It was a good thing that they had met, because Alison was more her type of person to hang out with. They were both really conservative, and would rather be sitting in a room studying for classes, instead of going out and getting drunk. It wasn't all that fun, plus you ran the risk of alcohol poisoning, among other things. Besides, you didn't need to drink to have fun, you could have fun just hanging out with people. Fe was sure this was what brought them close, really close.
Tango laughed when she did, he still liked to hear her laugh. "Twenty, huh? No longer a teenager." he smirked and winked at her, again, "When's you birthday?" he asked curiously. She said soon, so he wondered how soon. Tango also wondered if he should get her something, was it too soon for that? They had only just met? Oh well, he'd figure it out soon. "Uh oh... That's no good." he said shaking his head, he was still teasing a little. He laughed again and snorted slightly.
Felicia looked at Alison, when Steve was laughing again. She saw their pouts and laughed too. She shook her head, Alison was such a big kid sometimes. It didn't bother her though, they got along so well, it was hard to get mad at her. When he said that, she blushed. "I didn't know we'd be paired off so fast..." she muttered flashing a look at Jay.
Jay caught Fe's look and shook his head, pointing to Grant. Jason laughed, as he saw the nervous look in her eye, she would fit in nicely with Steve. He looked over at Grant as he rallied the troops and they took off up stairs. Felicia was right behind him, followed close by Steve and the youngin's dead last. He could hear them talking from where he was.
"Okay..." he said as he looked at her. He was kind of nervous to do it, it was one thing to talk about it. And a whole 'nother level to actually do it. When she leaned over and kissed his cheek, he stopped in his tracks and looked up at her, rubbing the spot where her lips touched his cheek. Tango was blushing lightly, but caught up to the rest of the pack soon and then leaned over and gave her a quick peck on her cheek, in return.

Alison wasn't the type to drin k or get high. She would rather hang out, play video games, (most likely Rock Band 2), go to events on campus and so on and so forth rather than going to a party. She went to a few parties and found them rather boring. Everyone is drunk and playing drinking games, and dancing provocatively while being drunk. And her fear of someone throwing up on her, Alison didn't want to be apart of that crowd. Her and Fefe clicked well because they both didn't like to party. They were homebodies.
Alison blushed at what he said and nodded. "This Tuesday." She said with a grin over to him. "You dont have to get me anything. The experience here ghost hunting is my present." Alison said with a beam on her face. "It's October Sixth. In just four days." She added with a smile. She looked over at him and pouted. "Shaddup." She laughed, knowing that he was only teasing her.
Steve grinned at her. "Me neither. But I'm glad." He murmured, looking over at her and then away and looking around the hotel. He whistled low under his breath, surprised at the place. Even though he was in here just minutes ago, this place still took him by surprise. Alison was right about how truly spectacular this place is.
Grant put his hands up as if he was just stopped by the police. He then grinned and shook his head and pointed back to Jason jokingly. He patted Jason's shoulder. "Thanks for that." He said sarcastically to Jason with a grin on his face. The owners started to walk off to the first wing, on the East side, to start with the main big rooms. The high tea room that doubles as a music venue at night was a big hot spot for ghostly happenings. Grant nodded as he listened to the owners.
Alison didn't care if she did it or not. It was a game. And it was a tie. She was outgoing enough to kiss him on the cheek. Especially that it was Tango that she's giving a kiss on his cheek, she would gladly do it. She turned her body around to see him still standing there. Her breath caught in her throat as she watched him walk up the steps and kissed her cheek softly. She blushed, her pale skin turning red. They stood in the back, listening to the owners and then following them from room to room. She was still blushing the whole time.
Steve looked over at ALison and sniggered. "Look at them. It's too cute." He whispered into Fe's ear softly, as he nodded his head over to Alison and Tango's blushing faces.

It was nice to spend time with Alison. They could hang out and play video games sometimes, although Alison was usually better, she could keep up pretty well. Most of the time, when they attempted to go to parties, both of them would be assaulted by guys who were drunk, and they'd want them to drink, and then she and Aly would say no. And it was just a mess, she'd rather just not go there.
"Tuesday huh?" he smiled a little. That was coming up pretty fast, and then she mentioned what he had just thought about. He blinked and frowned at her, she totally perplexed him just now. "Are you sure, you're not a little psychic?" Tango laughed and smiled, then was told to shaddup. He shook his head at her, and continued to follow the rest of the gang.
When he said he was glad to be paired up with her, she grinned at him. "Me too." she nodded to Steve and climbed the stairs. "Wow..." she said as she looked around and really focused on what she was seeing. Even though she'd been here before, it still took her breath away. That was the wonder of this place. Plus, last time she was here, she didn't notice the paintings on the roof. "Like it?" she said beckoning the place with her hand.
Jay blinked and looked at Grant as he stopped dead in his tracks, then muttered a thanks. "You're welcome." he laughed and shook his head. Still listening in on Fe, Steve, Alison and Tango. He liked the fact that they were getting along, and who knows maybe there would be a few romances in store?
As he kissed her on the cheek, he looked back at her and saw that she was blushing just as brightly as he was. He coughed, and looked ahead. The blush was cute on her pale face, he liked the sparkle in her eyes as well. Tango wondered if he was the cause of that, or if she always had the sparkle.
