Tammy Bethany Salister grabbed her purse and searched through it. “DAMN” she shouted and then shook her head and looked back at Daniel, “I mean ... darn” she corrected herself as she looked at her eleven year old nephew. He and his sister, who was thirteen, had recently been entrusted to Tammy. Their mother had passed away and their father was in jail and Tammy had been the only one they could have gone to. She loved the kids but she really wasn't cut out to be a mother. She was a business woman and had little to no time to do house-hold work. She could barely cook and she had a hard time getting the kids to school in the morning when she herself had to get to work. She had sent out applications to nanny places but as of yet none of them had responded. It seemed that her nieces recently slightly bad attitude was turning the nanny's off of the job.
“I do know swear words Tam” Daniel said as he watched Tammy bustling about and trying to find her keys. Tammy shot a look back at Daniel and rolled her eyes.
“Doesn't mean you should say them,” she said sharply as she searched under the cushions of her couch, “SARAH SCHOOL NOW!” she shouted up the stairs, trying to get the attention of her niece who was likely still talking on her phone. As Tammy turned over the last cushion she finally found her keys. “AHA!” she shouted happily as she snatched them up and shook them above her head.
“Lost your keys again Aunt T” the little brunette girl asked as she walked down the stairs with her phone in her hands and her eyes on it. She was messaging a friend or something of the sort. Tammy narrowed her eyes at the girl for a moment and rolled her eyes.
“I'm late for work,” she said sharply, “let's get goi-” she was interrupted by a loud knock at the door. Tammy shook her head and grabbed her purse, throwing her keys into it. She threw the door open and looked at the man standing on the other side. She raised an eyebrow at him and crossed her arms over her chest. “What do you want?” she asked as she eyed him.

Joey Longo lost everything.
His apartment. His job. His wife. Correction, ex-wife. And in about 10 days. His expensive car.
He only has the clothes in a suitcase in the trunk of his car, and his money in the bank account. Aside from that. He has nothing.
He sighed as he walked up to the door and knocked. He remembered yesterday. He wasn't too happy. He went to George Bennett's sister-in-law's office and demanded to her that he should know what George Bennett did with his money. At the moment, he's m.i.a out of the jail, and no one knew where he went. Some say, he's hiding in Bogota...or was it Bolivia? Joe didn't remember. He yelled Bolivia at that woman, Tammy, yesterday.
Joe's smile turned into a frown when she opened the door and asked what did he want. He looked down at his stack of papers, mostly resumes for work, since he was out of a job and then back up at her with a smile again. "Relax, it's a happy visit today." He said, before adding, "May I?" Without her answer, he stepped inside her nice roomy home. "So I researched your budgeting at your business yesterday, and with the funding in the bank and if you hire me, we can get a higher salary for everyone, give them better benefits, and pie for everyone." Joe said, putting down the stack of papers. He saw the look on her face. "Joseph Longo is not a lunatic." Joseph Longo was the head of the commodities division in George Bennett's business. "Yes. I ran the commodities division, made him legitimate millions, until that bastard pissed away!" Joe's voice turned into anger at that thought. He then stopped and smiled brilliantly at Tammy. "Sorry, happy visit. So, do you think I can get a job?" He asked with a smile, hoping, maybe at Tammy's business, he would get a job.

Tammy listened to the man speak with her eyebrow raised. She brushed a stray hair from her face and looked at him as he spoke. She sighed and shook her head. "No," she said as she slung her purse over her shoulder, "I'm sorry my business has a hiring freeze right now ... I can't help you. The only position I need to fill is the one as my nanny" she said with a laugh as she walked over to the door and looked at her watch. Tammy cursed lightly and opened the door. "And now I'm going to be late for work because I have to drop the kids off at school" she said in a bit of a huff as she picked up her cellphone and called for her niece and nephew who seemed to have disappeared. She sighed and turned back to Joseph with a frown on her face as she brushed her hair back once again.
"I really have to go now," she said swiftly, "once I find a nanny she'll be able to take the kids and I wont have to be late for work" she said as she collected the last of her things and frowned. "DANIEL SARAH SCHOOL!" she shouted as she walked over to the door and pushed it all the way open. She shook her head at the mess on the porch, there were all the newspapers she'd not gotten around to picking up sitting out there. She sighed one more time and watched as her niece came back down the stairs typing away at her phone and her nephew came out of the kitchen with his bag over his shoulder.
[sorry ... very short ... it will get better I promise! XD]

