Grant chuckled as he looked over at her. "No problem." He said with a grin over at her. He blinked surprised. He too wanted her and Alison to be part of the TAPS team. He knew that they would bring out only the best in all of them. He thought that very well. He grinned. "Well that might happen." Grant answered mysteriously towards her.
Steve did like her. But how can he show her that he really did like her? Even if he knew her for however long now? Steve checked his watch. Wow. Has it really been five hours? It was ten o'clock at night anyway. He yawned softly, not wanting to yawn again, or else it would ensue the yawn war. Hahah.
Alison liked Tango being so blunt before. But then again, she was so open because after a while, she didn't care about how others thought about her, though she would always care. But she knew that in order to make more friends, she would have to be open and outgoing. So she's trying to be as outgoing as she can. She grinned when he commented about liking that. "Oh I know you would." Alison teased him, giving him a wink, feeling more comfortable around him now.
Steve was so surprised that Scarlet was actually showing herself to both of them. He was shocked speechless. Usually Grant or Jason would be able to get the ghosts out of their hiding spots because of their alpha-male personalities, that basically commanded the ghosts to come out and talk. But Steve guessed Felicia's hypersensitive ability to talk with ghosts, as well as feel them help Scarlet to come out. That and maybe Scarlet is more comfortable around girls could help too.
Alison remembered one episode where there were six ghosts. However, those two were both marine places. One was the Wright-Pattinson Air Force, and the other was USS Hornet, a ship that was 900 ft long. "Well, I think that Stephen King based some of it here, and some of it there. But then again I never read the Shining or have seen the movie. I'm too much of a chicken to see the movie." Alison shrugged lightly as she watched the K2. Alison turned her head towards him. "Woah. Really?" She asked with excitement.
Steve looked at her worriedly. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked softly, not wanting her to faint or anything. That would not be good for anyone. Not for him because he would worry too much, and not for her because then her ghost hunting would be cut short. " Steve stilled when he heard a soft giggle. "Scarlet was that you when you giggled?" Steve asked curiously at the figure sitting in the rocking chair. The figure in the chair nodded soflty. Steve drew in a sharp breath. "Wow."
Alison blinked. "I wish I knew the names of the kids." She muttered to herself. She looked over at their cameramen surprised. She looked at herself. "Yeah I feel cold." Then the coldness left reluctantly, as if saying sorry. "Hey, I have a question for all four of you that are here. Yes. The man too. Can you press on the back of this flashlight to make it light up? We just need you guys to press on it." She said, as she took out her flashlight and showed how to work it. It was something that she saw Jason do a few times on the show and thought that was very interesting.
Grant shrugged with a grin over to Jason. "Beats me." He said wtih a nod. He also nodded. The other two places were they got nearly as much activity was the Wright-Pattinson Air Force, and the USS Hornet, where the team of TAPS got many activities on the thermal, video, and audio. And that was successful. "Well, they seem to make fine additions to the group." Grant said, sitting back, satisfied as well.
Steve nodded as he took the radio out. "Copy." He said into the radio, as he slipped the radio back into the pocket. He blinked as he looked over at Felicia with a frown. "Aw darn him." He said with a small laugh, not wanting to cuss on camera. Steve then heard the giggle again. "Scarlet, why are you laughing at us?" He asked curiously into the room, wanting to know why. He held a firm grip on Felicia, not wanting her to fall over.

Grant was a strange character, being so mysterious. But she didn't mind, it was funny.
Felicia didn't know of anyway to show Steve how much she liked him. Hug him? Too childish. Kiss him? Way too blunt for her tastes. Tell him? Hmm, not coy and cute enough. Hint at it? Men were never good with subtlety. She'd have to do something, maybe make him something. That might be too obvious as well. She sighed audibly and almost frowned, she didn't cause she didn't want Steve to think she was frowning at him. Five hours had passed and it was ten at night, she blinked, feeling slightly tired.
Tango had always been a little blunt his whole life, then again, he'd also been a bit of jokester as well. He liked making people laugh, it meant it was easier to talk to them. Ninety-eight percent of people who laughed during the first few seconds of a conversation, were likely to respond better to you. He didn't know where he got his percentages, but he read that somewhere. Probably a magazine of some sort. "Mhm." he winked back at her. At that, he chuckled thinking what the viewers would think when they saw the episode. It would probably be one of their best so far.
Felicia was glad that Scarlet showed herself to them, it was great coverage and the show might benefit from it as well. More viewers meant more money, right? She wasn't sure, but it wasn't about the money anyway. It was about the thrill of ghost hunting and the satisfaction you gave people when you proved to them, they weren't crazy and most ghosts meant no harm. Scarlet was having a grand old time on her rocking chair, giggling at them.
As she spoke about Stephen King, there was a reaction on the K2, it blinked. Just once, but it blinked. "Hey, I think the ghosts know what you're talking about." he nodded and pointed to the K2 as it lit up again. "Do you know who Stephen King is?" he asked and it blinked twice. "Woah..." he shook his head, too crazy. "I saw the movie, but it was too long for my tastes. Good, just really long." he said to basically answer the rhetorical question he knew was coming from Alison. "I'd be happy to watch it with you..." he added in an off-hand whisper, again being bold.
When he looked at her with a concerned expression, she could have kissed him. Fe nodded and smiled a little. "Yes, I'll be alright, she's using my energy to manifest..." she said with a small groan. Scarlet giggled and when asked if it was her, she nodded into the thermal, Fe blinked and looked at Scarlet, she could see her plain as day now. "Why are you giggling at us, Scarlet?" she asked with an amused tone, she got the feeling she knew, but she would rather Scarlet tell them.
He shrugged, and looked at Alison. "Me too, but I doubt we'll have time. We probably should be changing rooms anytime soon." he said looking at his watch, which glowed in the dark. He was thankful for that feature. He shone the thermal on her, and she was back to a normal temperature. "I think the ghost felt bad." he chuckled and did a quick sweep of the area, there was nothing out of the ordinary. He sighed a little, the ghosts seem to have gone. "Flashlight trick eh? I doubt they know what it is, you may want to ask for them to push on the little black object sitting in front of you." he nodded and smiled over at her.