Fe noticed Alison and Tango, she smiled and almost jumped as Steve whispered in her ear. She wasn't prepared for it, and it had caught her off guard. "Oh yes, it is. Then again I knew it would happen." she whispered and winked back. She knew Tango would like her, why wouldn't he, would be the better question?

Oh the guys who would hit on them. Alison knew those girls well. Well, you know what I mean. SHe didn't want to get with them. Partly because they're drunk, and the fact that they wanted to get her drunk was not her thing at all. Alison was okay at the video games, not as good as her friends, but she did rock at the Rock Band bass guitar, and the singing. She usually got 95% on the singing on hard. But then again, it depended on the song that she sang.
She nodded. "Yup Tuesday." She said with a laugh. She looked over at him and raised both eyebrows. "So, what I just said aloud was what you were thinking? Odd." Alison said with a grin on her face, as they walked up the stairs to the lobby. "I'm sure that I'm not a bit psychic. I would be surprised if I was though." She said with another small laugh.
Steve smiled as they walked up the steps. He nodded. It was just beautiful. "Yeah..." He trailed off, looking at the paintings on the walls, the wooden decorations everywhere, on the railings, and some of the floors. The tiny tea rooms, the bigger dining room, the hotel rooms. Steve wondered when they'll start putting their things into the hotel to start investigation. They seemed to be ending the tour in a few minutes, in Steve's opinion. "It's gorgeous" He said with a smile towards Fe. 'Just like you.' He added in his mind.
Grant grinned as they walked back out of the hotel just a half an hour later. He got a few ideas on where to put the cameras in the hotel as well as the mini dv recorders and who to stay with who. Since this is their first time, Alison and Fe will stay with Tango and Steve respectively the whole night. Grant grinned to himself as he went to the car and started to bring things inside. This will be an interesting night.
Alison saw out of the corner of her eye to see him watching her with a blush on his cheeks. She bit her lower lip nervously and giggled softly. She linked her arm through his, in a childlike manner as they walked through the hotel tour. Bah. She didn't care that this was on television. But thankfully, they were in the back in every scene so they were fine to hook arms or even flirt. Alison nodded to the owners, taking in everything that they said about the hotel. She smiled. She couldn't wait to investigate! Later, she found herself back outside the hotel, bringing things into the hotel to start setting up the gadgets.
Steve chuckled. "That's true. They're too much alike to not get along well." He said with a grin over to her as they walked around the hotel together, and then back downstairs and outside the hotel, helping Grant, Jason, Dustin, Kris, Alison and Tango with the gadgets. Steve was going to use the truck for the multimedia center. And he made sure that he has every single chord and plug for each camera that will be connected to his mobile computer.

Felicia had been to Hollywood before, so she knew the scenes out there as well. Her friends back in California were biiig partiers and she hated that. They all wanted to drink and go dancing in night clubs where most of the guys watched them dance, then when they did decide to dance, would ask if they could take them home. It wasn't who she was, she liked to get to know guys. She'd rather be friends with a million guys and never get any action, than sleep with a bunch and never get any satisfaction. Luckily, Alison was more her type of girl to hang with. And they rocked at making their own band, Fe was good at the guitar and loved to do the solos.
"Nice." he smiled and nodded as she asked about what he was thinking, "Mhm! You answered my question for me, it was really weird." he laughed and patted her shoulder. "In a good way though." he winked at her and smirked as she talked about not being psychic. "Hmm, well you can definitely read minds, somehow, so I'm sure you'll make a psychologist." he grinned at her again.
She remembered most of the rooms, from her stay here that one time. The owners were such nice people and they looked thrilled to have TAPS here. Fe didn't blame them, they were such an awesome team and so thorough. She looked at Steve's face as he studied the place, she liked the wonder she saw in his eyes. "Yeah, definitely gorgeous." she whispered to him as he smiled at her and smiled back. She looked away as she almost bumped into Grant on her way up the stairs. She chuckled nervously and tried not to look at Steve, as she was blushing.
Jay was looking around and figuring things in his head. There needed to be cameras in all the right places, and people in certain rooms. He hoped that he could Felicia out and about most, to test this little power of hers. He was also hoping that there'd be more spiritual activity because she was amongst them, and that maybe just maybe, they'd actually get a spirit live on video camera for once.
Tango bit on his lower lip as she linked arms with him and they walked up the stairs together. He was getting a feel for the place, and Alison. She was just so pretty and her personality was amazing, it made him want to blush more. But he contained it with a small cough as the tour was coming to an end. He couldn't wait to break out the gear and set up. It would be awesome, especially since he was getting to work with Alison.
She nodded at him. "Too right you are." she winked, as the tour came to a close and they all walked outside to start setting up. Felicia was a newbie when it came to electronic equipment such as this, so she stuck close to Steve, in hopes he'd explain it all to her. She was almost completely clueless. "The van is the command center then?" she smiled at him as Dustin walked over and picked up a few cameras. "Hey Fe, a hand?" Felicia nodded to Dustin and went to go help him set up the cameras in the places indicated by Jay and Grant.

Alison blinked at Tango. "Woah weirdness. I dont think that has ever happened to me before." She said with a sheepish shrug and a smile towards him. He was too cute. Teehee. Alison blushed when he complimented her about being a great psychologist. "Thank you." She said with a smile to him. She couldn't help but to blush around him. She was like a middle schooler again.