He watched when she said that the business has a hiring freeze. Damn. He frowned at that but then perked up when she said about a nanny. Hmmm. Well he is a neat-freak enough to do so...He walked over to the paper by the door, and snorted, reading the salary. "Is this your highest amount?" He asked, looking over at her. Even though it included live in and cooking. Most of which that he would be cooking himself. And Joe Longo was an amazing cook of course.
He blinked. "She? It has to be a woman? Only vaginal English have to apply?" He asked, looking up from the ad that she was putting out to the nanny agencies. He looked over to see the boy, Daniel, and the elder girl, Sarah. He smirked. "Hey. How about I take them to school so you won't be late for your meeting?" He asked, as he picked up his keys from his pocket and smiled, jingling them. "So...whaddya say?" He asked with a smile.
(It's alright if its short. xD)

Tammy frowned at Joseph when he mentioned the wage and then the fact that she had mentioned the nanny being a female. She shook her head and then looked at him and his keys. She really did need to get to work. She frowned deeper and looked at his keys again. "If you get in a car crash I'll kill you" she barked at him as she pushed the kids out the door and then grabbed his elbow before he could quite get out the door. "Straight to the school ... no other stops" she said firmly as she let go of him and pushed him out the door then herself went out.
Her meeting went all right, by normal standards, and she got back to the house with her best friend and assistant at her side. "Rose you know I can't stand ..." she trailed off as she opened the door and walked in to see Joseph in her house folding clothes. "What ... are you doing here?" she asked as she crossed her arms and looked at the guy firmly.
"Is that the cute guy from your office the other day?" Rose asked as she looked at the guy. Tammy looked at her and furrowed her brows slightly.
"No ... I mean yes ..." she said as she looked back at Joseph and cleared her throat, waiting for an answer from him.

Joe nodded with a grin. "Don't worry about me!" he called over his shoulder, as he left with the kids. "Ack." He got pulled back. He looked at her oddly. "Of course straight to school." He nodded, as he then left with the kids. "Hey, I'm Joe. I guess I'm your nanny." He said with a smirk, as Daniel looked at the car. "Thats my porsche." Daniel's eyebrows rose surprised. "Woah." Daniel said impressed, Sarah looked nunplussed. "Yeah...For ten more days." Joe said with a frown, Daniel smiled "Cool." And off they went to their school. The kids directed him to the school.
"Hey Joe?" "Yeah man?" Joe asked, not taking his eyes off of the road. "I...kinda forgot my book report...do you think we can go back to the house to get it?" He asked sheepishly, as they pulled up to the school and Sarah gratefully hopped out of the car. Joe shrugged. "Don't see why not." He said, as he looked out to Sarah. "I'll pick you up at four!" He called to Sarah who nodded and went into the junior high building.
On the way back home, Daniel then added, "Actually, I didn't do it." Joe looked at him when he parked the car in the street. "What?" He barked, making Daniel looked shamefaced. "Then when we get inside, you're going to march to your room and do your book report, and don't come out until you finished it." Joe said sternly, looking at Daniel, who nodded slowly.
A few hours flew by, and it was a bit afternoon, and Joe had finally got the clothes out of the dryer and started to fold them in the living room. He picked up a lacy thong of...Tammy's, and stared at it for a few seconds before starting to fold them. He blinked hearing the door open and seeing her talking to her assistant, Rose. "What do you mean what am I doing here? I'm folding clothes." Joe said, in a matter-of-fact tone, before taking out a t-shirt of Daniel's and folding it.
Joe smiled at Rose. "Hi, I'm Joe, the Nanny." He said with a grin as he went back to folding. Daniel appeared at the top of the stairs. "Hey Joe. I'm almost done with my book report." Daniel said with a smile. Joe grinned back at Daniel. "Good job kid. When you're done, you'll get lunch." He said with a nod, before going back to folding laundry.

