Caitlin Cooke was a sweetheart. The only reason why she was in Slytherin was because her whole family was in Slytherin because they were all ambitious. It made sense, since her parents were CEOs of a big muggle technological corporation, and sadly, they wanted her to be in an arranged marriage to be betrothed to a man who is the son of a different technological coporation, and also a wizard. However, he was a Ravenclaw. Unlike her house. Thank goodness.
"Cait, you know you want me." Thomas growled as he stared down at the petite blonde pixie. Caitlin glared at him. "No. I don't. Stop thinking that just because you're my fiance," Caitlin spat out, hating the word fiance, "that you own me and that I want you. News flash: I hate you, you disgusting pig." Caitlin said as they stood in the Hallway of Hogwarts, during the middle of a sunny Saturday, while most students were outside on the grounds. Caitlin started to walk away during Thomas's mid-mind-numb.
Whip! Grab! Cailtin stared back at him, appalled that he was gripping her wrist. "You're mine. And I will have you." Thomas sneered, as he glared down at her. Caitlin narrowed her eyes back. "I am NOT yours." Cailtin pulled her wrist back as he grinned, holding onto her wrist tigther. "Get off of me!" Caitlin screeched as she tried to whip her hand away from him. Thomas chuckled. "You're hott when you're mad." Thomas said, moving closer to her, making Caitlin move away from him.
Shit.
Caitlin hit the castle wall gently, as Thomas loomed over her. Damn, This is not her idea of a passionate kiss against the castle wall. She wanted a passionate kiss, with her one true and only love. She didn't want this. Caitlin struggled against Thomas, thinking that she was paralyzed with fear and panicking as Thomas slowly slipped a hand on the underside of her shirt as he kissed her cheek slowly.
"HELP PLEASE!"
Caitlin shouted, hoping someone can help her. She didn't want to be taken here. Not here...not now...

"Kyle don't do it. Just let it go." Katie said as she tried to keep Kyle from going over to a Slytherin and well....beating the shit out of him. As if that were possible. When Kyle had his mind on something, he'd do it. Now, don't think that Kyle is just this violent beast that doesn't have any self-control for that wasn't true. Kyle had loads of self-control. He just chose good times to use it and when not to use it. This moment, was one where he acted as if he didn't have any. Besides, the boy couldn't lie and say that he didn't enjoy fighting. It was practically in his blood. It made him feel like a man. It made him feel like he was worth something.
"I would let if go if the Slytherin's learned not to talk about other's mums." That was the issue. Kyle hadn't even known his mum before she was out of the story. Normally, he wouldn't be upset with it. She...well..died of natural reasons. It was all just an accident and he knew that. Maybe the reasons didn't make sense to some people, but to Kyle they did...and he knew they happened every now and then. It just so happened that he was one of the unlucky ones that it had happened to. He stopped when Katie tugged on his shoulder and made him spin around.
Thank God she did. For when she did, he saw a male pushing a girl into the castle behind Katie. Not that Katie would be happy that there was another reason for Kyle to get wilded up. She was his best friend and felt like she needed to protect him, which annoyed everything out of Kyle. He didn't need protecting...he was the superhero. He was the one to save people...not the other way around. Kyle muttered an excuse me to Katie before walking past her and over to the couple where the girl was now screaming from.
"Excuse me." Kyle said practically throwing the boy off of the girl. Talk about your entrances. Kyle was a tough cookie, and he knew it. He looked at the boy. "Do we have a problem here because it sure looks like you were just violating this girl over there." Kyle looked over at the girl on the wall and then back over at the boy. Before the boy could even answer...
Bam.
A punch to the face. Kyle didn't need an answer. And sure, it wasn't really the "wizard" way to do things, but nothing brought a message across the same way as a punch to the face to talk someone down to size.