Steve was pretty thrilled to be at the hotel. It was a gorgeous hotel, with lots of designs and details that date back to the late seventeen hundreds. Maybe earlier than that. He looked over at Felicia and smiled at her. "I'm amazed at this place." Steve commented quietly as Grant and Jason were listening to the owners intently. He flexed his muscles, stretching his arm out slightly and then looked around the hotel still in awe.
Grant smiled at Felicia as she bumped to him on the stairs. "Sorry about that." He said with a small laugh. He then turned to Jason and grinned. "So, ready to put the cameras in the hotel?" He asked with a grin. He was very excited to work on the hotel. And to watch how Tango and Alison work together, as well as Steve and Felicia. They seem to be working well at the moment.
Alison beamed at Tango as they walked around the hotel together. "Gawd I love this place." She whispered to Tango as they stood in a hotel room to listen to another owner. She shifted from one foot to the other as she nodded and watched the owners intently. Soon, she was back outside, and hauling in mini dv cameras. "So, Grant, where should these go?" She asked him with a smile.
Grant looked up from the camera that he was fiddling with and smiled at her. She was a cute kid, and that she made Tango happy. "Those should go on the fifth floor, room five-one-oh." He instructed. "One camera should go on the table near the door, that dresser where it looks at the bed. The other should be turned towards the closet and the bathroom door because that's where they say they open randomly." Grant added, making sure Alison knew where to put it.
Alison grinned and nodded. "Gotchya." She then started back towards the hotel to put the cameras in the right places. She hummed softly as she walked up the stairs, the stupid five flights. Good thing that she goes to the gym regularly, or else those five flights would not have been fun to walk up and down. She arrived at the hotel room and placed the cameras in the appropriate spots and then walked back down the flights and out to the cars again. She sat on the front steps, watching, and relaxing for a moment.
Steve chuckled. "Aren't I always right?" He asked with a grin as they walked outside to the car. He hopped into the truck and got everything set up inside the car. He stopped fiddling with the monitor for a second and looked up at Felicia with a smile on his face. "Hah. Yeah. This is the command center for the night." He patted his monitor fondly. "Though tonight there will be always two people in here. Dustin and Kris are taking the first shift, then Tango and Alison, then Jason and Grant, and lastly us." He said with a nod. He smiled as Felicia then walked away to help Dustin with the unloading.

Tango blinked and looked at her from the corner of his eye. "I have a theory.. Maybe our brains were on the same wavelength for all about two seconds?" he said as he tapped the side of his chin with his free hand. It made sense, right? He smirked at her, as they continued walking up the stairs, he wasn't paying close attention, he was having too much fun with Alison. When she thanked him, he winked at her. "Welcome." he chuckled.
The artwork here still took her breath away, she was a huge lover of antique things. Felicia was also very fascinated with all things Italian as well, and she hadn't noticed this before, but there was a Monteccilli on the fifth floor. That was part of the reason she ran into Grant. "Mm, same... My favorite painting." she whispered as she was now blushing furiously. Bumping into Grant and acting a bit of a goof in front of Steve wasn't a good thing.
Jay turned around for a few seconds to see what Grant was on about, then noticed that Felicia had collided with his back after whispering something to Steve. He shook his head, then looked at the owners again as they mentioned something about doors opening and closing on these floors. Also the spirit of a woman walking around.
"I can see why." he said as he looked around. He was in a state of awe, as he looked at all the paintings and things. Tango loved places like these, it always made things interesting. The owners were done showing them what the place had to offer, and Tango went back outside to help set up cameras and things. He first trailed all the wires and chords into the place where they'd put up the cameras. Tango kept close watch of Alison as he was doing all of this.
Before everyone ran off, Jay made sure that everyone had walkie talkies so that they could communicate while setting things up. He walked over to the computer, and where Steve was. He looked at the screen as the cameras came on. "Alison? Tango? Whoever is on the fifth floor needs to adjust the camera a little higher. We're seeing most of the floor." he called over the radio. Then nodded when it was adjusted. "Thanks guys." he turned to Steve. "You and Fe will be up on that floor together. Reports of a woman walking around, I want to see if she can feel that.
Tango was up on the fifth floor when Jay called about the camera. He walked into the room Alison was in and tilted the camera up a bit for her. "If you keep it almost level with the floor, you get more coverage." he smiled and nodded at her, not realizing that also cupped inside of his hands wasn't just the camera, it was her hands as well. Once they both let go, he ran back down stairs to consult with Grant and Jay about camera angles. Everything seemed in order so he walked back to the steps and leaned against the pole next to Alison. "Nice job, rookie." he smirked and winked at her. He also offered her a bottle of water, as he drank from his own.
Felicia laughed and beamed at him. "So it would seem." she winked at him. "Fascinating..." she grinned as one of the cameras turned on and the other cameras followed. "Looks like we're in for a good night." she smiled again, before running off with Dustin. Who also explained to her about the EMF detectors. She stopped him at EVP, she knew what that was. Once things were unloaded and settled, she grabbed a bottle of water and stood next to Steve as she waited for Jay and Grant to lay down the law.