Jay nodded in agreement, as he continued to watch the monitors. He looked over at Grant as he leaned back in his chair. "I think you're right. I like these girls." he smiled a bit, then looked down at his watch. "Time to switch it up, I'm itching to see if we can get some activity ourselves." he said as he looked at Grant, knowing that Grant was thinking the same thing.
Felicia shook her head, she knew she'd be fine. Scarlet departed with a final giggle, and Steve asked the same question she just had. Fe blinked as she felt something brush past her, she turned her head in that direction as the young woman smiled at her. "She... She's laughing because she knows something we don't." Felicia looked at Steve and bit her lip with a small shrug. "I have no clue what that means." Felicia did, Scarlet was giggling because she knew the attraction between Steve and Fe, the one that they were both oblivious to.
"Alright troops, time to switch it up. Dustin and Kris, take command central. Alison and Tango take the sixth floor, Fe and Steve down in the foyer slash dinning room. Grant and I will take the fifth floor." Jay called into the radio, and heard the three copy's he was looking for and nodded to Grant, as they exited the van.

Steve wasn't sure what to do with Felicia. How to approach her. He already has his arm around her. He frowned at Scarlet as she giggled again. Why did she think was so funny? He wondered to himself. He looked over at her and bit his lower lip. He wanted to kiss her so badly, but he wasn't sure how to go about it.
Alison wasn't usually this blunt ever. She liked being outgoing and making people laugh. But with her friends being partiers, they like to be outgoing at parties. However, Alison was very much a homebody and hated to go out to parties. She would rather like to be outgoing and play video games with her friends. Alison blushed when he winked at her again. She couldn't help it.
Steve grinned watching Scarlet. He was very happy that she was here. And that the ghosts were actually truly real, and this wasn't a hoax. Steve smiled at Felicia and looked over at her with a faint blush on his cheeks.
Alison blinked. "Wow." She whispered watched the K2 reader. The ghosts are pretty friendly. She tried to remember anything about what the owners said about the kids. But the owner said nothing about the kids. Only about the male ghost and Scarlett. Alison briefly wondered how Felicia and Steve were faring upstairs on the fifth floor. She nodded to Tango. She then blushed and smiled. "That would be fun." Alison said softly with a smile towards him.
Steve frowned. "Well, just tell me when you need to sit and relax." He said softly, not really wanting her to faint from the sheer exhaustion. Steve wasn't that tired; he was used to the whole staying up late, then going to sleep for about six to eight hours, and then back to the command center. But for tonight, they're actually going to sleep in the hotel at night, and use the conference room as the command center for the day. Usually they would be a hotel around the surrounding area, but the line of hotels that they use don't have one in New Paltz, so the owners are letting everyone sleep in the hotel.
Alison nodded as she felt getting warm again. "Awh. I'm sorry ghosties, since I dont' know your names." She said softly into the dark. She then nodded. "Okay, well if you guys press the back of this flashlight lightly, it'll light up. It's just another way to show us that you're still with us." She explained as she put the flashlight ont he floor, the button towards the middle of the room. She bit her lower lip as she watched. Alison gasped. "Did you see that?" She pointed to the flashlight. "Can you turn it on again?" She asked the ghosts. In a matter of seconds, the flashlight turned back on.
Grant nodded. "Me too. They bring a bit of fun to the investigation." Grant added with a grin, as he rolled down the sleeves on his windbreaker jacket. "Same." He nodded to Jay with a grin as he watched Jay call everyone on the radios. He started to get up and leave the van as soon as Dustin and Kris got outside. "Have fun you guys." Grant said in passing towards Kris and Dustin. "Be on the look out for anything abnormal." He added before walking into the hotel and heading up the stairs.
Steve frowned but nodded. He wasn't sure if she would be fine. He watched as Scarlet slowly started to disappear. Wow. That will be the best thermal catching that he has ever seen or witnessed. He knew that the owners would definitely be shocked and appreciated by looking at the clip. "Interesting. What don't we know Scarlet?" He asked, hopefully wondering if Scarlet will say what was so funny into the EVP. But he was doubtful if anything like that would happen. He had an inkling it was the attration between him and Fe, but he wasn't sure.
Alison looked over at Tango said copy. She frowned. "Well, ghosts, thank you for letting me speak with you." She took the flashlight back and gasped. "Wow. That's cold." She looked over at Tango, and slipped it into her windbreaker pocket, which was huge enough for her flashlight. She started to leave the reception room and headed toward the stairs. Ugh Stairs. Alison hated walking up stairs. "So, did you know that we're allowed to sleep here tonight?" Alison asked excitedly over to Tango. "Though I'm not sure what the sleeping arrangements are." She shrugged.

Felicia was just as unsure about what to do with Steve. He was already holding her, it wouldn't take much to just lean over and kiss him, then again, what if he pulled away? She doubted he would, but it was so hard to tell this early in the game. Fe could feel Scarlet in her head, giggling more. She knew that Fe and Steve liked each other, more than either would let on. She looked at him, and smiled a faint and woeful smile. A smile of longing.
Tango had never felt so alive and nervous in his life. He wondered what she thought of him, well most of it was obvious, but what she really thought of him. He half wished they had met under different circumstances, that way he could talk to her about something other than ghosts and haunted hotels. Learn more about her, what made her tick, and what she liked most. Her fears, her hopes, everything.
It was surreal the way Scarlet had appeared and sat there in front of the thermal camera for that long. Felicia was happy that she could bring out the spirits, although she was sure it had more to do with the place being crazy haunted. As she looked at Steve with her longing smile, he looked at her with a faint blush on his cheeks. She blushed back and looked away, shuffling her feet around.
