“You haven’t figured out what’s wrong with her? She’s getting worse! You have been here for over four months poking and sticking her and giving her medications that aren’t working. Pack your things, you are fired, the money that was given to you is to be given back as the said contract that you signed says. You are a lousy doctor!” The man who was yelling was clearly angry at a little old man who’s hair was in a frizzy white mess. The man was trying to sputter out that he would find out what was wrong with this man’s daughter. “I’m not going to let you wait and try to figure out what is wrong, I’ve done that already I want someone who can do their job right. Get out of my house.”
The man that had been yelling at the old doctor made his way up the grand stairway of his house and down the hall opening a door. If you were to just take in the room, you would see that it had the finest of everything. It smelt of soft roses, would welcome you when you opened the door. The queen sized bed done up in a veil to drape the posts, The bedding was blue silk(Of course there was medical reasons behind the silk) that seemed to matched the walls. No carpet, just beautiful dark hardwood. And windows. Lots of windows with bay seats. It was a cozy looking room full of warmth .
The man made his way over to the rather pale looking girl in bed. “You got rid of Mr. Davis.” It wasn’t really a question but a statement. The man just slowly nodded. “Daddy…you can’t keep firing people, the more doctors you bring in the more they have to start over.” She said closing her book. “You should be more patient.” She said softly.
Emily Gartenburge was ill. Then again she had always been ill at school too, it just never got this bad. Her father tried everything from silk sheets to be able to say no germs could hid in the fabric, to hard wood so it was easier to clean daily. It pained him to see his only child so ill. Doctor after doctor had come to her to try to figure out what was wrong. Each one promised more and more money and each one had failed. It had gone like this for over four years now. Yes she had been in the hospital but Emily grew tired of being in the gloomy place and told her father to bring her home and he did.
Tim Gartenburge, her father, talked with her until she grew tired which wasn’t very long before he went to his office and pulled out his books. It was time to hire another doctor. After a while of doing research he came across a young man. He seemed to have a history, but still if there was a chance his daughter could be better he was going to take it. So he took out is quill and began to write. Dear Mr.Lawson, it has come to my attention that you may be one of the better doctors in town. i would like for you to come and see my daughter. money is no issue. my daughter has been ill for some years now and i refuse to sit back and watch her die. your boarding, and other needs will be given. many other doctors have failed in making her better and have come up short on what is wrong with her. for more history and information pray you, to come in and talk with me. if you are able to make her well assure you, you will be well taken care of. i hope to hear from you as soon as possible. Timothy Gartenburge
He went to the window and tied the letter to the owls leg and then let the owl go watching him fly out of sight. All that was left to do now was wait, hope and pray that this doctor would finally be able to make his little girl well again.

Hank Lawson quits.
Well he lied. He was fired.
Yay for trying to save two lives and then failing and only being able to save one life, and that was not a benefactor to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Of course. It was in Hank's fiber of self to let the old benefactor to die. Sarcasm sarcasm.
After that, Hank and his brother Evan and his physican assitant Divya are now all working together. Hank doesn't want it to become a business, but Evan took it into his own hands for it to become a bigger business with the wealthier side of the wizarding world.
And now that Hank has established himself by formally having Boris Kuester von Jurgens-Ratenicz, a very welathy German nobleman, is now allowed to have outside business with other wealthy people. However, this time, Hank wasn't so sure how long he will be gone from Boris's amazing guest house that he and Evan have been graciously living in.
Hank sighed as he sat around on the couch, watching the telly. Evan was looking over business stats from his former clients. Today was a relatively relaxing day, considering Hank only goes when he is on call or when he has an appointment. He didn't have any appointment or on call, as of it.
Tink Tink.
"Hmm?" Hank looked up distractedly as Evan was typing furiously away on the small muggle laptop. He looked over to see an owl on the perch of the window, holding a letter. Hank got up with a small groan and walked over, opening the window and taking the letter from the owl. Hank unrolled the parchment and read, " Dear Mr.Lawson, it has come to my attention that you may be one of the better doctors in town. i would like for you to come and see my daughter. money is no issue. my daughter has been ill for some years now and i refuse to sit back and watch her die. your boarding, and other needs will be given. many other doctors have failed in making her better and have come up short on what is wrong with her. for more history and information pray you, to come in and talk with me. if you are able to make her well assure you, you will be well taken care of. i hope to hear from you as soon as possible. Timothy Gartenburge"
"Hey Evan. Look at this." Hank said, walking over to his younger brother, who looked up briefly, then snatched the paper away from Hank. Evan read the document over and over, before looking up at Hank. "Dude, do you know who this is?" Evan exclaimed, his eyes widening with excitement. Hank shook his head. "Sorry, no." Hank shrugged. Hank wasn't all about how famous these people are. He just wanted to help them.
"Timothy Gartenburge is one of the wealthiest men of London. Aside from Boris of course. He owns like a lot of t he businesses in Diagon Alley and in Hogsmeade, as well as other businesses in other parts of the wizarding world in America and Europe. You need to write back." Evan said, gettng up and pushing Hank to a chair and getting him the necessary equipment. Hank sighed. "You know that means I won't be cooking for you anymore, until this girl's better." Hank warned. Evan shrugged. "I'll get Divya to live with me." Evan easily responded with a grin.
Hank sighed and started to write,
Dear Mr. Gartenburg, I'm interested as to how ill she is, and how she became this way. If you think that I am the best suited doctor for her, then I will come and live with you and help her get cured. Please tell me when it is alright for me to head over, Mr. H. Lawson.
Hank rolled it up and tied it to the owl who flew away with Hank's answer.