"Alright, I want Tango and Alison down in the foyer. Kris and Dustin up on the sixth floor. Lastly, Steve and Fe, that rhymes by the way..." he smiled and shrugged. "Anyways you two will be trying to track down the lady that roams the area. Her name is apparently Scarlet." he smiled and looked at the notes they had. "Grant and I will be at command center. Walkie talkies on, and time for lights out." he nodded.

Alison grinned. "Well that could have happened." SHe nodded. She rather thought that could happen. Why not? She wasn't a skeptic. She was a believer. She blushed when he winked at her. It made her insides go "squee" in excitement that Tango, The Tango from Ghost Hunters is flirting with her. It was a dream come true for her.
Grant smiled at her. "The Monteccilli. Beautiful painting." Grant commented off handedly. He turned to her with a grin. "It's great that a copy of it is here, right? Something nice to look at?" Grant asked her with a smile, while thinking, 'other than Steve. Haha. I'm so good.' Cue Grant mentally brushing the dust off his shoulders in a true gangster style.
Steve nodded at the owners. Wow. A spirit of a woman around? That sounds awesome to even think about. Mostly, however, they never seem to catch a full bodied apparition just staring at the camera, where you can see the face and body of the spirit. Hopefully with Fe's help, they will finally catch one on the television. Steve's stomach jumped. He was too excited. He couldn't wait.
Alison nodded with a smile. "It's just a great place. The feeling of the hotel is a bit eerie though. I guess that's a good thing." She added with a laugh. While she was putting the cameras into place, she heard Jay through the walkie-talkie. "Yeah?" She asked, before she heard Tango walk into the room. She looked over at him, and blushed seeing his hand over hers to adjust the camera together. "Oh okay." Alison nodded with a smile towards Tango. She then went back down to the front steps and sat down on them, waiting to go and do the lights out. Woot. Alison's heart raced with excitement. She looked up to see Tango leaning against the pole of the hotel with a smirk on his face. She caught the water bottle easily, and unscrewed the top and took a sip. "Thanks." She narrowed her eyes at him. "Ugh. Rookie? Really?" Alison laughed softly. "When do I get promoted from rookie?" She asked with a cheeky grin to him.
Steve nodded to Jay. "Okay, we can definitely do that." He answered Jay with a smile on his face. Steve nodded to Felicia with a grin. "Oh very fascinating." He flirted with her with a grin on his face. He checked the thermal imaging cameras and handed them out to Dustin, Tango, and had one for himself. He also gave an EVP, as well as an EMF to Dustin and Tango for their groups. He then stood outside the car to listen to Jay give the instructions. His eyes widened as he heard about the spirit woman. "Scarlet? Awesome." He said with a small nod and a smile.
Alison nodded. "Let's go Tango!" SHe pumped her fist into the air as she then went into the foyer, as Steve and Fe went up to the fifth floor, while Kris and Dustin went to the sixth floor. With so many floors, you wouldn't be able to hear the other people on the different floors. Alison grinned at the cameraman that was with them, and then turned off the lamplight in the foyer that connected to the reception hall, the gift shop, the sign in counter, and the small library rooms, and then the stairs up to the first floor rooms. She turned on her EVP. "Alright, this is Alison and Tango. Mohonk Mountain House. October second two thousand and ten. It is seven o'clock in the foyer." She introduced herself so that when Steve and Tango review the audio and visual tapes, they would know where they are in the hotel as well as the time.

Tango tapped the side of his nose, with a grin on his face. He was teasing her again, but it was all good fun. He liked Alison, the way she smiled and blushed was just too cute. "I think it did." he said with another smile at her.
"Mm, yes it is! It's my favorite." she said with a small smile as Grant commented on the painting. It was nice that they had a copy, the original was in France of course. "Yes, Grant... Incredible to look at." she eyed him suspiciously, but shrugged it off for the time being. Grant could be so weird sometimes, but she didn't mind. It made her laugh.
Fe was so happy to be out with TAPS. She had watched the show when it first started and now, she was here with them investigating her first place. Plus Steve was so much cuter in person, she had liked him on the show, but now she was really smitten. She was a good student and was going to follow Steve's instruction, she would need it.
Tango nodded and smiled at her. "It is a bit eerie, but in a good way. I really love this place. It's got some great stuff, and lots of hot spots." he said with a wide grin. That was always what he wanted to hear. As Alison and Tango adjusted the cameras, he finally realized he had touched her hands, and was blushing lightly on his way back outside into the sunshine. Alison caught the bottle he tossed to her and smiled as she asked about the rookie comment. "Not for a while, at least three investigations on the team." he nodded. "That's how long it took me..." he laughed as he listened up to what Jay was saying.
Steve was flirting with her! Felicia's head was spinning, it was like a dream come true. And she finally caught on. Fe smiled at Steve and was real close to hugging him, for no reason other than to just hug him. Steve helped pass around the thermals, EMFs and recording devices for EVP work. She watched and tilted her head, she wanted a gadget, sadly that wouldn't come for a while. She was a techno-noob.
"Hey! That rhymed..." Tango pointed out. He just had to, it was funny. He watched as everyone scattered and Jay called "light's out" on the walkie talkies. He helped her turn out the lights and he turned on the Thermal. He smiled as it clicked on and it was showing all the colors of hot and cold. "Is there anybody with us, right now?" he called out as Alison was doing EVP work. He shone the Thermal on her and smirked. "You're hot, yanno?" he whispered to her and winked.
