From the day that she had been born Claire Jenson had been thrown into the spot light. Her parents being famous wizards and all. Her mother had been a famous lawyer for wizards to her father on the ministry, and had soared through the ranks and was now head of the head in this ministry. Money. Ha, that was never an issue. She had always gotten what she had wanted. It was more of that, 'we are busy here take it' moments in her life.
Still her parents did love her. And as busy as they were they tried to make time. It was just never enough for Claire. The other kids got to have family vacations, where as Claire spent most of the time with the governess and at Hogwarts to get her studies done. Most of the time her studies were private, since mommy and daddy funded alot for Hogwarts.
As Claire grew older she learned the meaning of fake. Those hours of fake smiles with the other families who came over for tea. She spent alot of her time on her own in the big house just looking at the old paintings.
Claire by no means was 'simple' She was very well rounded. She could speak 3 different languages, she knew her studies like the back of her hand, She was musical and artistic. When she was 18 her paintings were sold and bought for high prices.
Still as she rounded her 20th birthday she begged her parents to let her move out. She wanted to be free. And see what it was like to just go out on her own and enjoy life. Her father said no. There was no way that she was going to move out with out being married and being taken care of.
She stopped painting that day as she sank into sadness. She started sneaking out more just to have a feel of something real. Her parents and her started fighting more as they pushed men on her and each time she would find something wrong with them. Now at the age of 24 she was in her father's office at work yelling at him about moving out again.
"I'm twenty-four Dad. I-I can't be cooped up any more!"
"Your not cooped up love, your out all the time, you have billions of people taking your photo every day."
"It's not the same..." she muttered.
With a heavy sigh her father saw that he wasn't going to win this, Her mother and him had talked about this for weeks and had been interviewing body guards for her. After all they just wanted her safe.
"Your mother and I have been talking about this for quite some time, we have decided that you are right, however you not going to be alone, you will have a body guard."
The moment of Joy came and went so quickly she wasn't sure if she even smiled. "A...Body guard?" she said shaking her head frowning as she heard the soild knock on the door.

Gabriel De Gillern. Gabe. Just Gabe. He was 30 with a terrible sense of intuition and a habit of smoking a lot of cigarettes. He sighed as he held a piece of paper in his hand with the address for the Whitmore mansion. Ugh. How did he find himself in this business again? Oh right. Right out of Hogwarts this Ravenclaw found himself in Knock Turn Alley. Some guy came up to him while he was looking about this artifacts shop.
Flash back....
"You sir."
Gabe looked up, aged 17 at this time, about to touch a vintage looking small black box. A man with steely blue eyes, and a dark mark on his arm stared him back. "What are the likes of you doing here?" The man gravelly said, with narrowed eyes towards him. "I'm allowed to be here just as much as you." Gabe said with enough authority made the steely blue-eyed man question his abilities.
That man, was no real Death Eater. He was an inside man for the Order of the Phoenix. Sure, Voldemort is dead, Harry Potter has retired and is relaxing with his lovely three kids, but this man, William VanHelm was definitely a great mentor. He helped young Gabe into the art of manipulation, seduction, information-gathering, and all for the good side. William mentored Gabe and Gabe knew he wanted to protect people. He liked the feeling of "playing hero". And years went on, and Gabe protected many prestigeous muggle and wizarding families and celebrities.
Gabe, clad in only a worn-in leather jacket, a white t-shirt, and dirtied blue jeans, with a carried rucksack magically charmed to fit into his pocket, and normal grey sneakers. Sure, he doesn't look the part of a stereotypical bodyguard. But he was the best of the best. He sighed as he walked up to the mansion and got let in by one of Mister Jenson's many maids. He was led to the office door and he knocked three times and stopped.
Mister Jenson got up from his seat in the office and opened the door. "Gabriel! So good to see you come on a such short notice!" Mister Jenson said with a smile. Gabe blinked at Mister Jenson and smiled. "No problem. I'm happy to help." He said with a slight smirk on his face as he shook Mister Jenson's hand. "Just call me Gabe." Gabe added with a smile. He raised an eyebrow towards the young woman at the window. Gabe knew that was his protected. Protected means the one who is being protected. Unlike Gabe, who is the protector, who protects the protected. In other words, she's his client. He smiled. "I'm guessing this is Claire?" He asked, a rough/raspyness to his voice, but loud enough to become authoritative when needed. Mister Jenson nodded. "Claire come here." Her father ordered her.