Thomas growled as he looked over at a boy who had just ripped him from Caitlin. "Who are you-" Bam. And Thomas was on the ground, howling about his nose. Thomas got his wand out, fixing his nose with a simple spell and he was up, his nose swollen, and a death glare towards the other boy. "Well well well. If it isn't Kyle Hyatt. The one about his mum." Thomas didn't need to answer. He just grinned, and then looked back over at Caitlin and grabbed her arm, making her wince. "Come on babe, let's go."
Caitlin struggled again against his arm. "I don't want to go with you, you disgusting animal!" Caitlin shrieked, making Thomas wince. Caitlin was small, But she was fiesty. Even if she had no muscle mass on here. She was only five feet tall, and only weighed a hundred pounds. If someone wanted a real life tinkerbell, that is who Caitlin was in real life. Blonde, fiesty, and tiny as hell. But it made her all the more adorable. Caitlin went on her tip-toes and slapped him, making Thomas stumble in shock.
Thomas stared at her before glaring and charging towards her, making her scream loudly before whipping out her wand. "YOU BETTER NOT-!" Caitlin screamed before realizing he was on the ground again, and that Kyle Hyatt looming over him. Caitlin's eyes widened. This time, Thomas was out.

His mum. That really got Kyle fuming. He would have thrown another punch if it weren't for the fact that the way that bloke grabbed the girl's arm, well the boy would fall again and twist the girl's arm in the process. That was not what Kyle wasn't to accomplish with all of this. He never wanted to hurt a girl ever. How this bloke could do it was beyond him. It was disgusting in ways that Kyle didn't even know possible. The girl though....she struggled. She obviously did not want to be around this fellow and she even vocalized it. What was up with that asshole? Kyle was trying to figure it out. There had to be some reason why he was so possessive over this fragile girl.
Right as the man charged towards her, Kyle found his chance...and the bloke was down. Kyle looked over at the girl and moved his hand back and forth. That punch was a hard one. "Come on...." He said to her calmly. It wasn't really an order. If she wanted to protest she could. "I just...would prefer us not be here when he wakes up." Kyle explained so she didn't feel as if he were trying to take her away like that boy had been trying to do. Kyle put his hand in his pocket and just looked at her. Just an awkward introduction but it happened sometimes.
He smiled lightly at her and took a step backwards. "it's your choice really." he nodded lightly and looked over at Katie was running up to them. "Kyle....Caitlin? Is everythin....um....what's goin...." Katie tried to talk but the words were all coming out right. "Are you alright Caitlin?" Katie asked as she walked in front of Kyle who was backing up easily out of the picture.

Caitlin hated Thomas. Beyond all reason. She had to get out of that arranged marriage. She had to get rid of him. She couldn't deal with the fact that she would be Missus Thomas Brigade. No. No way in HELL would she ever be Missus Thomas Brigade. Caitlin stared at the boy who was so possessive over her, but not in a good way. In a creepy way. In a very bad way. In not a way that she wanted a boy to be possessive over her.
She blinked when he looked over at her. She blinked when he told her to come on and leave him there. But she knew that he would tell on Kyle. Kyle was in her year, and Caitlin was good study buddies with Katie as well. She knew of Kyle, somewhat acquaintances with him. Considering this school was so small. Everyone knew each other somehow. And everyone knew of their "arranged marriage". Caitlin wanted to cry. She hated this predicament. She hated her parents for making her do this.
"Y-yeh I'm fine...I think." Caitlin rubbed her arm, her pouty lips forming into a small frown. She looked down at Thomas. "Remember my arranged fiance? He's now out-cold." Caitlin said, pointing to him. Katie and Caitlin had bonded since their names were pretty similar and they have been in Potions, Charms, and Transfigurations together. So they knew each other. However, she never really talked with Kyle. She was too shy around him.
It wasn't that he was an intimating guy. It was just that, he was good looking, a tough cookie, and nice. He was her knight in shining armour. And she didn't realize that he would actually save her from someone. Caitlin walked over to Kyle, farther away from her arranged fiance and smiled at Kyle. "Thank you Kyle." Caitlin said softly, a small blush on her cheeks as she looked up at him, before looking away. Gosh he was so tall next to her.