Fe and Steve took off up the stairs and onto the fifth floor. Once Jay called light's out, she turned out all the lights she could find and watched Steve as he switched on a flashlight and his thermal. She blinked and felt something brush the back of her neck. "Gosh!" she exclaimed and turned around, there was nothing that she could see there. Turning on her flashlight, there was still nothing, but she felt something. "Steve, in the room..." she said motioning to the door in front of her.

Alison blushed when he teased her again. "I think so too." She agreed with a laugh towards Tango. Gosh he was too cute. She just wanted to hug him but she refrained from doing so. She bit her lower lip and giggled softly to herself, rolling her eyes at Tango.
Grant smiled and nodded. He blinked innocently at her. "What?" He asked with a grin. He looked over at her, with a smile, as he tilted his head towards her. He wanted to know more about Fe so he can pass it on to Steve so he can get his matchmaking on a roll. Well, he got it enough on a roll that Tango and Alison were clicking well, but Steve and Fe were very slow. Cautious around each other.
Steve was pretty happy to be on the team of TAPS. If he hadn't been on this show, and done all of these investigations, then he wouldn't have ever met Felicia. And he really wanted to get to know her better. Alison had told him on the way over to the Mohonk Mountain House that Felicia had a crush on him on the show, and that made him a bit happier because a girl that sounded so cool actually liked him? Wow. Mind boggling.
Alison grinned at Tango. "I hope that we'll catch something on the cameras. I would love to see something happen in front of me live. That would be great." She said with a grin over to him. She pouted at his comment. "Three investigations?" She asked with a smile. Well, that meant that she would be on more investigations with Tango. And that made her very happy.
Steve smiled as he thought about Felicia. Well he showed her a bit that he actually liked her. Woot. Good going Steve. He smiled as he handed the things out to the group and then made his way back over to Fe. They went up to the fifth floor and turned the lights off. He gave her the EVP. "I think you should hold this, basically just say where we are, who we are, what time is it, and then start asking questions." He said with a smile to her, as he held a flashlight in one hand, and a thermal in the other.
Alison giggled. "I guess it did." She grinned over at him, as they walked around the foyer. She used the EVP, and the EMF in one hand, and a flashlight in her jeans pocket. She turned before she started to walk towards the reception hall when she heard Tango. She winked back at him. "Yeah. I know. You are too." She whispered back before going over to the reception hall.
Steve blinked as he turned around to hear Felicia. "What is it?" He asked curiously. He blinked and followed her flashlight to the room across from her. That was room five one oh. The room that Grant was telling them about. The more hot spot. "Yeah. Let's go in there." He opened the door and walked across the room and sat down on the rocking chair, surveying the room with the thermal. "Scarlet? Are you here with us?" He asked aloud.
Alison put the EMF in the middle of the floor and sat down. "If you're here, and you want to answer yes. You can flash this gadget twice for yes, once for no. Are you a woman?" She waited for an answer, watching the EVP, while holding the EMF in her hand.

Tango grinned at her, he hadn't smiled this much in a long time. It was nice to be all smiles and have this joyous feeling in your gut. Or was that butterflies? Didn't matter whatever feeling it was he liked it and wanted it to stay. She rolled her eyes at him, and he just laughed.
"Nothing Grant... Nothing at all." she said with a small sigh, she smiled again. Felicia couldn't stop smiling, it was the thrill of a new adventure. Fe had always been one for adventures, and she couldn't help the feeling that this was a whole new one. Along with something else with Steve, that was another thing entirely. "I fancy Italian anything, just so you know." she whispered to Grant. She sort of picked up on his thoughts and winked at him.
Yes, she was cautious around Steve, she had to be. Fe had been heartbroken once, quite severely too, and she didn't want that to happen again. She knew she could trust Steve, but it was that stupid fear that kept her from moving forward. That was okay though, taking you time was better than rushing things. Besides if Jay and Grant liked her and Alison, they'd be back working with TAPS again, who knew what more opportunity that could bring?
Jay overheard Alison and grinned at her. "Wouldn't it? Rarely happens though, kid." he nodded and went over to Grant.
Tango nodded in agreement with Jay. "Yeah, Jay's right. Rarely happens, but I keep my hopes up too. Because you never know." he smiled at Alison and nudged her side gently. "Yes three. Then you're not considered a rookie anymore." he smirked at her and winked. He was sure that Jay and Grant wanted Alison and Fe on the team. They had worked really well so far, this was just their test. He just hoped that Jay and Grant wouldn't try and scare them, like they did to all the rookies. For some reason, he kind of figured Fe would be harder to scare than Alison.
Fe was glad Steve had showed an interest in her, now she just had to be obvious about her crush, then things might get rolling. When Steve came over to her, and they climbed the stairs together, he handed her the EVP. "Thanks," she smiled and nodded, "Fe and Steve here, at Mohonk Mountain House, October the second two thousand and ten. Seven oh two on the fifth floor." she said into the EVP recorder. She was glad to be doing EVP work, it would help her get a feel for things.
Tango laughed at what she said, then looked around with the thermal, still nothing so far. But patience was key to any investigation, had to give the ghosts time. He smirked at her, when she said he was hot too. "I meant thermally, but thank you sweetie." he said with a small wink, not that she could see, but he did it anyway. Walking around, he followed her into the dinning hall.