"Wow is so right." he said, with a huge grin on his face. He looked around the place and tried to remember what the owners said about anything, but his mind was a complete blank. He just remembered the way he felt when Alison kissed his cheek, and the way she laughed. Focus David! Focus. He thought to himself as he looked over at Alison. She said she'd like to watch The Shining with him, and that made his smile grow. "Yeah, maybe some day soon?" he asked, then blinked at himself. Did he just ask her out? Yep, he pretty much did.
Felicia nodded to Steve. "I will, but I promise, I'll be fine." she said with a small sigh, she really wanted to show him she was fine. But that meant leaving his soft, yet firm grip around her waist. She wasn't all that tired, just a little dizzy from Scarlet. It happened almost everytime she came in contact with a ghost, it was annoying, but the feeling never lasted long. It was nice of the owners to let them stay in the hotel that night, sadly she doubted she'd get any sleep. Especially if Grant decided to make her and Steve bunk together... And with Scarlet roaming around, she'd be awake talking to the young woman most likely.
Tango laughed when she called them ghosties. "I don't think we could figure them out anyway... Too difficult there are a million possibilities for one person to be named." he nodded and sighed a bit as the thermal continued to come up empty. Just as he looked up from the thermal, the flashlight went off. He blinked and grinned, "wow..." he said in an awed tone of voice. Alison asked for them to turn it on again, and it flashed again! "Too cool." he smiled.
Jay smiled at Grant. "That they do, especially for Steve and Tango." he chuckled and shook his head. Jay made a funny! Grabbing his jacket, he pulled it on and watched as Grant agreed. Of course he would, they loved their job as much as anyone else did. When Dustin and Kris finally got down there, he was already outside, and nodded to what Grant said about watching for anything abnormal. "Enjoy." he shrugged and took Dustin's thermal from him, as he and Grant headed inside to the fifth floor.
Fe let out a small sigh and wriggled herself free form Steve's grasp. She stood up straight and tall, and didn't feel the least bit dizzy. The investigation was going great so far, and she liked the time she was spending with Steve. Just then Steve asked what it was they didn't know, she blinked and was about to tell him, when she thought better of it. Now Scarlet's presence was completely gone. "She's gone, I can't feel her near..." she sighed and looked at Steve again. The call to switch places rang over Steve's radio, and she shrugged. "Shall we then?" she tilted her head at Steve and took the EVP from the dresser and stopped the recording. She then stuffed it into her windbreaker pocket.
Tango nodded in agreement. "Yes, thank you very much for talking to us and showing us that you were here." he said as he got up from where he was and walked with Alison. "Really?" he asked about the flashlight, and did a quick sweep before she tucked it in her pocket. It was colder than normal, not that a flashlight had a normal temperature to begin with. As they got to the stairs, he looked up to see Fe and Steve walking down them. He sighed, he really didn't feel like climbing six flights of stairs, but it was boss's orders. "That I do remember.. Might be a little creepy with all the activity we're getting." he smiled. "Me either, I'm sure Grant and Jay will come up with something." he shrugged as well, as he did more thermal sweeping over the stairs.

Steve bit his lower lip as he watched Felicia. He could hear a small giggle from Felicia's side, and he knew that Scarlett must still be around. He still couldn't believe that Scarlett actually showed herself to him and Felicia. He looked over at her for a brief moment and smiled to himself. He really did like her.
Alison looked over at Tango. Sure, she was so happy that she met him, but also she wished that she met him by a brief chance. Even after watching a few episodes of Ghost Hunters in a row, Alison went to a hair salon, and one of the hair washers even looked like Tango. Alison was so gullible. But then again, it wasn't Tango. How sad. He really did look like him. She smiled over at Tango. She looked over at Tango and grinned again. "Yeah. That would be great." She agreed, giving him a blush. Did she just take his offer on a date? Why yes she did.
Steve frowned. "Are you sure?" He asked concernedly. He really didn't want her to faint or anything. He wondered how the whole sleeping arrangements would happen. And who he would be bunking with. Would he be bunking with Felicia? His heart thudded in his chest at the thought. Silly Steve, he shouldn't be thinking those thoughts at a time like this.
Alison shrugged with a smile. She couldn't help but to be childish a times. Even the whole Ghost Hunting thing sounds like a child's dream. She looked over at Tango and nodded. "Told you. What if we were together to stay in the same room at night? That would be fun." She commented offhandedly, with a wink towards him. Alison then got up as they started up the stairs. She frowned, feeling the oddness and the quietness of the staircase. She walked up the stairs next to Tango, not wanting to fall behind in the darkness, but at the same time not wanting to lead. She placed her hand on his arm, and tugged gently on his coat. "Is it bad that I'm a bit scared to go up to the sixth floor?" Alison leaned in to whisper to Tango.
Grant grinned. "How about for the sleeping arrangements, Tango and Alison, Steve and Felicia. Dustin and Kris, and you and me? I want to see how they all work well by living together." Grant suggested with a nod, as he took out his flashlight and walked up the stairs to the fifth floor. Inside the room Grant took his EVP. "Okay. Grant and Jason, Mohonk Mountain House, fifth floor room five one oh, October second, ten thirty." He said into the EVP as they started to survey the room.
Steve frowned slightly when she moved herself away from him. "You okay now?" He asked as she started to stand up straighter. She looked better at least. He nodded. "Well at least it was fun while it lasted." He said with a smile as he too got up from the stool that he was sitting upon. He smiled at her and kept the thermal on. He started off towards the door. "We shall." He said with a smile towards her, holding his hand out to her.

She could sense that Steve was happy with the investigation so far, and she was glad to be a part of it. It was going well, minus her dizzy spell. She hated getting dizzy when spirits would draw energy from her, but she couldn't help it she was just more prone to it than others. Scarlet was teasing them, she had an inkling that Steve liked her, but couldn't put it to words. She also really liked Steve. He made her heart flutter, unlike she had ever felt before.
Tango had gotten used to Alison now. And he really liked her, she was just so fun, and so different from most girls their age. It was rare to find someone who had their head in the right place, instead of all over or on one thing. He hated girls were dumb, or sluts. Sure they were easy, but where's the fun in easy? Half the fun of any game, is the chase. Win, lose, or draw, it's always about the chase. "Cool." he smiled looking at her, seemed as if they had a date. Well, to watch a scary movie, but hey it was better than no date. He grinned.