Tammy stood and gaped at Joe for a few moments before leading Rose into the house and slamming the door behind her. She walked over to Joe when Daniel came down the stairs. She looked at the boy and then when he had disappeared again she shot her look over at Joe. "WHAT," she nearly shouted in his ear, "is he doing home? It's still school!" she said firmly as she looked down at the clothes he was folding. Suddenly her face went bright red and she pulled a few things out of the basket. She looked at a few of the bright red and rather lacy things and her eyes widened as she tried to hide them behind her back. Rose laughed and walked over and grabbed one from her hand and examined it.
"Very nice choice Tam" she said with a slight chuckle. Tammy grabbed the bra back and hid it again with her face bright red as she turned on Joe.
"You washed my delicates!" she said indignantly as she brushed her hair back and then put her hands behind her back again in a huff. She gritted her teeth and glared at Joe as she began riffling through the rest of the laundry for any other embarrassing things that may have been lingering in there. She grabbed up a few more articles of rather personal clothing before looking back at Joe. "Daniel's home ... why?" she said, meaning to shake her fist at him but only shaking a fist full of lacy undergarments. She blushed again and put her hands behind her back.
(ugh, another short one : ( ... ugh ... sorry ... tiredness.)

Joe blinked. "I know." He said with a shrug, as he continued to fold more clothing outisde of the hamper then placing the folded laundry back into the hamper. He smirked at Rose when she said "cute". Heh. He knew that he was cute, of course.
Joe chuckled. "Hehe. Yeah." He shrugged. "No one does laundry in this house. You all live like pigs." He added as he folded Sarah's shirt and placed it back in the laundry bin. He watched as she began to rifle through the side that he didn't fold yet to see if he had washed everything.
"So, I brought him to school, and he told me that he forgot his book report at home. So I dropped sarah off and we went back home. On the way home, he told me that he didn't do it. So I told him that he will go to his room and not come out until his book report is done." Joe said, as he watched her take her delicates out and tried to hide them. "That's uh. that's nannying right there." Joe added with a smirk.

Tammy glared at him and took a few deep breaths. "When a kid doesn't do their work you let them go to school and get yelled at! That's what the school is there for! You don't let them come home!!" she said as she shook her head and looked at him with an angry expression. All off a sudden two phones began to ring and both Rose and Tammy picked up there phones.
They both had a quick discussion, nearly the same one, and then hung up their phones. "Sarah got suspended for writing a poem about her principle comparing her name to ... something else" Tammy said in a huff. Rose shook her head and pointed to her own phone.
"I know," Rose said slowly, "the media got ahold of the story" the woman said and made Tammy grimace. Tammy sighed and typed the date for the meeting with the principle into her phone.
"Joe... I need you to go pick up Sarah from school" she said firmly, "I've another meeting to prepare for" she said as she brushed her hair back again and nodded at him. Tammy turned to Rose and smiled lightly, "come on let's get something to eat from the kitchen" she said as she glared at Joe once again. Daniel came to the top of the stairs, saw Tammy and then hurried back into his room. Tammy sighed and lead Rose off into the kitchen.

Joe didn't look fazed at her yelling. "Well, I'm someone, I've never heard of that." He said with a shrug as he continued to fold laundry. He started to leave to put the clean laundry in everyone's rooms. Great. If he was a live-in nanny. Where hte hell will he be sleeping? He just realized that. It was a three bedroom house, not a four bedroom. He shrugged and came back downstairs seeing them on the phone.
He blinked. "Sure." He got out his keys and started to head to the door. He blinked, hearing Tammy talk about getting something to eat. "Hope you like the spread!" He called as he left the house. Joe was nice. He made them a smorsgasboard of tuna salad, chicken salad, and egg salad, with a plate of lettuce and tomato, as well as bread just waiting to be toasted. Oh yes. Joe was a good guy. Definitely a good guy.
He drove his way to school, and parked in the parking lot. He hopped out of the car and looked at his watch. Only one thirty. Really. These kids need to just stay in school, even though no matter what happened in their lives. He walked in and smiled at the security guard. "Hi. I'm picking up Sarah Bennett." He said, the visitor pointed ot the piece of paper to sign, and handed him a visitor's pass and pointed to where the principal's office was.
He walked down, and ignored the looks of the middle school women teachers who gaped. Yeah. He knew he was good looking. "Hey. Munchkin. Let's go." Joe said as he saw her sitting outside the principal's office, her backpack in hand, and a unemotional look on her face. The principal, Mrs. Lunt wasn't too happy. "Tomorrow is the meeting at 3 to talk about her being suspended. I'm sure Miss. Salister will be there?" Mrs. Lunt asked, as Joe nodded. "Good." Mrs. Lunt then went into her room.
Joe looked down at Sarah and sighed. "Come on, let's go home." He said, walking down the hallway, with her silently following. The drive home was silent, with Joe trying to get Sarah to talk, but it seemed like she was giving him the cold shoulder. Joy. He parked the car in the street and went inside, bringing her into the kitchen to see Daniel sitting at the table, eating an egg salad sandwich, as well as Tammy and Rose sitting at the table too.
"Munchkin's home." Joe announced as he went to the counter to make himself a sandwich. Sarah glared at Joe as she sat down at the table. "I'm not a munckin. I'm thirteen." She said, not happy that she was just treated like a kid.

