much of that. Just all the adventure they got into, and the trouble. Much more fun to imagine than making out with a vampire, ew. Not cool.
Steve was great, he acted like a good father to those ghost kids. Funny how they were both just tested in that area, and thinking about making families while down there. Maybe fate had a funny way of trying to tell them something? Felicia shrugged it off, couldn't be true. Felicia was a true lover of movies that made you think, anything that got the cogs in the brain working was a classic to her. Plus, the cuddling part when watching a movie with a significant other was amazing.
Jay was hoping the same thing Grant was. He did a sweep of the thermal once more, and saw something duck below the table. He blinked and frowned, rewinding, it played for him again and it looked like a head. He paused it and walked over to Grant. "What does that look like to you?" he said, just to make sure he was still sane. With the way this investigation was going, he wasn't so sure anymore. When he resumed with the questions, he unpaused the thermal and pointed it at the K2 reader. It blinked twice, and there was a hand in front of. No, a whole body in the shape of a boy. "Of course she was, look." he said pointing to the thermal as all three kids walked in front of the K2. "You guys liked her didn't you?" he smiled.
Children were the worst to die, they were so innocent. So pure. If she somehow found out that Thatcher was the cause of their death. Felicia was sure Scarlet watched over them, she had that soft and sensible personality. Or so Felicia thought anyway. He was so warm, and gentle, she liked being next to him. Steve had a soothing presence, it was as if all things that worried her or bothered her in some way melted when she was near him. She loved the feeling, and wanted it to last more than anything. She nodded to him as he said same to her tired statement. She smiled at him again. "Mm, that could present a problem!" Fe squeaked as something touched her butt. "Something grabbed my.. butt... and it was cold, Thatcher did you do that?" she said, and watched the K2 it blinked twice. "He said something about playing games.. Liking to play them, with girls mostly." she frowned and looked at Steve, she didn't know what that meant, and she was almost sure he didn't either.

Alison liked staying in for dates. It was less formal, no awkward silences over a dinner. She liked just hanging around, wearing regular clothing, or even pajamas? Maybe. And then playing video games, ordering in food, prefferably Chinese food, and then watching movies, and playing more video games. That's Alison's favorite kind of date. She only had that once in her life, and it was fun, though it was many years ago with her first "boyfriend" if you can even call it that. She will get him into Twilight, or at least read the guy's version. Yes, the guy's version of Twilight. Which is called Midnight Sun. It was in the point of view of the vampire, which is more interesting to read in her opinion.
Steve knew that this was an odd coincidence. Them acting the roles of parents toward the ghost kids. It was pretty weird how taken they were to them, especially little Victoria with him. He smiled at that. He loved being with her and it was truly sad that he would never have a child like Victoria. But maybe he would someday when he has kids. He'll raise them right, and to be a lover of horror movies and Nightmare Before Christmas. Because, well, that movie is a classic and it's kid-friendly somewhat. He'll let them watch it when they're six, or seven or eight. Nothing below that. He didn't want his children to get nightmares. He's not that horrible of a father.
Grant hummed softly as he walked around before looking back at the K2 reader. He blinked when Jay came over to speak with him. He blinked. "Rewind it?" He asked, as he watched the small scene again. "Woah." Grant's eyes widened a little. "That looks like a head. Child-sized." Grant suggested, looking over at Jay. With the look on Jay's face, he knew that he hit the suggestion on the head. Grant looked at the thermal. "Wow. The owners will love to see this." Grant said in awe. He looked over at them and smiled seeing the K2 lit up twice. "And I heard that you guys spoke to Alison as well. Did you like her too?" Again, it lit up twice. "Can you tell us in the other object that doesn't light up what year you guys died? Or what happened?" He asked softly. Grant leaned over to look at the thermal to see one of the boys lay down on the floor on his stomach and looked like it was in the direction of the EVP.
Steve sighed softly as they walked around the sixth floor. He was more on edge now than ever. He knew that hte ghost Thatcher was up here, and he didn't want him to be mean or nasty to anyone, especially Felicia. He sighed as he did a sweep of the floor. "No one." He muttered to her with a small frown, before hearing her gasp. He blinked turning around. "What?" He asked with a bigger frown on his face. He used the thermal and saw the hand move away from her...er...nicely shaped bottom. "Thatcher. What do you mean by games?" He said with an undertone of authority and disproval, hoping to show the ghost his place. Where this man cannot go around and molest women when they least expect it.
Alison yawned as she looked from one webcam to the other. "I'm so tired. I can't wait til we go to sleep." She said softly to Tango as she leaned against him, as she watched the different screens. They saw Dustin, Kris and some cameramen walking around in the fifth floor and the room five-oh-one. And then to Grant and Jay standing infront of the K2 and EVP that was on the floor. A little bit of bittersweet happiness went through her as she watched them interact with the ghost kids that she knew was there. To the next camera that was on the sixth floor that was at one end, to the last camera that was on the sixth floor that was at the other end.