Claire made a face as this man walked in. Her father gave that 'fake happiness' then turned to her and told her to step foward. Claire rolled her eyes a bit and stepped up. Her blonde curls falling softly around her. Her icey blue eyes looked over him.
He didn't seem like anything special. She gave a look to her father and then gave a sharp irritated smile to Gabe. "I'm sorry there is a misunderstanding here.." she said dryly. "I think I'm old enough to take care of myself." she said sharply to her father.
He didn't seem to care. This was how it was going to be. And that was that. She argued with her father for a moment but when he told her to take it or leave it Claire had no choice but to take it. She stormed out of her father's office towards her room. Fantastic. Wonderful. Unbelieveable! She would be out on her own but now she would be watched like a hawk.
Still. She was greatful. Her mother had picked out a nice little house for her and she was able to leave that night. As soon as she got in the car with him she looked at him. "Look, " she said a bit coldly. "You just stay out of my way and I'll keep your job easy." she said looking out the window.

Gabe knew that she would be unimpressed. Sure his tactics may seem....immoral.....to some extent, but he does have his client's best interests at heart. Which would be their safety. Nothing else. Just to know that they are away from any harm to them, makes him a pretty happy man...even if he doesn't broadly show it on his face. He smiled at the minister. He was a nice man. He had conversing him through owl-ing as well as William Vanhelm who told the minister in his retiring stage that Gabe was the best at his job. No one else was as good as Gabe.
"Nice to meet you Claire."
Gabe could tell that this girl was thrust into the celebrity world, but desperately wanted her freedom. She seemed to be close with her parents as she was younger due to the photos on the walls in the mansion. But as she gotten older, she seemed more distant. Detached from them, due to her wanting her own freedom. He knew that she would be a handle, with her determination to be free, and Gabe's duty to keep her safe.
Yes. Gabe was that intuitive that by just looking at her he could tell all of those things. He smirked as he shook her hand, a firm, manly handshake. But not strong enough to hurt her hand. As well, he needed to have her help to hide.
Gabe watched as he shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans as he watched the interaction between the minister and his daughter. He watched with a small smile. Gabe missed his parents. They lived in the States in Florida for retirement. He didn't mind, he was only 30. He was used to being alone, and has been since he was 23. He should give them a call after this mission was over.
He looked over at her when she told hin to stay out of the way. He looked over at her again and raised an eyebrow. "You do know that the reason why I'm here is to be with you. I won't say anything if you don't want me to, but if we're outside of the house, I will be with you." Gabe responded back with a tone that meant that he had a bite with his bark. "My job is to keep you safe." Gabe added, as he took out his lighter from his jacket to grab his cancer stick.

Claire gave him a look. She would just have to show him. Just because she was a girl didn't mean she didn't know how to give people the slip. She was good at that, in fact it was something she was very proud of. She had, had body guards before. When they were out in public. She smirked a bit and rolled her eyes. She had given them all the slip at least once. Kept them on their toes. A lot of the time they were so busy watching her and the people around her that they didn't even realize the simple little things that she would be setting up for herself to slip away.
The smoke never bothered her. Her mother smoked. She was known to have one once in a blue moon when she was so stressed, or at a party. She let out a great sigh watching the world fly by. When the limousine finally pulled to a stop she smiled contently looking up at the house. It was much bigger then she needed, but hey, that's what mommy and daddy's money was for wasn't it? She left her bags, for the driver to take in. Her work? Carry anything, no never that's what the help was for right? They got paid for a reason.
She looked back at Gabe and made a face. She would really have to make him quit. She was going to drive him insane. She smirked a bit to herself and sighed a bit. It was nice to have her own house. And now that she was free, she was truly going to go out and enjoy her new found freedom.
She wasted no time she changed into an outfit, cute yet a little more open then daddy would like. She went to into town and was already annoyed by Gabe following. She turned sharply and glared. "Look, tell him you quit and I'll pay you whatever you want." she said firmly. "I can take care of my self just because my parents don't think I can doesn't mean I can't...just...go away, and I'll just say your still at my side and I'll keep paying you okay?"
Who wouldn't take that deal? Get paid for not working? For just going away and still get the money you needed? Claire thought it was a good idea. After all. Her father had taught her self defense rather well, and she didn't need some big oaf following her around.