"Steve, I promise.." she giggled lightly at him and his concern. It was too adorable, she really wanted to wrap her arms around him or something... Maybe more? She blushed at the thought. It would be interesting if they bunked together, would she be able to contain herself? Or would she let all the pent up emotion she was feeling, loose? Ah well, Fe would soon find out when the investigation was over.
Tango looked at her, but kept the thermal aimed in front of them. "That would be fun. But just so you know, I get cranky without my sleep." he laughed and winked. Him, cranky? It was almost impossible, he was too much of an agreeable person to be cranky. Shrugging, he felt her grab his arm. Tango blinked and a small smirk appeared on his lips, he liked her touch, and he didn't mind that she was gripping his arm at all. "No, it's alright. There are times when even the best of us get spooked." he laughed and then turned to look at her. "I should know." he winked, and then turned to look around the stairs with his thermal.
Jay looked at Grant as he spoke about the sleeping arrangements. "I guess so, but are we sure that's a good idea? I mean... they are young and well in love." he said with a small chuckle. "It's only fair to say that something might go on in there, that doesn't involve sleeping." he said with a snort as Grant did the EVP work. He did a sweep the thermal and found nothing, sometimes he wished he could just predict where the spirits were and get them to come out straightaway. "Is there anybody with us? Scarlet, perhaps?"
Felicia didn't want to wriggle free, but she had to. She had to show Steve she was strong and would be alright, he was a bit of worrywart, but she liked that about him. Meant he cared. "Mhm, I will be fine fine." she smiled over at him. "Indeed. And it was nice meeting Miss Scarlet." she said in a sing-song tone, as she saw Steve offer his hand to her. She laced her fingers within his, and felt a sudden warmth in her stomach. His hands were so perfect, they fit well within hers. She nodded to him and bit her lower lip as they walked from the room, and down to the foyer/dinning room.

Steve smiled. He still didn't like that Felicia was feeling dizzy and he half wanted to just stop right then and there and tell her to go and rest. But then again, he couldn't do that. He wasn't her boyfriend. He wasn't her lover. He couldn't really tell her that he liked her, even after this one night of ghost hunting. That was just too soon, right? Steve didn't know.
Alison smiled over to Tango. She flicked her hair over her shoulder. She just got it cut. She loved her short hair. It reached just a few centimeters past her shoulders, with short layers framing her face, giving it an edgy yet cute look. She liked the game of cat and mouse. It gives it a longer duration of the prize. She looked at the room and smiled at it before ascending the stairs with Tango. 'Ah. A date with Tango. Can this night get any better?' She stopped as she clapped a hand over her mouth, the one that wasn't holding onto his arm. She just said that aloud. Whoops.
Steve watched Felicia with concern. He really didn't want her to get hurt at all. He didn't care who he bunked with. Though, if he bunked with Tango again, he wasn't sure if he can take Tango's snoring. He hoped that whoever was bunking with Tango is a deep sleeper. He smirked at that. "I hope you promise." He said teasingly with a grin over at her.
Alison nodded with a laugh. "You'll get sleep don't worry." She said with a grin over to him as well as a wink. Hah. It was too unbelievable to see him cranky. She would laugh a lot if she did see him cranky. But she knew that he would cheer up if she were to be there. Then Tango wouldn't be cranky anymore. Alison was just that good. Well, at least to him. ALison nodded as she leaned her head so it rested against his shoulder slightly. She couldn't help it. She was too affectionate for her own good. "I know. It just doesn't feel right up here." She whispered to Tango softly.
Grant looked over at Jay and shrugged, holding the EVP. "Well, they did just meet today. I doubt that anything would happen at night in those rooms, and not the paranormal kind. I would be surprised about that." Grant said when he followed Jay around the fifth floor room, five oh one. "I mean, they should just think of it as a sleepover. They're adults. We can't be their parents Jay. They have their own responsibilities." He said. Then Grant added, "Scarlet, can you please show yourself? We won't hurt you. The objects that we have won't hurt you. We just want to talk with you." Grant said, into the empty room, aside from him and Jason.
Steve nodded as he watched her walk around. "Ookay then Fe." He said with a soft chuckle over to her. He smiled at Scarlet. he couldn't believe that Scarlet let her show herself. He hoped that Grant and Jason will have as good of a investigation as he and Felicia did. He smiled even more as she laced her fingers through his. "And now onto the foyer." He said to her softly with a laugh as they walked down the stairs and landed in the foyer. "Well, I hear that there is a man here, along from three children, from Dustin and Alison." He called out into the room. "Don't worry, we won't hurt you. Neither will these objects that Felicia and I have. I'm Steve, by the way." He said to the empty room.

Felicia would be able to handle herself now that Scarlet decided not to take her energy for her appearance. It was a lot easier, when spirits manifested themselves using the energy from the objects around them, and not her. Yet, she couldn't help that, the spirits were always using her energy. Good thing she was on an investigation with Steve, without him, she may have fainted. He was such a gentle person, she adored him. It was hard to tell someone you just met, that you... loved them.
Tango hadn't known what she looked like before the haircut, Jay and Grant hadn't given them pictures or anything when they announced that there would be new members to the team. It was cool though, he liked how Alison's hair looked now. He looked around, thank goodness that they were next in command central, he could do with some mundane sitting and staring. It made life a little easier at times. Blinking, he looked over at her as she spoke aloud, he laughed and blushed. "I dunno, you tell me." he said with a small wiggle of his eyebrows.
Felicia couldn't help but want to squeeze Steve. Just take him in her arms and hold him forever, he was the type of guy that would let her too. So what was holding her back? Her fears, her stupid fears. She smiled when he smirked. "Yes, I do." she nodded and tapped his nose, in a teasing manner.