Tango felt the same about dates, only he'd order pizza instead of Chinese food. Pizza was his favorite, that and some Battle Front 2 on the Xbox 360, he'd be in heaven. He also like playing Halo, Gears of War, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero. All of course on his 360. He didn't care for the playstation as much as he used to, or the wii. That thing was a joke, and it got boring after about an hour or so. He'd never had a casual date before, all of the girls he had gone out with had been high-maintainence. He hadn't known that at the time, otherwise he wouldn't have dated them! Tango was stubborn, and didn't read much to begin with, besides needed to finish Harry Potter before anything else. He had this thing where if he started one book, he couldn't stop and read another till that one was finished, and if it was a series, don't even bother. It'll take him a year to get to a new book.
If Steve had a daughter she'd be a daddy's girl. No doubt, little Victoria had Steve wrapped around her little finger, imagine if it was his kid? He'd do anything for that little girl, she could tell. He was just a big sweetheart, and that made her heart thrill. Felicia liked that in a guy, she could be kind of fierce and opinionated at times, so someone with a sweet disposition helped her. Molded her. If their kids watched Nightmare, she would be happy, she was a big kid and knew all the words to every song by heart. She even bought the cds when other artists would do their takes on the songs. So much fun.
Jason nodded in agreement with him. "It is a child's head." he laughed then fixed the thermal so it was on live again. He laughed as they both exchanged that look they had, sometimes they didn't need to speak they could just read each other's minds. They had been friends, and working together, that long. "Yeah, we've got some good stuff." he nodded doing another sweep of the room, when the kids appeared in front of the K2 reader. How were they doing that? Did the children have the much energy in them? The kids were answering Grant's question! "Amazing, this is too amazing." he said in an awe sort of tone.
Felicia felt violated, she hoped he didn't mess with Kris or Alison, but she was sure he did. He was laughing, not audibly, but she was positive the EVP picked it up. She looked at Steve, whose faced hardened and asked what kind of games. "Mind games... Games of... Oh my... the kind you do in the bedroom.." she coughed, and almost blushed. This ghost was making her uncomfortable, she felt something touch her lower back and twitched. It suddenly got really cold, and her breath was turning into small plumes of smoke. "Steve.. It's so cold in here. What's he doing?" she said with a frown on her face. Thatcher was scaring her now.
Tango saw her yawn, and yawned too. Darn, why were yawns contagious? "Same, I think I might pass out in here." he said with a small laugh. "I really don't want to climb those stairs again.." he said with a small sigh as he watched the screens for anything. There was nothing. When she leaned against him, he wrapped an arm around her, she was comforting and making him more sleepy. His eyes drifted to the bottom right corner, where Steve and Felicia were. "Woah, Fe looks scared... And Steve looks pissed. You don't think Thatcher did something do you?" he asked Alison.

Alison could do with pizza as well. She wasn't that picky of an eater. Though she thought that it would be fun if they baked their dessert. Why? Because one it gives them something to do together, and two, she loved to bake things, even though she wasn't that great at it. Hah. She'll get him to read faster. She's a fast reader, so she knew how to read pretty quickly as well as understand and remember the details. Alison remembered how her mother wouldn't believe her when she was done with a book and then would quiz her on the books asking vague questions when Alison would reply with long detailed answers, and then some. She couldn't help it. She was a big reader. Granted, she didn't have enough time to read anymore, but she tried to find time to read.
Steve would love to have a daughter. Though he would be dreadfully protective over her. Even more than a normal dad. His daughter would be his angel, his little girl. Even the thought of that made Steve smile. Oh gods. He wanted to be a family man now. He couldn't help it. He really wanted to be a father. He knew that his children would love Nightmare Before Christmas. Heck, it is one of his favorite movies in the whole wide world. He would definitely let his children watch. And Steve had a slight inkling that Felicia loved that movie as well.
Grant blinked. "Yeah it is. Wow." He was definitely happy to be here in New York. He smiled at the children. "I heard that you guys also liked Tango and Steve as well?" Grant asked, as he moved over to look over at Jason to look at the thermal. He watched as the girl nodded a lot more at the name Steve. The boys nodded slowly as hopefully they also spoke it aloud. Jason nodded in agreement with him. Grant chuckled and nodded. "Really it is." He too said with awe as well. "How about Scarlet? She lives upstairs." He added, making the K2 reader light up twice. "And Thatcher? What do oyu know about him?" He asked softly. One kid moved over to the EVP and started to talk into it. "Thank you Benjamin?" He asked not sure which was which. The said ghost who was talking into the EVP waved his hand twice over the K2, making it light up twice. "Thank you Benjamin." Grant said affirmatively, still in awe.