Gabe looked at her when she gave him a look. Gabe chuckled underneath his breath before giving a long drag of his cancer stick. "Whatever you say." He said with a smirk. He wasn't an oaf that'll follow her around. Well, he would be following her around, just to make sure that she doesn't leave him in the dust. Unbeknowest to her, he had very good intuition and very good observation skills to know when she'll give him the slip and slip away.
They found themselves back at the mansion, and Gabe did feel bad that he couldn't help the butlers and maids that came outside from inside Claire's new mansion to take his bags to his room and her bags to her room. He watched as he followed her into the house and checked out his room. It was nice. Dark green walls, dark wood for dressers and armoire and bed posts. It looked luxurious, and Gabe felt a bit out of place. But he wouldn't tell Claire that. Of course, Gabe lived in a studio apartment when he wasn't on missions.
He watched as she left her room in a more revealing outfit than what she was wearing earlier that day. He knew that she was going to make him quit. Psh. As if she could. He's pretty laid back with stuff. But keeping his client safe, he is all over that. He is pretty authoritative, and dominant, and he knew that she would go crazy because of that. Soon, he found himself in town with her, following her as she walked about the one street. Gabe snorted. "You really think that I was going to say yes and take the money and run?" Gabe asked in amusement, a raised eyebrow towards her. He crossed his arms infront of his leather jacket clad-chest and shrugged. "Continue doing what you're doing, I'll just stand by and watch." Gabe said easily.

Claire made a face. So he was really into his job. It was clear that she was not going to just get rid of him like that. She pressed her lips together. "Well, it would have been nice if you did." she said before turning and walking just a little further down the street to a little club. As soon as she opened the door it was insanely loud and crowded.
She made her way towards the bar and had a seat ordering herself a nice tall drink. It didn't take long for the first guy to come up to her and buy her another drink. She glanced over at Gabe and then turned her attention back to the guy before she got bored with him and ignored him. She seemed to be having at least a some what good time.
She soon left the bar stool a little more tipsy then she thought. She laughed a bit and steadied herself. She walked towards the bathroom and looked at Gabe. "I'm going to pee..." she said rolling her eyes. She walked into the bathroom and smirked as she saw the exit door and stepped out side for both fresh air, and to see if she could make him panic a bit.

Gabe chuckled when she made a face. Sure, it was the early evening and he didn't realize that she was leading him to a club. Of course. He sighed as hse showed his ID before being led in as well. He looked over at her. "You know I'm not leaving you." Gabe said as he sat a few seats away from her.
He himself ordered a firewhiskey. Of course, he was allowed to drink. He had enough toleration to drink about 9 firewhiskeys before passing out. A normal man can only withstand 4 firewhiskeys. He looked over at her as he watched her talk with another man and then watched as the man left dejectedly.
Gabe raised an eyebrow as she made her way to the bathroom. He nodded. But inside, was pretty suspicious. He finished his firewhiskey and left the money on the counter and he made his way to the male's bathroom which was right next to the women's. He saw the exit for the fresh air and pushed the door open to see Claire outside. He smirked. "Tag you're it." He said cockily.
Gabe knew that she would try to get away from him at the first chance she can get.

Claire was leaning against a wall. Letting the cool air hit her. She closed her eyes and smiled a bit to herself. Then she heard that voice. She jumped a little and looked at him and rolled her eyes. She pressed her lips together and sighed greatly. "Well, seems that I couldn't pull the wool over your eyes. " she said She was too giddy to even care.
She started walking down the ally way one hand on the wall to keep herself steady. She stopped slowly to take off the heals that she was wearing. "I hope your ready.." she said a little more slurred then she would have liked. "I'm going to make you do this every night." she said harshly.
She sighed a bit "Isn't there something that I can do?" she said talking...well more like rambling to him. "My father can't control me forever..I'm twenty four. When do I get to make my own life decision with out my parents involved?" she said weaving a bit in the side walk. She smiled as a man rounded the corner. "Teddy!" she said with a giggle. Teddy grinned a bit and looked at her pulling her into a hug.
"Hello Claire..." He didn't pay any attention to Gabe. He knew she was drunk and that she could easily be talked into any thing. "Why don't you just come back to my place? He said with a chuckle.
Claire laughed a little and nodded. "Okay.." she said with a smirk as he tugged her a bit letting his hands rest at her waist.