Katie's attention turned down to Thomas. Katie hated that boy before she knew about all this arranged stuff. Thomas just had a history of being abusive and possessive. Which is why this shouldn't really surprise her, but she had hoped the best for Caitlin. Was that so hard? Was that wrong? Kyle knew almost nothing about Caitlin's situation. He hated gossip so he wouldn't let Katie fill him in with anything that was going on in the school. Really, he liked to be left out of things. Which was good in his mind.
"You poor thing." Katie said looking at Caitlin's arms. She was going to have a bruise. That made her sigh mentally and look over at Kyle, who had stolen Caitlin's interest. That wasn't surprising. Although they were best friends Katie wasn't stupid. Kyle was good looking. She knew that. Every girl in the school knew that. She also knew that Kyle was a sweet heart. He wanted to be a girl's knight in shining armour...which made girls like him even more. Katie didn't see him in that light though. Which made them even better friends. It was a nice change for Kyle, and Katie tried to look out of him...if he'd ever let her.
"It's no problem." Kyle said with a small nod. He smiled when he saw her blush. As tough as Kyle might look, he was a sucker for a blush. He smiled and looked over at Katie to ask for a name. She mouthed Caitlin and he nodded. "Want me to fix that Caitlin?" Kyle asked as he took out his wand. "Don't worry. I've taken some classes on healing." he nodded lightly and smiled at her brightly.

Practically everyone knew about Thomas. Even his last girlfriend had to move to the States to get away from t his boy. And oh no. Now he's her fiance? Great. Caitlin didn't want to be his. No way. No how. She hated being in the spotlight because of shit that Thomas does, or the fact that she was in an arranged marriage. Most people are used to the idea, those who are very well off. And so, Caitlin is now thinking of running away from home. Caitlin didn't care at this time, if she were to be disowned for rejecting Thomas.
Caitlin huffed when Katie looked at her arms. Yeh. If she wanted sympathy, she would show Katie her back. Her wrist and upper arm were nothing compared to that. She smiled at Kyle shyly. A bit afraid of him. Her eyes widened as he moved closer to her, taking a wand out. "N-no. It's alright. I'm fine." Caitlin stammered, moving back from Kyle, and closer to Katie.
Sure, she knew that Kyle was a sweet guy. But at the same time, she was a bit afraid. If he were to punch a guy, why wouldn't he stop on punching a girl? Caitlin didn't want to be in the same situation again. She just wanted to have a pure, true love. Not the kind of love where her parents are marrying her off without her consent, or the arranged fiance who is possessive over her without any reason to be. Caitlin scuffled over to Katie, before looking at Kyle a bit shamefaced. She really shouldn't be feeling this.
But she just couldn't help it.

Kyle was surprised by the way she acted towards him. He was left speechless really. "Um." Kyle said looking from her to Katie. Slowly, Kyle put his wand back in his pocket where it once was. "Alright." He said not going to force her into anything. Kyle would never force a girl into anything. He was too much of a gentleman to do any of that. That didn't mean that he didn't think she needed to be healed. Surely she did. Kyle wasn't stupid. But he wasn't stupid enough to heal her against her wishes either. He would just be sure to tell Katie to take her to the hospital wing later.
He gave Katie a little look as it to ask what was wrong with him. Katie just shrugged and looked over at Caitlin. "He's an ass Caitlin. " She said referring to Thomas of course. "You best be happy that Kyle doesn't listen to gossip or else that boy would be off at some hospital."
"What Gossip?" Kyle asked growing interested. If it had to do with Caitlin being hurt, well he wanted to know. "What's going on?" Kyle asked again. "Well it's nothing now Kyle. You're just a tad too late." Katie answered him and turned her attention back to Caitlin.
((Sorry for the shortage in length.))