Tammy went into the kitchen with Rose and smiled lightly at all the food on the table. Rose smirked and walked over, making herself a tuna salad. "You've got a good man in the house" Rose said with a smirk at Tammy. Tammy rolled her eyes and made herself a sandwich with tuna salad and some tomato.
"He's just the nann-" she cut herself off as she took a bite of the sandwich, "mmm" she said as she took another bite. Rose just smirked wider at Tammy and Tammy rolled her eyes. She was about to take another bite when Daniel came down the stairs. She looked up at the boy with an eyebrow raised. She had the best guilt-trip look when she wanted to. "You really shouldn't take advantage of Joe like you did" Tammy said as she looked scoldingly at Daniel. The boy smiled awkwardly at his aunt and held up some papers.
"I finished the paper" he said as he handed the paper over to Tammy. Tammy read it, with Rose leaning over her shoulder, Tammy sighed as she got to the last page. It was really rather well done. Tammy shook her head shortly and looked at Daniel, she nodded at a chair that he could sit in. Daniel smiled and sat down, making himself a sandwich.
Suddenly Joe walked into the room with a very sour looking Sarah. Tammy looked over at the girl as she snapped at Joe and Tammy couldn't help but smirk a little bit. When she was Tammy's age she'd have already done a lot worse ... Tammy quickly wiped the smile from her face and put her half finished sandwich down so she could go and talk to Sarah. "You got suspended Sarah" she said firmly as she looked at the girl.
"Mrs. Lunt deserved it! She's a fascist pig!" Sarah said with a loud offended tone. Tammy shook her head and sighed.
"Grab a sandwich and go to your room," Tammy said firmly, "we are going to see the principle at three". Sarah made a sandwich in a huff and hurried off to her room. Tammy sighed and sat back down in her chair. Rose looked at Tammy for a moment, about to say something, when her phone rand again. Rose picked up and began talking in a rushed tone.
"I'm off to talk with the press ... sorry Tam" she said quickly as she rushed off.
"But we were going to go to the ba-" Rose cut her off.
"Tomorrow, you'll need it more then anyways!" Rose shouted quickly.

Joe looked at the paper before looking at Daniel. "You finished it?" He asked, looking at Daniel, who nodded. "Yeah, I mean, I know she'll dock points tomorrow from my report because I handed it in late, but at least I have finished it now." Daniel added with a smile as he ate his sandwhich.
Joe listened as he put his bread into the toaster, waiting for the bread to be toasted. He turned around as he leaned against the counter, his arms crossed infront of himself when Tammy disciplined her neice. Joe snorted when she said that she's a fascist pig, making Sarah and Tammy look at him oddly.
Joe smirked and waved his hand in a "nevermind" way. "Tough break." Joe commented as he grabbed a plate and placed a tomato or two on the plate. He watched as Rose apologized and had to leave. During this time, Daniel went back up to his room quietly. Then, it was silent in the kitchen.
DING!
Except for the toaster. Joe turned around to take the bread out of the toaster and made himself a chicken salad sandwich, and also started to put the egg salad, the rest of the chicken salad, and tuna salad into their own tubberware, as well as the sliced tomato and lettuce into its own tubberware, and placed them into the fridge. He grabbed his plate and went to sit at the kitchen table with Tammy.
Around three o'clock and after Joe had vacuumed the house, he was wiping down the dining room table when Tammy came rushing in. He raised a brow. "What happened?" He asked, wondering what was going on. He looked at his watch and then realized that it was time for Sarah to go back to school to talk to the teacher.