"I knoow." he laughed and smiled, "Just whoever I bunk with might not, according to Steve I snore." he shrugged and rolled his eyes. Tango still didn't believe Steve, but he'd take his word for it. "I don't believe him, but that's alright." he laughed and scanned the area with the thermal again. Still nothing, cept for something in the corner. It turned out to be a plugged in air freshener, he snorted. He yawned a bit as she rested her head on his shoulder, he looked at her blinking. "You're making me sleepy." he said with a small smile on his face. "Well don't worry, I won't let a mean ghost get ya." he winked and nuzzled her forehead with his nose.
Jay looked at Grant and shrugged as he did a sweep with the thermal. Something dashed in front of it. "Woah..." he said, then rewound the tape to see if he saw it again. He did! It was in the form of a person. "I got a person running in front of us." he nodded, then looked back at Grant as he spoke about the sleeping arrangements. "I guess you're right. I just worry, sometimes..." he said with a small laugh. He had kids of his own, and he was a worrywart, even if he didn't show it at times. He had to be the hard boss, but he still had a gentle side to him. "We just want to speak with you. Maybe you could move something for us?" he asked Scarlet.
He chuckled and she giggled a bit, Steve's laugh was somewhat contagious. The feelings boiling inside of her were, so spectacular, she didn't want this night to end. As they passed Jay and Grant on their way down, she nodded to them. She wished them well, but she was sure Scarlet would show herself for them, she was in a good mood now. Thanks to her and Steve. "Downward we go!" she smirked over at Steve, then pulled the EVP out, as they were reaching the bottom of the stairs. "Mmm, the man I'm worried about. Scarlet mentioned something of a rogue spirit..." Fe shuddered a bit, and hoped that the man wouldn't try anything. "The foyer, Steve and Felicia, ten thirty five pm. Would any spirits like to talk to us?" she said into the room, as she held out the EVP, for it to pick up something.

Steve didn't like when Grant told them about Felicia before he met her and how she would be a bit drained from the spirits drawing out her energy from her. He didn't like that fact that she would do that, but he had to let them in order for the TAPS crew to talk or even get along with the spirit that she is communicating with. He definitely thought that Felicia was cute, and definitely compassionate in what she does.
Alison knew that he didn't know what she looked like before her haircut, but she remembered briefly that she has photos of her and her friends on her cellular phone of her with longer hair. But she rather liked her shorter hair. It was easier to deal with when getting up for college classes in the morning. She was pretty happy that they were going to be in the command center. That means that the cameras will not be on them at that time. .She grinned at him when he wiggled his eyebrows at him, and boldly leaned in and placed a small kiss on his cheek. "I tell you, it's a date." She said before blushing again.
Steve blushed when she tapped his nose in a teasing matter. He chuckled softly. He held onto her hand, squeezing it tightly. He couldn't help but to hold onto her hand. He didn't want to stop holding her hand. It made him feel warm and tingly on the inside, as mushy as that sounds, he couldn't help but to feel his heart race pick up slightly.
Alison giggled. "Well how would you know? You're asleep when you snore silly." SHe said with a grin as they walked around the sixth floor. She turned on her EVP , and said softly, "Alison and Tango in the Mohonk Mountain House, October second two thousand and ten. It is one ay em in the foyer." She then giggled when he nuzzled his nose on her forehead. She blushed when he did that. "I'm sorry that I'm making you sleepy. We need to stay up!" She pumped her fist into the air, trying to stay awake. She grinned. "I'll keep you awake." She flirted, as she leaned in and kissed his cheek softly, very close to his lips. She then walked away to walk around and talk.
Grant sighed softly as he walked around. He then stopped hearing Jason go, "woah." He then walked quickly over to Jason. "What did you see?" He then blinked. "Woah that's freaky! Replay that!" Jason did what he said, and Grant ran his fingers through his hair. "Wow. We definitely have something here. It looks like a female-figure." He said as he looked over at Jason. He then chuckled. He had kids of his own as well. "I know you worry, you worrywart." Grant teased his best friend with a grin.
Steve smiled when she giggled after he laughed. Apparently, his laughing amuses her, or it's contagious. He smiled at her. Sadly, they had the last shift in the command center. And then they will go to sleep. He grinned at Jay and Grant and nodded to them as well. Steve frowned. "Didn't they say that the man was in the sixth floor?" He asked looking over at Felicia. He smiled. "I know that you guys were very talkative and responsive to Alison. I take it you like her?" He asked to the K2 reader. It flashed twice for yes. "Well, I'm Steve, and this is Felicia. She can talk to you more. She won't hurt you I promise." He said with a smile. He blinked as he used the thermal and walked around. He stopped, seeing three figures. "Holy cow." He whispered, his eyes wide. "Fe, can you start talking to them?" He asked softly looking at the thermal and then over at her.

She could tell Steve was always going to worry about her, and the way ghosts reacted to her. It wasn't her fault she was born this way, Felicia had had this power since she could remember. No matter what, the ghosts never really hurt her, except for once. It was a long time ago when visiting her grandparents house, she has scars all over her back from it. And her grandparents moved the day after it happened, no one had set foot in that house in Louisiana since.
Today had been a good day so far for Tango. He was glad that he hadn't taken the night off, Jay had offered and bob knows, he needed it. But he was glad he hadn't, he wouldn't have met Alison. That was the best part. She made his day so full of light and fun, that he was no longer worried about other things. Or the fact that his mother was coming to visit him, at his apartment in a week's time. He was not looking forward to it, he loved his mother. It was just that she was somewhat of a pain and would always harp at him for not having a conventional job, or decent girlfriend. Tango really didn't want to hear that from her, but she was who she was. "Alright. It's a date." he said faking an Italian mafioso accent. He winked at her.
Fe smiled as he smiled at her. He was too adorable, and the way his hand was so warm and inviting, she shivered with pleasure. It was so wonderful being here, just like she had pictured, holding Steve's hand. It was ever better than she imagined actually, because she was actually living it. She walked closer to him, she liked the feeling of him next to her.