Steve was very unhappy now. Not even unhappy. He was pissed off at Thatcher, but he couldn't say anything...unappropriate. "That's not appropriate kind of games Thatcher. There are children here." He said with authority, not wanting the ghost to feel even more provoked. Though apparently what he was saying was provoking the ghost in a different way. Not to hurt Steve, but to "play" with Felicia so to speak, and that made Steve very angry with the ghost. No one should be harassed like that, not even a ghost. He moved his thermal over to er...her lower back and saw another ghostly hand there, connected to a body. Steve swept the thermal up the length and up to a head and somewhat features of a face aorund his height, if not a bit shorter. "Thatcher Jacobson. Get your hand off of her lower back. She is taken." He said sternly, and watched as the hand moved away but the body moved closer to Steve and pushed him. Steve lost his footing and moved backward.
Alison laughed. "Well don't do that." She said with a small laugh as she looked up at him briefly when he wrapped an arm around her. She shivered slightly, from the cold and a happy shiver from him and smiled to herself as she looked at the different camera shots. She blinked as she looked from one camera shot to see the one with Felicia and Steve there. Alison looked at their emotions on their face and then watched as it looked like Steve was pushed and gasped softly. "I definitely think that was Thatcher." She said softly, a bit fearful for her friends now. She bit her lower lip as she moved closer to Tango, wanting solice now.

Baking things was pretty neat, he hadn't baked since he was a kid. Every Christmas he and his mom would make gingerbread houses from scratch. Took forever, but the end result was worth it, plus it impressed a lot of people who would come over to their house when visiting. Tango always felt proud of it, that he had helped make something so cool. If Alison was a fast reader, she'd be frustrated with him, but he could compromise maybe. He couldn't speed up his reading, only because he was so used to reading at night, that he'd get sleepy while reading, even during the day. Tango needed a good reprogramming.
She could see Steve being an over protective father of a little girl, she wouldn't blame him either, little girls were so vulnerable. Then again, she'd also want him to be the sporty and fun father of a son as well. Felicia would love to be the soccer mom, ferrying kids around in a van, then taking them for pizza after a game. Fe could almost see the pair of them with two kids, a boy and girl both would be great as well. Now she was baby hungry, she wanted a baby, but only with a stable guy. Steve was perfect, she bring that up when the time came, not now.
Jason shook his head in disbelief, it was truly amazing how the kids were reacting to them. Actually sitting in front of the EVP and speaking to it. This place was filled with activity the most they've had in a long time. The kids responded to the mention of Tango and Steve, but Victoria was nodding more fiercely at Steve's name. He smiled, missing his girls. Jason laughed when Grant agreed and said it in the same tone of voice. "Friendly, aren't they?" he chuckled watching the kids through the thermal.
Felicia felt a sudden shock of fear. She didn't know how to react to him, he was being so... Forceful and inappropriate. "Yes, you cannot behave in this manner." she said even though her whole body was shivering. Fe stood there, unable to move, she couldn't think. She didn't want to provoke him, nor did she want to see Steve hurt. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, she listened to what Steve said about her being taken, she smiled, then gasped as Thatcher pushed Steve. "Steve!" she cried and ran to him, grabbing his arm to help steady him. "Back off.. I warn you..." she said in a threatening voice to Thatcher. "You back off.." Came a ghostly voice, she shuddered again and was pushed away from Steve. "Something's wrong... He's.. Pissed not just angry pissed.. H-he wants to hurt someone." she said in a panicky tone.
"I can't help it, you yawned and it made me sleepy." he said with a slight chuckle. He felt her shiver and squeezed her shoulders for a brief moment, then relaxed. He liked the feel of her next to him, and with the increasing sleepiness, he wasn't feeling as nervous as before. Just tired. Tango nodded and shook his head. "I don't like the looks of that..." he said as he saw Fe pushed away from Steve. "He's up to something, what should we do? Radio Grant and Jason? Tell Steve and Fe to get out?" he said blinking as he stared at the screen. He was worrying for his friends.

Alison would definitely get him into baking again. She knew it. She loved baking and loved the smell of it wafting through the house as well as the idea of learning how to make something together, while just being with each other while making such a good tasty treat. She would compromise with him. She also did get sleepy when she read at night. Alison couldn't help it. She just loved to read books. It made her happy. Well...not as happy as being with Tango at the moment.
Steve is definitely an overprotective father like personality in him. But he can definitely see himself play catch with his son, or playing video games with him. Hah. Steve is such a homebody. He did like playing video games. They were good for hand-eye coodination, and strategy games. He can see her as a soccer-mother, bringing the kids to the soccer games, and going for pizza. Knowing him, he would be the coach for the soccer team, because he has the personality of being a good coach. Seriously, those soccer coaches have such a bad reputation.