Tammy had gone up to Sarah's room to get the girl for her meeting with the principal. Sarah was not in her room. Tammy immediately began to panic. Tammy rushed down stairs to see Joe wiping down the tables in the living room. "I'm supposed to go to the meeting with the principle and I can't find Sarah!" she explained as she looked at her watch and nearly began stomping her feet in frustration. She grabbed up her purse and ran to the door. "She has a couple of favorite hang out spots, I'll go check those" she said as she glanced back at Joe and frowned lightly. "If she comes back here ... well ... yeah" she said nearly frantically. She ran from the house and hopped into her car, driving off rather more quickly then she should have.
Tammy had checked the arcade, mall and a couple of other spots but she did not find the girl. Tammy was over fifteen minuets late for her meeting and she decided to go and take the whole brunt of Sarah's issues. She couldn't do much else. She drove slowly to the school and when she finally got there she sat for a few moments in her car. Finally she sighed and walked into the school, locking her car as she walked. She got to the office to find the principle standing in the door waiting for you.
"Hello Mrs. Lunt" Tammy said with a sigh.
"You're late" the principle said firmly as she glared at Tammy. Tammy just nodded and sighed. "And you are aware of what Sarah has done?" she said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Look she's young she does stupid stuff, when I was her age ... not that I am trying to excuse her, what she did was wrong but ..." she trailed off.
"Where is Sarah?" Mrs. Lunt said with an eyebrow raised.
"I .... couldn't quite find her" Tammy said as she blushed.
"Perhaps we should reschedule this for tomorrow at four ... do you think you could manage to find her by then?"
"I have a meeting at four but maybe at ... " Mrs. Lunt cut her off.
"Parenting doesn't fit into nice little schedules ... I think you need to focus less on money making and more on the children" Mrs Lunt said with a frown.

Joe sighed as Tammy came downstairs, freaking out about where Sarah could be. He shrugged. "Who knows?" He asked, looking over at her. He watched as she left the house, going ot the places that Sarah could be.
Blip Bloop.
Joe turned around to see a laptop on a coffee table. He blinked as he went and sat down at the laptop and read Sarah's status. "is ditching meeting with Emperor Lunt! Hiding on roof" Joe smirked. "I can work with this type of girl." He muttered to himself as he got up and went to Sarah's room, and climbed out onto the rooftop where she sat in her pajamas, on her phone, texting. He looked around. "Wow. Is this were you go for you adolescent type of brooding?" He asked, looking over at Sarah who looked away from him. "You come up here to turn me in?" Sarah asked, turning her head to look at him.
Joe shrugged as he strolled over to her. "Not really my style, aren't you supposed to be at a meeting with Mrs Lunt right now?" Joe asked as he sat down next to her. "Why should I? Crap goes on at the school all the time, and everyone's scared to talk about it. I'm sick of it." Sarah ranted. He sighed. "Well, there is one person who is down at your office, eating your big bowl of stink, and that's your aunt Tammy who never gave up on you." He said, looking at her. Sarah looked at him oddly. "Big bowl of stink? What is that?" Joe smirked. "You'll know when you've eaten one."
Sarah sighed. "Let's go." Joe smirked, as he got up and held a hand out to her. Sarah went into the house first, with Joe following after. About ten minutes later, and Sarah changed into completely different outfit, she was in the office. "She's doing a great job. I'm sorry I'm late. And I'm sorry about the other day with the poem. And I'm sorry about hte stuff that I said. I was mad, but not really at you." Sarah paused to look behind her at Tammy. "But there's no need to blame my aunt. She's been getting enough of that from me. I mean, at least she's trying. Okay. Whatever, let's just get to the stink eating part?" She asked, as she followed Principal Lunt and Tammy into the office.
Meanwhile, Joe drove back to the house and started to shoot some hoops with Daniel as they waited for the girls to get back from the meeting.
