Clocks timed in unison.
A short haired blonde woman, a slicked back dark haired man, a long haired ginger, and a short asian guy.
What to those four have in common?
Well for one thing, they are all detectives and protectors of all mankind. Humans, non-Humans, Wizards, and non-Wizards. They all have different personalities which made them have to work harder as a team. Clementine, the blonde woman, adjusted her sapphire blue halter top dress that went down to her feet. The other guys wore tuxes.
“I hate wearing this. When do ya think this shin-dig will be over?” Eugene, the slicked hair guy complained, as he adjusted his tie around his neck. “Around midnight or so. That’ll give us five or so hours to make sure no one that looks suspicious is entering this party.” The ginger, named Filipp said smoothly. Filipp was definitely the gentlemen of the group. He had the charm, and the looks that made the girls swoon. “Hn. I will not dance with a bimbo-bubbleheaded teenaged girl.” The short asian commented, giving a glare towards the ginger. Filipp sighed. “Vince, you don’t have to dance with a girl, just look out for intruders by the windows. Clementine, Gene and I will make sure that Alessandra is well protected for.” Filipp explained, looking over the short asian guy.
Their wrist-watches chimed in unison. “Ready?” Clementine grinned, looking over at the three guys. They sighed. “Ready as I’ll evah be.” Gene commented, his accent clearly a Brooklyn one. Clementine knocked on the door to the mansion, and the doors swung open to reveal a proper lady. She gasped. “Oh! You’re them. Please come in. Alessandra is already at the ballroom. Everyone’s there already. Please make yourself at home.” The mother said with a smile, gesturing the group to the lift that would bring them to the upstairs ballroom. It was a gorgeous ballroom, complete with spiral staircase, and wide windows, and even a balcony or two. Clementine smiled as the group broke off, Filipp and Eugene going to chat-up the young teenaged girls at the party, while Vincent scoped out the exits as well as the windows and balconys. Now to find the girl.
Clementine looked around to spot a short brunette girl, who was only the age of thirteen. “Alessandra.” Clementine said with a smile, spotting her. The girl wore an absolutely gorgeous cream colored dress with brown laces overlaying it. Her hair was down in curls and she was breathtaking for a thirteen year old.
Alessandra looked over at the woman with a smile. Clementine wasn’t that tall, only about five foot six inches, but she guessed that is tall for a girl. “Hi. I’m your protector of sorts.” Clementine said with a smile. Alessandra beamed. “I know. It’s because I’m an heir to my parent’s company, right?” She asked with vivaciousness that made Clementine smile back. “Exactly. Just be close enough so that I can keep an eye on you. I know that boy there wants to dance with you.” Clementine said with a smile, pointing to a boy around her age with raven black hair. Alessandra blushed and skipped her way over to the boy promptly asking him to dance with her.
She leaned against a small tall table where three high stools were placed around it. Clementine giggled as she took a sip of her champagne that she had received from a waiter walking around. This night will be splendid, really.