Gabe crossed his arms infront of himself. "I'm guessing not." He countered back with a smirk. He snorted as she said so."Alright." He said with a short laugh. He watched as she took off her heels so that it was easier for her to walk. He knew that he would have to use force if he needed to to get her back to her own place.
And in one piece.
He watched as she rambled about how her father can't control her life and that she's twenty-four and she wasn't to make her own life decision without her parents involved. He stayed near her to make sure that she didn't get into the street. He blinked as he noticed a man walking over to her and hugging this Teddy.
He narrowed his eyes at teddy. "No way Buddy." Gabe growled, his voice taking on an authoritative voice. He roughly moved Teddy's arms away from Claire's waist. Teddy's eyes widened as Claire was brought back over to Gabe. "Dude, what the fuck. Let me have my fun with her." Teddy asked, very soberly, I might add.
Gabe narrowed his eyes more. "Don't make me have to use force against you." Gabe warned. Teddy blinked at Gabe and snorted, but had a small feeling that this Gabe was a lot more powerful than he thought.
(gah dunno what to do with teddy. xD)

Both Claire and Teddy gave Gabe the glare of death. Claire turned to him and frowned poking a finger in his chest. "Now you look here! " she said slurred. "I can go with Teddy if I want to, I'm not a minor, and your just supposed to be in the back ground." she said rolling her eyes grabbing him to support herself. "So there!" She said walking towards Teddy again. "And don't you touch me again!" she said to Gabe before turning her attention back to Teddy. "So shall we go?" She asked with a giggle.
Teddy smirked a bit as she told this guy off. " You have no say in who and who she can't see.." He said a bit more aggressive now. He wrapped his arm around her waist smirking a bit at her. "I think we shall" He said giving a look to Gabe as if to say 'yeah I'm going to have fun' He looked at Gabe and chuckled a bit walking a bit towards him. [i} "You know the best part of it? She wont remember a thing in the morning..[/i] He said smuggly.
Claire's world was starting to spin as the alcohol hit her harder and harder. She came to a bit when Teddy let out a yelp and held his nose that was now dripping blood. Claire let out a soft scream. "Teddy! A-are you insane?! " She asked turning to Gabe. Teddy had, had enough for one night and stumbled off mumbling something about his nose.
Claire looked at Gabe half falling over herself leaning on a light post to keep herself from falling over. "You can't just go around breaking people's noses!" she said closing her eyes trying not to see two of him. She groaned a little "Ugh, it's bad enough to see one of you, now I see two." she said slowly That last drink had put her over the edge. "Bed sounded so inviting, why did you have to go and scare Teddy away!?"
((Sorry I had internet problems I'm going to bed now, but I'll be on tomorrow! I look forward to making this rp even more intresting as the rp goes on!))

Gabe was unfazed by both of their glares. Tch. Youngin's. He snorted. "I know you're not a minor." He replied easily. He raised both eyebrows when he felt her hand holding onto him before walking over to Teddy. He sighed and crossed his arms infrontof his chest as he watched the two interact. Gabe really wanted to let her go and have her 'fun' with Teddy, but he knew deep down in his heart that it would be wrong for him to let Teddy get away with that.
He rolls his eyes. "I may not. Her father does." Gabe said with a smirk. He narrrowed his eyes even further when Teddy told him that she won't remember a thing in the morning. Gabe couldn't help it. He punched Teddy pretty hard in the face. It was the only way to get Teddy out of the picture. He didn't like the idea of Teddy raping Claire, as much as he knew that Claire was a handful to deal with, raping was out of the question.
Gabe chuckled when she asked he was insane. "That man was going to rape you and you're asking me if I'm insane for punching him?" Gabe asked incredulously, watching her with amusement. He knew that Teddy didn't like that and he made his way out of the alleyway and on home. Gabe sighed softly as she leaned on a light post. "I can if he was about to rape you when you won't remember in the morning." Gabe added as he walked over to her.
"See? Bed to him means sex. Bed for you means sleeping." Gabe said as he picked her up effortlessly in a bridalstyle and started to walk home. "Just tell me when you need to puke and I'll stop walking for you." There was no way in hell Gabe would apparate to her house. So it was up for a fifteen minute walk to her house then. He sighed softly as he looked up briefly towards the night sky and the beautiful stars gleaming overhead.