"I know that! I just don't think I do..." he shrugged and laughed, it was a fun conversation. As she turned on the EVP, he looked around the sixth floor, there was nothing to the naked eye. And still the thermal came up empty, he sighed and slumped a little bit. It was somewhat disappointing when ghosts didn't appear right away, like they did down below. "Psst, we're not in the foyer anymore..." he whispered to Alison. He blundered at times too, it was an honest mistake. He grinned and shrugged, it was okay that he was getting sleepy, he could stay awake and focus, even when sleepy. "Alright!" Tango fist pumped as well and blushed again when she kissed his cheek. "Too right you will." he laughed and watched her walk off. Blinking, he scanned the area with thermal again.
Jay watched as Grant walked over, at the sound of his woah. He smiled and rewound it for him, showing him the figure of what appeared to be a woman just rushing past the small screen. Jay replayed it again for Grant to really see, then paused the figure for him. "It does, and she just rushed past us. Amazing.." he said turning it back on and scanning the area again. "Another! Look, right there." he said as something warm was sitting on the bed, only a few feet from them. Jay smirked and nodded to his comment about being a worrywart.
As they were laughing, she noticed his sounded like a hearty laugh. And hers was slightly musical, together they made a nice sound. She smiled, it had been a long time since she'd been in choir, and she missed it. Fe was kind of sad that they had the last shift at command center, it meant more walking. Not that she minded too much, it would just be nice to sit and veg for a few moments. "I think you're right. Ah well, whatever then." she shrugged it off, with a small smile in place. "Wow..." she whispered when the K2 meter flashed. When Steve kept talking, she set the EVP down on the table. Then looked at him, when he said 'holy cow', "What is it?" she asked, curiously, he told her to talk to the children. "Sure, kids? Would you like to play a game with me?" she smiled. She had done this trick before. "I several things in my pockets, I'm going to pull one thing out and ask questions about it. This thing in front of me blinks, if you remember? Yes, alright." she said and fumbled through her windbreaker.

Steve frowned as he looked over at her. He couldn't help but to wrry about her. The ghosts can be dangerous. After all, you never know of their power. They are literally, the unknown. The unknown to the naked eye, the way that the ghosts can take your energy away and use it for their own purposes, to how they can warn you through the EVPs. They are the unknown.
Alison smiled at Tango. She was so happy that she met Tango this day. She couldn't believe how far she has gotten with her ghost hunting. She blushed at the thought of seeing him again and then again and again. She would become closer with him soon because they're going to be in close contact because they're in the same team. "Good. I wouldn't have it any other way." She responded backk with a smile over to him.
Steve smiled at her. He felt like that he had to protect her from anything that his coming her way. She looked fragile too, even though he knew that she knew that she wasn't. She smiled even more when she stayed close by from him. Steve chuckled softly at a passing thought.
"Uh huh suuure." She grinned at Tango with a teasing wink. "Again, you wouldn't know because you're asleep." She added with a laugh. She then sighed softly. "I know that there is a man here by the name of Thatcher Jacobson...?" She asked, holding the EVP in her hand. She then set it down on the middle of the hallway. They really couldn't do much up there. There wasn't an assigned room to go into on the sixth floor. It was just said that the male rogue spirit likes to walk up and down the hallways. That was it. She looked over at Tango and grinned. "I know." She teased back in soft tones with a grin on her face. She giggled as she got up, holding the K2 reader in one hand, and the other a flashlight. She frowned as she walked away from Tango. "Dang it's eerie over here." She muttered. She then turned around and walked back. "Nevermind, I'm not going that way yet." She said with a sheepish smile to him.
Grant blinked. "Wow that's freaky. So trippy." He said surprised as he watched the tape again. He shook his head as he looked over at the bed and saw a small indent, as if someone is sitting there. How the bed dips in. "Oh wow. Jay, do you see that?" He walked over quickly, the cameramen following. "Look at this." He points to the indent of the bed, the cameramen following Grant's index finger to show the bed. They got it on camera. "Scarlet is this you?" He asked, holding the K2 reader in one hand, the flashlight in the other. He had placed the EVP on the desk beside the bed earlier. He heard a giggle. Grant pulled back away, surprised. "Jay did you hear that?" He asked, excitement in his voice.
Steve too noticed their laugh. It did make a great sound in his opinion. He sighed softly as he did realize that they had a bit of time before they were in the command center. He ran his fingers through his short dark brown hair and smiled over at Felicia. He nodded, as he held the thermal, watching the three figures, and looked over at the K2 reader. Steve didn't even pay attention to his cameramen. They had about three guys with camera, with one guy with the sound. One guy was focused on him. The other on Felicia, and the last one on her and the K2 reader in the same shot. The K2 flashed again twice for yes, waiting to play the same. Steve chuckled as he watched the three children sit down on the other side of the K2 reader, but right near Felicia. "Do you feel a bit cold Fe? Because they're right infront of you." He said with a wide grin on his face.

Ghosts were scary in general, but usually she could tell when one was hostile and wanted to hurt someone else, which may help the investigation. Usually ghosts targeted one person to be their main obsession, for some reason. Whether it was the way they looked, spoke, or did something to set the ghost off. It was possible that the ghost would try and possess her as well, which was a terrible thought, but she knew that she could control it, as long as it wasn't a demonic spirit. Steve had a good reason to worry, Fe did too. Ghosts were the unknown.
For some strange reason, he had a song stuck in his head. Why was he thinking about music, in a time like this? Tango had no idea, but he was sure it had something to do with Alison. He hadn't listened to this song in a while, and he was sure that it was she who brought it out in him. He was soon humming, inside his head, the song by The Calling featuring Santana on the guitar. It was called, Wherever You Will Go. It was an oldtime favorite of his, but it was still a good song. He looked at her, and smiled. "Me either." he nodded firmly, as if ending the conversation, not that it needed ending, there was no argument.