So far, she had been touched, wouldn't be the first time. It just surprised her everytime a spirit would reach out and grab her, it was kind of scary sometimes. "I was touched, and something it luring me into that room." she nodded as Steve followed her and it was the room that Grant had mentioned. She smiled to herself as Steve asked if Scarlet was with them. "If you're with us Scarlet, would you please show yourself? Or move something for us." she said in a soft and warm tone. She didn't get the feeling that Scarlet was a bad spirit. There was a rocking horse in the room and it began to rock, Fe smiled and nudged Steve to point the thermal at the horse.
Alison set the EMF down and sat. He stood in the corner, shinning the thermal all over, so he could get some coverage. "If you're here, move something for us, please?" he said in a soft tone. Just then, then the EMF went off twice. "Alison! Look..." he whispered pointing at the EMF. It was went off twice again. "Woah." he smiled, and looked at the Thermal, there seemed to be a hand resting on the table, where Alison had place the EMF. "Totally rad," he whispered. "Is you're name Scarlet?" he asked, in hopes that it would go off again.

Alison couldn't help but to smile. Tango just made her happy. Its a different happiness that she hasn't felt in a long time. But then again, she hasn't been in a relationship in so long, it made her cautious to hop into another one. She was probably rusty. Gawd. Even at the young age of nineteen, she hasn't had a proper first kiss yet! How embarassing!
Grant smiled at Felicia. "Excited for tonight?" He asked her with a smile on his face. He wanted to make sure that his rookies are having fun and want to be working, not feel forced to work. Grant is a leader, and a loving boss. He wants them to feel safe, that no one is going to hurt them. Maybe the ghosts, but he can't promise anything. "Ah. I'll keep that in mind." Grant said softly to Felicia with a grin.
Steve hasn't also been in a relationship in a long time. He liked being in a relationship, feeling loved an all. But what made him afraid was the fact that there was a big age gap between him and Felicia. Did she pick up on that too? Steve really did like her, and genuinely like her. He liked her personality. She had that personality that would make you want to be near her more. Steve sighed as he worked on the computers in the command center. He had to get his mind off of her for a moment and on the task at hand.
Alison grinned and shrugged. "Ah well. The experience here with you guys is making me happy enough." She said with a small laugh. She shrugged again at Tango's comment. Alison pouted when he nudged her side and said that after three she wouldn't be a rookie anymore. She blushed when he winked at her. "That seems a long time. But I don't want to be a rookie anymore." She said with a small giggle.
Steve smiled as he handed her the EVP. "No problem." He turned on the thermal and walked around the room, trying to get a thermal sweep of the room first. He looked over at her and nodded, encouraging her. She was doing it right. That's good. "Just start asking questions." He commented offhandedly, as he inspected a few things in the corner of room five one oh.
Alison looked over at him and winked. "Oh it's my pleasure really." She answered with a grin, as she watched the EMF. Please let it light up. She thought to herself, as she heard Tango whisper and then looked over at the EMF. She grinned as it lit twice. "Cool." She murmured underneath her breath. She watched with bated breath as Tango asked about Scarlet. The EMF flickered again. This time once.
Steve sat on a stool in the room and did another thermal sweep in that hotel room where the owners said that Scarlet lived. He did a thermal sweep over the rocking horse and gasped softly. "No way. Fe, come here." He said, waving a hand over to her to beckon her over to him to look at the thermal reading. There was a body, in the rocking chair, and it definitely looked like a woman.
Alison gasped softly, and turned to Tango. "Is there more than one ghost in this house?" She asked the entity that is in the room with them. She looked at the EMF and watched as it flickered, twice this time. "Alright, I'll start counting upwards, and flicker twice when I say the number of the entities that is in this hotel." She said to no one in particular, though it was towards the entity, or entities. "One...two..." She paused before continuing as she watched the EMF raptly.
Meanwhile, inside the TAPS van, Grant and Jason watched excitedly on the fifth floor and on the foyer. "So far so good. It seems that Alison and Fe both have encountered some spirit in their rooms. Wait, does that mean that there are more ghosts in the hotel?" Grant asked aloud, as he looked over at Jason, who was looking over the notes that they had taken during the walk-through of the rather large hotel.

Tango hadn't been in a relationship recently, and it wasn't because he was afraid. He just didn't have time, he was doing so much for TAPS and then working part time somewhere and just had so much on his plate that, he didn't have the chance to meet and flirt with girls. Now, he was glad to be out and about again. Plus the fact that Alison was here with him, made it even better.
Fe nodded at Grant with a big smile on her face. "Very much, I've never been ghost hunting before." she nodded and shrugged. So what if it was her first time, there's a first time for everything, right? She was glad that she could finally do something that she had always wanted to do, and write it off on the bucket list. She had started one her freshman year for a writing class, and she thought it was interesting, so she actually kept it. "Hmm, if this works out, my birthday is next May." she chuckled and shook her head.
She knew that it wasn't going to be easy, to try and win Steve's heart. But she was willing to try, Fe really liked him. He had that calm and gentle personality that most girls would be attracted to, plus his adorable smile helped a lot. It was just tough, when you had been hurt before and didn't know if you could trust, let alone, love again but there was something different here. Something totally new with Steve and she liked it. Fe really liked the feeling he gave her, when he was near.