Timothy paced a bit as he tried to think of other doctors that might be interested and would be qualified to be around his daughter that much should Mr. Lawson decline. His mind was distracted though when the soft tap from the owl on the window was heard. He quickly opened the window and let the owl swoop in to drop the letter. His mind was quickly put at ease when he read the letter. He went back to his desk and sat down to send a reply back to him.
Mr. Lawson I wish that I could give you all the information that you needed however, what we know about the illness is slim, therefore why we are in need of a different doctor. Because of the constant care that my daughter needs, and the abrupt leaving of the other doctor as soon as you are available you are most welcome to come. Naturally when you come you will be briefed on what we do know and you will be able to exam her as you like. Thank you for agreeing. Timothy Garthenburge.
He rolled up the letter and quickly sent the owl out again. After all this was an urgent matter. This was his daughter’s health. After that he made his way up to his daughters room again and smiled a little at her telling her the news of the new doctor who would be coming. Although Emily was not so thrilled.
“Another doctor?” she said softly. “That means more exams Father, why can’t you just accept the fact that I’m just not going to get well?” Although she didn’t expect an answer she looked out the window and sighed a little bit. “I will be pleased to meet him.” She said slowly. Yes, she was raised to be a proper lady and that meant having manners. She gave him a weak smile as he left before she shook her head looking towards her caring maid.
Anna, was this woman’s name. Anna had been with Emily for as long as she can remember. Their rooms were attatched. Anna always helped when she fell extremely ill, and since there was no way that her father was going to let a young man sleep so close to a very weakened Emily, Anna always had a watchful eye and ear so that things never got out of hand. It was their safety net you could say. To Emily, Anna was her only friend the only person right now she confided in one hundred percent.
“I’m not looking forward to the poking and prodding again from anew doctor as he runs the same tests over that the other hundred before him has done.” She said with a deep sigh. “But I suppose there is always that chance he’ll find something the others didn’t. She said as she looked back down at her book.

Hank sighed as he sat back down on the couch, thinking. What kind of illness would she have? He guessed that she couldn't be outside much, so that was a symptom. The other is that since she's never outside, she would be more pale, so that would be a Vitamin D deficiency, with whatever she has. He couldn't really tell as to where this was going, but Hank hoped that he would be able to make her cured or at least treat to a certain degree what she has. Hank got up when he heard another tinking of glass, and saw the owl with another parchment.
"What's it say now?" Evan asked not looking over at Hank, typing away on his laptop. "Dunno." Hank murmured before opening the parchment and reading. He nodded, reading. "Well, I'll see you later then, Ev. Be good." Hank said, patting Evan on the head who grumbled.
Hank quickly scribbled a note back.
Dear Mr. Garthenburge, I'll be there soon by floo network. -Hank Lawson
And with that, Hank went to his room, packing quickly and went back to the main living room's fireplace. He picked up the floo powder and stepped into the "not working" fireplace. "Garthenburge Mansion!" He called out, and with a woosh, Hank left by floo powder. After a few seconds of whirling around, he came out of the fireplace already walking out. There was a man standing in the living room, awaiting his arrival. "Hi. I'm Hank." Hank said with a smile, as he moved his messy brown hair from his face, as his dark brown eyes took in the mansion's living room.