Felicia wasn't in any sense fragile, but there was somethings she wouldn't mind being protected from. Plus, Steve looked like he could use a bit of saving, himself. Mainly from spiders and silly things like that, but it made sense that she wouldn't be afraid of small things, and he would. Somehow they balanced each other out, it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
Tango frowned at her for a moment, then smiled. "Mhm.. Too right you are." he nodded again, and shrugged off the conversation of snoring. He really didn't care if he did or not, what did it matter to him? He blinked when she spoke Thatcher's name. Something flew past the thermal camera. "Alison, I think I have something." he whispered rewinding the tape, and pausing it to the thing the fluttered past. It was the shape of a man. "Woah, say his name again..." he nodded and looked at her. He laughed when she teased him, and then paid attention back to the thermal. Alison was walking back and forth, and he laughed at her. "Make up your mind, would you?" he said standing towards the center, and sweeping the area with the thermal.
Jay nodded and smiled a bit. He was happy he caught something on the thermal, it was nice to get some hardcore evidence of ghosts, made more believers of people. "Huh? Yeah, I got it on thermal, it's warmer where the indent is." he said pointing to the camera. It was about a few degrees warmer than the rest of the bed, where he flashed the thermal. He was doing a quick sweep of the room, when Grant was talking and someone giggled. "I did hear that, what the hell was that?" he said turning to Grant how looked just as stunned as he did. "If that was you, Scarlet, could you do that again?" he asked, hoping to get a response.
It was a grand sound, and she would've loved to recreate it, or at least record it so she could hear it again. She silently wondered if Dustin and Kris were having as good a time, as they were. Probably not, but it was probably pretty nice to sit and just stare at a few cameras. She eyed the K2 when it flashed twice, that they wanted to play, a smile played on her lips as she fumbled through her pockets. She always kept candy, a figure of something, and her keys. She shivered slightly, as the children moved closer. "Yes I am a little, but it's okay kids, I'll be fine." she nodded looking in the area where they were standing. She blinked as they spoke to her, they all told her their names. "Benjamin, William and Victoria, nice to meet you." she nodded and set the a figurine of a German Shepard in front of them. "Is this the figure of a dog?" the K2 blinked twice, she smiled, "Does the dog look happy?" again the K2 blinked twice. "Do you like the dog?" once more, the same response, she looked over at Steve grinning from ear to ear.

Steve shuddered as he thought about the ghosts. Well he wasn't afraid of them like how he was afraid of his phobias, i.e. planes, flying, bugs, spiders, bats. But not ghosts. He didn't want Felicia to be possessed. That would be a scary sight to see, and he might have a heart attack if he were to see that happen to the girl that he liked. He wasn't that faint of the heart, but you never know, it might happen. Especially with him.
Alison had a different song in her mind, even though he had the song from the Calling. She had another song called Crush from David Archuleta. She loved his song and it matched her feelings to Tango perfectly. She had no idea if he really wanted to be with her, or was it just a crush? Alison didn't know, but she surely wanted to find out. She giggled when he nodded to her, as if ending the conversation. Even though it was just the subject of their conversation.
Steve was a bit of a scaredy cat in some cases. Sure, he looked big and threatening if you looked at him from far away, but close up, he just looked like a big teddy bear. Hah. Kind of reminded him of that character from that teen novel book called Twilight, where one of the vampires was called Emmett, and was big and threatening but in actuality he was just a big teddy bear and loved to laugh. Much like him. How he knew about Twilight? Heck, he would be surprised if people didn't know about that book-turned-movie.
Alison giggled at his answer to her comment. Well, she didn't care if she heard him snoring. She would most likely be asleep at that point as well. She blinked. "Really?" She whispered back, walking back over to look at the screen. "Woah! Rewind that please?" She asked, and she watched it again, her eyes widening. "Thatcher are you here?" She asked, placing the K2 reader down on a desk inbetween two doors to guest rooms. The K2 reader did nothing. She walked over to it and pointed to it. "See this? This object wont hurt you. If you wave your foot or oyur hand infront of it, it'll just show that you're here. It's just a way of me communicating with you, Thatcher." Alison said calmly, reassuringly, caringly, even though her insides were convulsing with excitement. "To answer, make this reader flash twice for yes, once for no. So, I again I say, are you here Thatcher?" The K2 then flashed twice.
Grant blinked. "Wow. Weird, right?" He asked, though excited at the same time about this. He was more than happy. He was ecstatic. Then he can prove to the skeptics out there that there are ghosts but they mean no harm to you unless you find yourself with a very bad intelligent spirit. This spirit however, is an intelligent and she seems to be capable of laughing at everyone. Grant smiled at the indent. "Why are you giggling Scarlet?" He asked goodnaturedly, happy that he didn't have provoke the spirit at all. Scarlet nodded, giggling again, thinking about the other couple that was in her room before her. She knew that they had a thing for each other. She even said what she thought of Steve and Fe into the EVP, knowing that they wouldn't hear her another way.
Steve sood watching Felicia and the three spirits. He was ecstatic as well to find so much activity at this one spot. In fact, it was the most activity that he has ever seen in his whole career as a Ghost Hunter. He blinked as she said their names. Wow. This was interesting. Steve watched as they nodded for each answer and one boy would wave his hand over the K2 reader twice, and then the next kid would answer for them. They were taking turns to talk with her, how interesting. "You're amazing Fe," He whispered softly to her, a smile on his face. "Do you guys like to play hide and seek?" He asked curiously. Knowing kids, they probably do.

Fe had never been possessed before, and she wasn't hoping she'd get the experience. It didn't sound pleasant at all, plus she didn't really believe in anything religious, so that meant she might be pretty screwed if a priest came to help her. She wouldn't want that experience and something told her, that the man on the sixth floor wasn't too friendly. Plus, Scarlet had mentioned a thing or two about him to her.
Tango was almost dancing to the tune in his head, and he had never heard of that David kid. Well, he had, he knew he was on American Idol, but he never listened to the crap the masses voted on. Sure, some idols were good, like Chris Daughtry, but he just wasn't into all the hype that most were. He had more than a crush on Alison, but was it too sudden to say anything? He wasn't sure, he had never had the rush of emotion he had given her in a lifetime. And yet it was crammed into just a couple of hours, it was thrilling and scary at the same time.