Grant laughed softly. "Well, we wouldn't know about their thoughts on Thatcher Jacobson til later when we review the evidence." Grant said with a sigh. He really wanted to know their story. Hopefully, Kris is going to go to research up on the house and find out more information about the other people who had resided here years before the owners came to own this hotel. Grant nodded with a smile as he started to ask other questions. "Uhm, Grant?" A tentative voice from his radio. Grant picked it up. He knew it was Alison. "Hey, what's up?"
Steve frowned when that happened. He stood in shock when he heard the disembodied voice and knew that the EVP would pick that up. Even though they have enough evidence to last a lifetime. "Thatcher, what you are doing is wrong. Can't we talk this out?" Steve said, his voice still stern though not as much as before. He couldn't believe what happened. He wrapped an arm around her body to keep her from falling as well. "Thatcher please. This isn't your home anymore. You are just an embodiedment that resides here. You're making guests at this hotel nervous." Steve added, holding onto Felicia.
Alison smiled as she felt him squeeze her shoulders for a bit, like a hug. She wanted to scream with happiness at the moment. Being in this car/command center, being with this amazingly cute and funny and nice guy and watching videos for paranormal experiences. This was pretty much the best night ever. She frowned as she watched that. "Same here." SHe nodded. "I'll radio Grant." Alison said with a nod, taking her radio out from her jacket pocket and pulled it up to her mouth. She listened to his answer and then continued to say, "Tango and I saw something on the camera angle on the sixth floor. It looked like Grant was pushed, a bit violently. Should we get them out of there? It might be too dangerous for us to be in there." Alison said softly, concernedly, as she rested her head on Tango's shoulder as she spoke into the radio.

Tango wouldn't mind baking with Alison, in fact it sounded like the best idea he had in a long time! Yep, he would have so much fun. But what to bake? Brownies were always good, but sugar cookies were fun, that way they could decorate cookies for each other and stuff. He would have to get sugar cookie mix and icing now, so they could do that when she came over to watch movies. He liked reading enough, but he wasn't an avid reader, he was trying that was for sure because he did get bored with watching tv all the time. Sometimes his favorite game called to be beaten again though, and he'd head the call. Well, that and playing online with Steve was fun too. They made a good team.
If they were in a relationship together, who would be the stern parent? Steve was a softie, but she was sure he could discipline in a calm way. She'd probably have to be the one to show the kids who was boss, so that way they wouldn't misbehave too much. She could picture Steve playing video games with a boy or two, and having fun teaching them things that he knew about that she would have no clue of. Like how all the equipment worked here for TAPS. If they worked together, they'd make a good pair, like peanut butter and jelly. Just right for each other.
Jason nodded with a small smile on his face. "True, but it'll be interesting to listen too." he nodded, as he watched the kids through the thermal. Maybe Felicia and Alison could help Kris with that, while the boys did all the watching and reviewing of the tapes? It would be good for the girls to interact more, become more friendly. He was sure Alison and Fe weren't the types to start fights, but sometimes girls could get catty, and he didn't want that on his team. He blinked when Grant got a call on the radio, soon Alison was telling them about Thatcher lashing out on Fe and Steve. He looked at Grant. "Yeah, we should... She's highly sensitive, if he wants to take possession of her he could. And that's too dangerous to risk. Radio Steve to get out of there." he said to Grant.
Felicia looked at Steve, she hated to see him pushed like that. But Thatcher wasn't going to give up without a fight, she could feel his presence, it was strong and he didn't like men. Not at all, but what to do about that? As she was shoved, Steve caught her and she clung to him. It was getting colder up here. "Thatcher, it's time for you to move on, this is no longer your place anymore." she said in a nicer tone, but what met with another disembodied voice. "This is my home, get out." She blinked and looked at Steve, she didn't know the drill for that, all she remembered was Jay and Grant saying 'when in doubt get the hell out', she felt like it was one of those times, but wasn't going to leave without Steve.
There was smile on his face, he was happy to be with Alison and having her in his arms. She was so great, so cute. It was hard not to stare at her pretty face, with those green eyes and full lips. If only he could kiss her, really kiss her, but he didn't want to press his luck. "Good idea." he nodded as she pulled the radio out from her jacket pocket and called to Grant. He sighed, he didn't like the idea of Steve and Felicia getting pushed around, but it seemed like Thatcher wasn't one to back down without a fight, those kinds of ghosts were dangerous. Grant radioed back, saying that he wanted them out and was going to radio them right away. Tango let out a sigh of relief as he rested his head on top of hers.