Caitlin looked over at Kyle who slowly put his wand away. Good. She visibly relaxed. Thomas was pretty brutal. But luckily he was in a different house than she, so Caitlin can relax at her own room, away from Thomas. She felt bad, making him feel bad. She knew that all he wanted to do was help her, but something inside her kept saying that all guys are just the same. They'll hurt her. Even though Caitlin was desperately trying to get away from that thought. She knew that she needed to heal. But she didn't want to. They were like battle scars, something to prove that she can get past Thomas.
"I know." Caitlin said softly. "I'm surprised he doesn't know though. And I wish he was at some hospital." Caitlin added, as she rolled down her over-sized cardigan over a light green t-shirt to cover her arm again. She wore simple jeans and black converse sneakers. Of course, on the weekends, the students were allowed to wear normal clothing instead of their uniform.
Caitlin looked over at Katie. "Katie. He should know. He did save me after all." Caitlin said softly, before looking over at Kyle. She took a deep breath before looking straight at him. "Now, I'm going to say this once, and that will be it. It will be fast because I want to get it over with." Caitlin said, before taking another shuddering deep breath and starting to talk. "My family owns a big technology corporation called Kony. They own many devices, and invent new devices and even a music recording label. They only have me as their child. I was a miracle baby, and they have tried to groom me to be next in line to get the company. I don't want the company, I wanna own my own coffee shop and have local bands play there. However, my family has been friends with Thomas's family, and their corporation called the Plum, where they make muggle computers and such. I have known him all my life, and ever since we were little he has harassed me. Then when I was fifteen and a half, my parents told me that I will be married to Thomas when I turn eighteen. From then on, he continued to be posessive over me, and at times when I did something he didn't like, he would abuse me. Mostly by wand, at other times by hand. He never got far in the sexual area, and I don't want him to ever. So I wanna disinherit myself from my family, take my money that my grandparents gave me in my own vault, move out of my house and out of this arranged marriage."
Caitlin huffed, surprised that she even spilled her idea of wanting to disown herself from her family and move away. Though everyone knew that she wanted to make her own coffee shop. Because Thomas started to really harass her when they were together, she was a bright, lively girl, who loved laughing and having a good clean time. Now, she felt helpless, and shy all of a sudden. She wanted to be protected, not harassed.

Kyle looked back and forth between the two girls. He was going to go mad if they didn't tell him. For a moment, he didn't think they were going to but then...Caitlin worked in his favor. Katie did a small sigh. It was obvious that she didn't want her friend to know. She knew how Kyle would react to all of it. The super knight in him would take over...and then...well who knew what was going to happen then. She nodded though. It was true. Caitlin was right. There was no denying that fact. Kyle deserved to know. "Thank you." he muttered when Caitlin was the one that vocalized it.
He nodded and listened to her story. Really, it left him speechless. but then something snapped and he looked past them at the boy on the ground. He took a step forward but Katie stepped in front of him and put her hand on his chest. "No." she said strictly as if she were speaking to a dog. "No Kyle." She said again. "He was going to..." Kyle wasn't even able to finish he thought. "Men like that are.." He couldn't finish a sentence for he was so mad. "Kyle. Number one rule...never kick a man while he's down. Thomas is going to be down for hours...getting him now will only make you feel worse." Katie said with a raise of her eyebrow.
She was right. Of course Katie was right. Kyle nodded and looked over at Caitlin. "I'm so sorry. For everything you have to go through. No girl should have to go through that. Thomas is just....he's just....disgusting." Kyle said with a small sigh. He looked back and forth between the two girls. "You should go rest." he told Caitlin. "Katie will you go with her?" he asked in such a cute way that there was no way that Katie could ever say no to him, let alone any girl.

Caitlin thought that he should know. After all, he did save her. It was only right. He could have made it worse if he didn't know what was going on. What if Thomas and Caitlin were just acting out a scene from a play? Well, it was ludicrous of a thought, but just that what if? And then Kyle came in and BAM! Thomas is on the floor, for something that was just pretend. Again, what if. But that wasn't the case, so Caitlin felt grateful for what he had done. Even though Katie wasn't liking the thought of Caitlin telling him.
Caitlin bit her lower lip gently as she watched Kyle took a step closer to Thomas, but Katie stopped him, like a owner would to a dog. She blinked as she thought. "I know he is." Caitlin voiced, her voice laced with disgust. She was disgusted with herself as well. For how long she put up with Thomas's bullying. She felt horrible. She knew that she couldn't turn to her parents. They would call her a liar and that Thomas is such a sweet boy, an angel. Caitlin couldn't go to her friends, they had enough drama on their plates to help her with her drama.
All she wanted was someone to hold her and keep her away from all bad things. But how could she want someone who could harm her just like Thomas did? Caitlin loathed Thomas, for what he has done to her psychologically and physically. How is she now going to find her prince? How? She bit her lip gently, before looking away from Kyle, over at a portrait that was watching interestedly. "It's alright. He is scum." Caitlin said. She blinked as she heard him telling her that she needed rest.
"I don't need rest Kyle." Caitlin's voice was loud and clear. And she had a inner-thought that Kyle was going to do something to Thomas. And no matter how much Thomas deserved it, she couldn't help but to think t hat Kyle should leave the area with them as well. "I'm fine. Really." Caitlin said with a small smile to both of them. All she wanted was a comforting hug, and someone to tell her that she will be alright.