Felicia caught herself thinking about Steve a lot that night. She loved the fact that he was only a head taller, any more so and she might have been intimidated. Luckily, he was the perfect size for her, and she fit well into his arms. Err, arm. He was the type of guy who worked well with her personality as well, she could get so tense and uptight about things, and he was calm and gentle. Probably really patient as well, which she loved. Fe was patient as well, but it always helped when someone else was patient as well. His age didn't bother her, she had the adult mindset. She was planning on making a family by the time she was in her mid twenties, in her prime. And that was just a few years from now, so she needed to get on it, so to speak.
He hoped he didn't snore, but Steve was an honest guy, so he probably did. He snorted at the thought, hopefully Alison was a heavy sleeper. That was if they were staying in the same room? When she walked over, he rewound it for her and pointed at the man-like shape fleeting past the screen. He blinked and turned the thermal back on, and did another sweep of the area. He wondered if Dusty and Kris had any luck up here? He shone the thermal in the direction of the K2 and gasped, there he was. Thatcher, just standing there in front of it, he looked at Alison again and whispered to her. "Hey, he's standing right there, in front of the K2." he said with a grin on his face.
Jay nodded in agreement, "Definitely on the list of weird things." he said as he looked through the thermal. Scarlet was a very responsive ghost, it was good to have one who actually responded to questions and make some noises other than creaking doors and pounding on objects. Jay blinked, and shook his head. "Unbelievable... Grant, she's leaning into the EVP and whispering to it." he said motioning for him to come and look at the thermal. There was a woman's figure leaning over the desk and into the EVP. It was incredible. "This place is spectacular." he nodded.
It wasn't the first time she had a run in with children. Children were the best and saddest spirits of all, because no child should die at a young age. It always made her heart cry out for them, if only there was a way she could hug them. Sadly, there had been no bridge built to have that kind of contact. When Steve mentioned she was amazing, she blinked and looked over at him with a small smile on her lips. "So are you..." she whispered, then looked back at where the children were. Steve asked about hide and seek, and the K2 went crazy. "I take that as a yes." she giggled a bit, "Alright, I'm going to hide the dog if you could find it for me and bring it back, I'd appreciate it." she smiled and walked out of the room, into the other and set the dog behind a curtain, then came back into the room with Steve. "I'll count to ten and then you can go look for it, okay? Ready? One, two, three, four..."

Steve didn't want her to get possessed either. Heck, he would be downright scared for his own life and for hers if she were to be possessed. Okay, he has to stop thinking about it, for they might come true. Steve was a bit of a supertitious person as well. Not as much as a true phobic person, but he had his share of fears. He looked over at Felicia and gave her a smile again. He couldn't help but to smile even more than usual around her.
Alison was somewhat of an American Idol girl. It depended on the season. Like the first few were great. Then in the middle she didn't know anything or anyone, since she was more into her middle school and high school work and then in her senior year of high school, she started to watch American Idol again. With two Davids. One David was in his mid to late twenties. The other: seventeen. The seventeen year old was the one that she had a crush on. Sadly, the boy is mormon and wouldn't go out with a Jewish girl. Also, she never met him in person. But safe to say, she liked Tango more than any other guy in the world. And that was scary to say aloud.
Steve really liked Felicia more than any girl that he has ever gone out with. He noticed that she was a head shorter. If she was shorter than that, it would have been a bit awkward. He lobed that he could hold her in his arms and feel like that he is protecting her from the world, even when they both knew that he was the one that needed the protecting. He did have the calm and soothing personality, while he can calm her down when she is in hysterics. Hopefully, he'll never see her when she goes into hysterics. He wasn't sure if the age gap between them was intimidating for her or not. He did want to start a family. He just never found the right girl. But then again, maybe he did. He looked over at Felicia with another smile as she spoke with the children ghosts.
Alison didn't care that he snored. She knew that she was a heavy sleeper, unless she goes to bed at night really late and he's asleep. Then that would be a problem. Her heart raced when he showed her the thermal of hte body of a man. But then again, her heart was racing for two different reasons. One, was because of the whole talking to Thatcher situation. The other, was because she was standing so close to Tango at the moment. She stood for a moment blinked turning her head to look over at him. "Woah really?" She grinned at him as she walked right on over and sat on the desk. "So, Thatcher, would you mind telling me why you're here? You know that this isn't your hotel anymore, right?" She asked gently, not wanting to make the male spirit angry. She held the EVP in her hand so that he can talk. She shivered at the coldness that she felt on her knee. Alison blinked confused. Why was her knee cold? "Hey Tango, can you uh put the thermal on me again?" She asked, feeling the cold slide higher onto her thigh instead. Alison turned to narrow her eyes at the emptyness where Thatcher is. My god. This ghost is a pervert.
Grant smiled as he looked over at Jay. "Wow. Really?" He kept the EVP where it was and walked on over to where Jay stood with the thermal imaging camera. "Wow. Can you rewind it?" He watched the small monitor as the figure in the monitor promptly started to lean over and looked like she was whispering into it, with a very audible giggle at the end. Grant ran his fingers through his hair. "That's amazing. Have we ever gotten this much activity before?" He asked Jay with a wry grin. Remind himself to congratulate Fe and Alison for picking this hotel to investigate.
Steve smiled even more when she responded back with a so are you. Why was he amazing? All he did was be a technical producer of a television show that tries to talk with Ghosts. That's all Steve did. He smiled seeing the K2. The kids looked excited on the thermal. He was surprised that the children had so much energy that they would stay in one place for so long was unbelievable. He watched as she counted up to ten and then the three spirit energies disappeared. He felt a cold brush behind him and shivered as he turned his thermal camera as he moved around to find out where they had left. He went to where she put the small dog toy into the other room, and watched as three spirits were looking everywhere until one found it and picked it up and Steve went back into the reception hall room to watch the spirits come back in. He felt a cold breeze brush against his hip and a bit of his side and he chuckled softly, knowing it was one of the children spirits. He turned the thermal to the side to show a small face looking up at him with what it appeared to be a smile.