Claire didn't want to hear it. Nor did she care at this point in time. His scoop was effortless and surprisingly welcomed. She frowned a bit as he said that he commented on the puke. Still it wasn't long before her head sank into his chest and the solid sound of her breathing gave it away that she was completely and utterly out.
When he got home and the maid opened the door she looked rather concerned. but it changed when he explained what happened. She sighed a bit and led him into her room. Her room was extremely nice. It had the smell of Lavender and rain already. The maid smiled a bit and nodded a bit. "I'll take care of it from here.." she said softly.
With that she changed her clothes into her nighty and left. The next morning Claire sat up and smiled a bit to herself. She had at least made it home. She sighed greatly as bits and parts came back She knew that Gabe had to play some part in her getting home. Slowly she made her way out of bed and down the stairs towards the kitchen. She was in a silky blue nightly that hugged her figure well. She sat down slowly for some tea and a biscuit. She looked up to see Gabe walking in. She looked down at her plate and then back up. 'Morning..." she said slowly. "I-I just want to say thank you...for last night." she said slowly.
She sighed a little bit took a long sip of tea. "I have some errands to run today, so grab some breakfast." she said slowly. She was going to give him an easy day, it wouldn't change her for long though, she would be back to her old self and try to give him the slip sooner or later.

Gabe knew that she didn't want to hear it. He looked down at her as she tilted her head at him and passed out. Gabe sighed softly as he continued to walk up the hill back to her mansion. He hummed softly to himself. Sure that would look odd, a man carrying a passed out woman back to a house. But hey, he wasn't going to leave his client on the ground in town. He rolled his eyes and finally made it to the front door of her house. He knocked on the door three times, while making sure Claire didn't fall out of his arms.
"What happened?" She asked, staring at Claire. Gabe shook his head. "She drank a bit too much I'm afraid. So I brought her back here before she drank more than necessary." Gabe explained easily, not bringing in the details of Teddy and him about to rape Claire. He nodded as the maid showed him her room. He set her down and made his way to his room. His manly man room.
He sighed as he got ready for bed and went to sleep. In the morning, he slept in a bit. He heard some rustling from the room across from him and he sighed, getting up and walking down the stairs to see Claire sitting at the table eating a biscuit and drinking tea. He blinked over at her, before scratching his toned stomach. Right. He was shirtless and wearing pajama pants. That's how he slept. "Morning. Don't mention it. It's my job to protect you." Gabe said as he opened the fridge to look inside.
He nodded as he grabbed two eggs from the fridge and closed the fridge and grabbed a pan. Turning the pan on, he also cracked both eggs and watched them cook. He also took a slice of bread and put it into the toaster. "Sure. I'm making breakfast now. Want some?" Gabe asked, holding the pan in his right hand as he lowered the temperature with his left, looking over his shoulder towards her.

Claire looked at him for a moment. She took him in and then turned back to her own breakfast. He was a good looking man there was no question about that. He was in shape and seemed to be well rounded. She looked up when he asked if she wanted any and smiled a little bit. "No I'm fine. Thanks any way though" she said with a nod. She opened her book and started to read the chapter that she was on while she sipped her still steaming tea.
Claire didn't usually drink like that but she felt she needed to escape sometimes. With arguing with her parents to the flashes of the bulbs in the camera. Claire really did just want to hide away sometimes she really did wish that her parents would have just let her go out on her own and just figure out the world by herself. But no instead they stuck her with some man that was going to protect her from harm? All well...
Claire finished up her breakfast and then slowly stood up showing off those long slender legs of hers along with the well figuredness of her own body. She turned off towards her own room and slowly got ready for the day. When she came back down she was in a nice little dress. It was blue with a white sash around the waist area. Her hair was pinned up in a very unique, yet beautiful style. Her heals, of course matched her dress, as well as her little hand bag and white gloves that she wore over her small slender hands. She was putting on her red lipstick that made her already full lips stand out even more.
She walked outside and winced at the sudden beam of light and put her dark sunglasses on as she made her way towards the limo. The ride was a bit long, but down town wasn't extremely close. She had a meeting to attend to. The meeting was mostly with producers and what not and even though she hated it she promised her parents she would be there for a photo opportunity. She turned towards Gabe when she got a moment. It was time for her to sneak away from all the flashes again. She slowly slipped out the back and leaned against the wall with a heavy sigh. Her mask off now. That fake smile gone. But when Gabe stepped out side her mask was back on. "Shall we do lunch?" She asked in a soft sweet voice.