Tango grinned as she spoke. "Yeah, same." he nodded, then blushed a bit. He had just been real open and honest with the fact that he liked her. He blinked and took a sip of water to cover it up. It was kind of too late now, but oh well, he didn't mind if Alison knew. In fact, he liked the idea that she knew. That way, it'd be a little bit easier on him. "It does, but I think Grant and Jay like you and Fe. Plus I'll put in a good word or two." he smiled at her.
Fe grinned at him, and was met with an encouraging comment as she said the time, date, and who they were, and where they were. She did start asking questions and of course was met with activity already. It was strange how this happened right away, but she was glad that it did. It gave her a chance to really show Steve that she knew what she was doing, and that she wasn't a faker. She could communicate with spirits and sense their presence.
He chuckled again. It was nice to have someone more his age, and very nice that she was a girl. When it lit up and she uttered a cool, he grinned. It was super cool. When it flickered once, that only meant one thing. Multiple ghosts. "Are you a male ghost?" he asked and waited for the EMF detector to go off. It went off twice. He blinked, that was strange.
When Steve sat, she remained standing, she could really feel Scarlet in this room. A young woman who had died unjustly, still in her mid to late twenties. Steve beckoned her over to look at the thermal, lo and behold there was the shape of a young woman sitting on the rocking horse. She smiled as she looked at the thermal, then at him. "Amazing." she gasped. "Thank Scarlet, can you tell us why you're here? Are you trapped?" she asked as she felt the pain the young woman felt. It hit her right in the chest and she had to lean against Steve for support, as he was the only thing near to lean on. "She's in pain..." Fe whispered to him, as it hit her.
He looked at her. This was too weird, yet cool at the same time. "Wait... I got something... Damn! It's gone." he huffed a little and rewound the thermal to see if he could catch it. There it was, a blurry looking figure of a face. "I got a face Alison!" he whispered as she continued with the EMF, trying to figure out the number of ghosts. He turned the thermal back on, and began sweeping the room again.
Jay and Grant were seated in the van, watching everything that was going on. He looked at Grant who was smiling about how the new kids were getting along with each other. "Yes, it's very good. I'm really pleased." he nodded, then blinked when he asked about other spirits. "Reports of a man walking the lower levels. Being touch and shoved down there, along with a scent of cigar smoke." he said looking at the notes. "I'd say there are more than one. But Scarlet seems to be the most prominent." Jay said as he looked at the camera, "What's happening to Felicia?" he said as he saw her collapse against Steve.

Grant grinned. "Well you'll do fine, I'll make sure of that. I have trust in you Felicia." He said with a grin on his face. He blinked at what she said. "What was that?" He asked curiously about her birthday in May, and if what worked out. Now he was a curious lil bugger. He couldn't help it. That's what happens when you're just curious about everything. That's half the reason why he got into Ghost Hunting.
Steve didn't want her to win his heart. She already has it. So why try to earn something that can already be yours? He did have a sweet personality, but at times he can be very funny. All in all, he was just a big teddy bear that was scared of spiders and bugs and bats, but never ghosts. He loves ghosts, and finding out the real truth if there are ghosts or not.
Alison blushed at what he said. Did that mean what she thought he meant? She turned her head to look over at him, and then back at the K2 reader. She bit her lip as she watched the reader, wanting it to flash again. So it was a male, and it was here. And there are more than one here. "Awh thank you Tango." Alison said with a winning smile over to him, half wanting to get up and give him a hug. "When we walk around later, I'm giving you a big hug." She announced to him, before turning back to the K2 reader.
Steve watched as she started to ask questions. He smiled, watching her in her element. Her energy element, with entities. Hah. Steve made somewhat of a funny. Steve watched her as she asked questions aloud to the ghost or whoever was there, as he continued to do a thermal sweep of the room. He did however, still see the figure on the rocking chair. He remembered that the owners said something about Scarlett and her rocking chair in room five one oh. The very room that they are currently in.
Alison did like the fact that beside from Felicia, Tango was the closest to her very young age. Well, nineteen-almost-twenty isn't that young, but it was a lot younger than Grant, Jason, Steve, Dustin, and Kris. Alison bit her lip as she continued to count. At the number five, the K2 reader flickered twice. "Five ghosts in this house. But we only know two of them. Are the other three children?" She asked curiously, remembering t he Shining with children running up and down the hallways. Since Mohonk Mountain Hotel might also be based on that, it was logical that there could be spirit children here too. She watched the K2 flickered twice again.
Steve watched on the young woman who was still in the rocking chair. Steve couldn't believe how long the entity was manifesting itself there. He took out the EMF to see the readings. He placed it at the feet of the rocking chair and shone his flashlight at the reader. Dang. It went up high. It was 4.5 on the reader. And for a ghost entity reading, that's pretty high up. And it made sense. He blinked when he felt Felicia lean on him. He looked up at her worriedly. "Are you okay Fe?" He wrapped an arm around her, not wanting her to faint on him, or trip over herself. "Pain? Have you been hurt Scarlet?" He asked politely, holding the EVP out on the windowsill behind the rockingchair to get the voice of the ghost.