The next owl came back quickly and Timothy was able to quickly gather up his people to greet, and to insure that everything was clean for Mr. Lawson’s arrival. He smiled as the green flame appeared and then a man stepped forward. “Hello Hank, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Timothy, but please call me Tim.” He said shaking Hank’s hand firmly. “You have no idea how grateful I am for you coming so quickly.” He said with a smile leading him through the house now.
“I’m sure it will take you a few weeks to really know this house, but please make yourself comfortable, as of right now this is your home. He said leading him through a grand sitting room. “Emily normally stays up stairs. Once in a while if it’s a good day she’ll roam around the house, and if it’s a really good day she’ll go out to the gardens.” He said walking up the stairs. “She does have a few waiting maids, so I’m sure you’ll get to know them.” He said with a nod. It wasn’t long when he opened a door for him.
The room was nice, queen bed, bay windows, desk, bookshelves. Anything a doctor might need. “This is your room. Emily is eight doors down to the left.” He said with a nod. “I expect your presence around my daughter will always be professional.” He said with a nod. “If you need anything at all just let me know and I’ll pick it up or give you the funds to go get it.
He started walking again and knocked on the eighth door down. “Emily?” He asked softly before he opened the door. She was sitting at her bay window now. She smiled a little bit. She was pale, her dark hair made her look even paler. “This is Mr. Henry, Or Hank, Lawson. Hank my daughter Emily.”
Emily closed her book and slowly pushed herself up to shake his hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you. I do hope you last a little longer than the other doctors.” She said glancing at her father with a smirk. She slowly sat down in the chair by the fireplace. It was a bad day. She was going in and out of being tired and short of breath today. She didn’t want to over do it.

Hank smiled as the man stepped forward and held out his hand towards him. "Nice to meet you Tim." He said steadily, though still unsure. This man did seem very nice, no matter how rich he was. He nodded. "It's no problem, really. This is what I do." He said with a smile towards the man, as he followed him through the large house. He nodded.
"I will make myself acquainted with everything in the house sir." Hank said with a smile as they walked through the grand sitting room, and nodded. "I will get to know them." He said softly, as he walked up to the second floor of the house. It was very large. Hank didn't know when he would figure out this whole house. He looked at the room and took out his charmed suitcases from his pockets and put them on his bed. He took out his wand and with a small spell, the suitcases enlarged until they stopped to their normal size.
"It will be professional, sir, I can assure you that." Hank said seriously, looking at the man. He followed to the door that was eight doors down from where he resided. He looked over to see a woman at the windowsill, reading. He nodded as he shook her hand gently. She was pretty. Though she did look too pale. He blinked when she said so. He chuckled. "Well I can figure a few things out about you just from looking at you." He watched as she sat down by the fireplace.
"Mind if I run a scan over you?" He asked, taking his wand out from his sleeve. He wanted to figure out what she had. Hank was, the most competent doctor, aside from Healer House from St Mungos.

Emily gave a weak smile to him and then looked at her father. Her father seemed rather proud of this find. No doubt she had told him he was the best doctor. He had said that to each and every one. She knew that the tests and scans were coming again. They all had their own thing that they liked to do. So it was no surprise when he asked for his. She wouldn’t want him working blindly any ways.
“Not at all.” She said slowly standing. She felt weak. She looked at this new doctor. He was handsome she had to give it to him. He was young though. Her father was running out of options. Her father was desperate to make her better. She cleared her throat and watched as her father left the room. She looked back at Hank and gave a weak smile. “I do wish you all the luck and I want you to be paid well, So when you are done and have gotten your fill of trying to figure me out please come see me whenmy father fires you and I’ll be sure you get the rest of your money.” She said with a small smile.
When that funny look came to his face as it did with all the doctors she looked away. “I’ve been sick since before Hogwarts, I’ve been to healers, and hospitals, I don’t expect you to find anything my father on the other hand does, he wont accept the fact that I’m sick by nature.” She said softly. “Your hired to try, I’ll pay you what he doesn’t to insure you have gotten your money’s worth.” She said with a nod.
She hated the fact that her father got fed up with doctors and fired them and left them with out a cent to their name after everything they had done for her. Therefore she paid them under the table when their time was done. It made her feel a little better about the situation. She was sure the doctor was just as frustrated as both her and her father were.
She looked away from him trying to control her breathing. She was having a hard time catching it. When her maid stood quickly she put her hand up and the maid slowly sank back down. It was probably a bad idea though because soon after that Emily’s world went black on her and she collapsed. No one ever said this job wasn’t going to be interesting.