Alison turned to him, her green eyes widening. "A face?" She squeaked. "Wow." She turned back to the K2 reader and smiled. "If there are kids here, I would love to talk with them, or even play a game. Do you think that they would like that?" The K2 reader flickered twice again. Then, ALison started to feel cold. "Hey Tango?" She whispered over to him. "Do you think you can do a thermal over me? I feel very cold right here."
Grant blinked. "Yeah. But look at their cameras. There's a lot of stuff going on with Steve and Fe, and Tango and Alison. Alison's been getting lots of hits on the K2 reader." Grant commented, pointing to the lower right hand corner of one camera shot of Alison sitting on the floor, with the K2 and the EVP on the floor with her, as well as holding a flashlight in one hand. Grant bit his lip and smiled. "I think this might be one of the most active places in the country." Grant whispered to Jason excitedly. He blinked as he then pressed the button on the radio. "Steve? What's going on in there?"
Startled, Steve slapped a hand to his side pocket where his radio was. He took it out while with one arm around Fe, he pressed the radio to his face. "She's okay. We promise." He said before putting the radio back into his pocket. After all, he didn't want the ghost to be scared away if he started to tell Grant excitedly about what just happened.

Fe smiled at him. "Thanks Grant." she said with an air of renewed confidence, she liked everyone at TAPS. And this ghost hunting thing was too much fun. It was her element, and she loved it. "Oh just a wish that I'll be a part of the TAPS team." she said in an almost whisper, she was subtle with most things, and outright with others. Fe was just strange that way.
If she could read Steve's mind, she'd be so happy. Sadly, she couldn't and couldn't even tell that he was really crushing on her, the way she was crushing on him. Fe didn't even mind the age difference, Steve was kind of a big kid anyway. Plus, she was mature enough for him as well. Were they a match made in heaven? Somethings pointed in that direction, but we shall see.
Tango had never been so blunt before, but Alison brought it out in him. He liked it, he liked the fact that she was so open about her personality, that it made him open to anything. Well, anything involving her at least. It was harder for them to get together, because they were younger and he was kind of inexperienced, but he was willing to give it a shot. He had a few girlfriends before, but nothing really stuck, he never found someone he clicked with this well. "Welcome." he smiled at her, then blushed as she mentioned giving him a hug later. "I'd like that, actually." he said as he peered through the thermal once more.
Felicia felt more and more confident the more she was talking. And when Steve pointed out the figure of Scarlet to her, she was so proud that the entity had shown herself. She was glad she was paired with Steve, it was nice to have his presence around, it was more soothing than the ghosts. There were multiple and she could feel them all. They were drawn to her, which worried her, because there was a hostile male spirit around somewhere. If she came face to face with him, there might be some sort of problems.
She was counting and the K2 blinked at five, he blinked as well. "Five? That's a lot..." he said with a shake of his head, it was odd that they came upon five ghosts in one place. He wondered if the owner knew that there were three children, if not, they would soon. "So you really think this place is based on Stephen King's book now?" he whispered curious as to what she thought. He watched as something dashed by the thermal. "I had movement!" he said in an excited whisper.
Felicia couldn't believe it either, but then again she could feel the energy from her body, being drawn from her. Scarlet was using her energy, as well as projecting this negativity around her. Steve got a 4.5 hit on the EMF reader and she blinked. That was high, she knew that from watching the show. It was so painful the way this poor girl was feeling. "I'll be fine, promise, she's just so sad..." she said with a frown on her face. She closed her eyes when Steve wrapped an arm around her, she felt comforted with his touch. Just then, Scarlet giggled, audibly so. "She she... She said something about a man..." she said as rubbed the side of her head. Scarlet was talking to her.
"Yeah, there's stuff going all over the place. I think we've made contact with the kids." he nodded as another something dashed by the camera. It was so crazy. One of the camera guys even yelped as something brushed past him. "Hm?" he said as she asked for him to shine the thermal on her. "Woah, your temperature dropped, but there's nothing around you..." he said meaning faces, hands or anything of the like. "This is soo weird." he said, he was still amazed at all the activity they were getting.
Jay looked at the camera and noticed what Grant was talking about. "You're right, wow. How is it these girls brought out all the ghosts?" he said with a small chuckle. As Grant pointed out that this may be the most haunted place in the country, Jay had to agree, they haven't had this much activity ever. When Grant asked what was going on with Fe, he let out a small sigh, when Steve said that she was okay. "Remember Steve, if she gets overwhelmed get her out, she seems highly sensitive." he then paged the rest of the other people, "Everyone Felicia seems to be extra-sensitive to the entities here, if she's with you and seems faint get her out, we don't need one of our members crashing and burning tonight." he said sternly, but with a kindness as he was worried for her safety. "Copy." came the voice of Dustin over the walkie talkie, and then he heard Tango's "Copy" as well and nodded. Satisfied.
When his radio went off, she blinked and looked at him. Grant's voice came on and asked about them. She would be fine, her head was just spinning. Just as he went to put the radio back into his pocket, she gasped as the feeling was gone. "Grant scared her off." she whispered, as she heard an audible giggle again. "She's laughing at us...." Fe frowned and looked at Steve, she was indeed feeling better now. She heard Jay's voice over the radio and smiled, he was right, if she fainted it would be bad news. Fe leaned into Steve more, liking the feel of him against her. She didn't want to leave from his arm.
