Acting was also part of Gabe's work w hen he was younger going through college. Sure, he was actually out of college in two years. By the time he was nineteen, he was out and about on missions, occasionally sleeping at home with his parents when he wasnt out there. He tended to stay with them til he was 23 and had enough money to get them their retirement settlement in the States. They were overjoyed and since then, Gabe lived alone when he wasn't on missions. Aside from that, he was with his client. It was fun. He liked his missions. He knew that she wasnt the type to like the motel, but hey, they needed a place. The guy didn't care or wanted to know why they were getting two roomed suites. Maybe the guy thought that they're bringing their friend to a hotel first before going home.
There was a hospital around this motel. About six blocks if they continued to walk past this motel. He noddded. "Yes. I'm sure she'll be happy to see you again." He rubbed her hand gently. "Darling, you know that she's fine, you worrywart." He teased her gently with a smile, towards her. Anna was a great actress. And he knew that they were going to work together to get away from these Death Eaters. He felt as though they were being watched, and not just this man who was handing him his key.
The man blinked at Anna. "Thats nice." He drawled, really not caring. When did he get off his shift? In the next few hours ugh. Gabe rolled his eyes when Anna patted his chest. "I'm here for her emotional support." He said with a smirk towards Anna, before squeezing her hand gently. The man chuckled. "Aren't we men all there for that?" The man asked rhetorically with a grin.
He almost jumped when Anna leaned her head on his shoulder. Gabe looked over his shoulder gently, as if he was looking around at the motel and noticed the man at the counter eyeing them warily. The elevator dinged and they walked in. He waited til the elevator doors closed and he leaned against the wall, closing his momentary green eyes. "Seventh floor." he replied. "Also, don't change the hair yet. We're going to eat after we drop off our bags." He added as he felt his miniture bag in his pocket, just waiting to be dropped off on his bed in his room.
[Lol thanks. Thats why I went the Motel route instead of camping out. So they have to use disguises and make up silly backstories. xD]

Even Anna had to admit, they worked well together. If she saw them, she would find them convincing enough to be a real couple. Then again, she didn't have that much experience in being part of a couple. But she was pulling things from muggle movies she liked. Breakfast at Tiffany's, We're Not Married, Love in the Afternoon, older movies like that. They had couples in them that were clearly good examples of what couples should do whilst in public.
Anna didn't like the fact that the guy simply disreguarded her remark. She huffed. She wasn't used to that sort of treatment. People usually hung on her every word, having someone act like she'd barely spoken was a little bit irritating. She decided that she couldn't wait until this whole thing was over. She couldn't wait to have people waiting on her again, worshiping the ground she walked on once more. It didn't matter if it was all fake. It was still better than being treated like a normal person, that was for damn sure.
She was relieved when they got into the elevator and out of the view of prying eyes. "Seventh floor." she repeated under her breath. She pouted when he told her that she couldn't change her hair back. That wasn't what she wanted to hear, but she nodded. "I hate this hair." she sighed, tucking some of the curls behind her ear. "I'm sleek, dark, and sexy hair. Not boppy, peppy, cheerleader hair." she muttered, rolling her eyes as the elevator ascended to the seventh floor. When it stopped, she stopped out and looked over at him. "What room?" she asked, looking up and down the hallway. This was no manor. She wrinkled her nose in distaste. She couldn't help it. She was the type of girl that stayed in manors and summer homes, not crummy motels.

He knew those movies. After all, his mother was a to-be-actress, having acting gigs on the theatre stage when he was a kid, she tried to get her former glory by putting him through acting school. Gabe was happy to be an only child. But at the same time, he had no idea why his mother wanted him to become an actor. But then when he got his letter to Hogwarts, as expected, his mother was even more overjoyed and wanted him to become an Auror. But that never really happened.
Gabe knew that Anna felt insulted that no one was hanging on her every word or getting her things just because she asked them to. He chuckled at her misfortune. But she had to remember that this man doesn't know who she is. He thought that she was Elaine, and he was Mr. Michaels. That was it. They were a couple spending the night before heading to the hospital to see their friend Sandra. That was their story, so it was normal that the man didn't need to hear or want to hear their story. To him, they were strangers spending the night.
He nodded. "Yeah. Seventh floor." He chuckled at her pouting face. It was cute. He had to admit. "You'll get your sleek sexy hair back after dinner. I dont like being this light brown either, but we have to still keep up the disguise to get something to eat." He said as they heard the elevator ding and walked out onto the hallway. He turned right to walk down that hallway. "You're the one that changed it to blonde." Gabe added with a shrug. He looked over at her. "Seven-two-one." Gabe added as he found himself infront of the room. He slid the key into the slot and turned the knob and opened the door to the suite to show a common room with two couches and a television, with two rooms, and a bathroom off of the common room. "Here we are. For tonight that is." Gabe said with a shrug as he went to the room on the right and opened the door and took out his small bag from his pocket, and englarged it with his wand and threw his bag to the bed.
He walked out of the room and made it back into the common room. "Are you ready to go eat?" Gabe asked as he ran his fingers through his light brown hair before looking arond the suite. It was fine. Actually on the better side of motels. He patted his backside gently, and thank goodness his wallet was there. He slid his wand back up his sleeve and sat on the couch, waiting for Anna.

Annasophia had to admit that the room wasn't really that bad. It wasn't as good and high end as she was used to, but it still wasn't horrible. It was clean, and quaint, and the furniture looked comfortable enough, even if it wasn't made by a famous artist. More likely purchased at the nearest furniture department store. She bit her lip and ran her fingers through her hair again. "I changed it to blonde because you said disguise. Anybody who knows Annasophia Whitmore knows she would never go blonde by choice. My closest friend could see me and not think it's me...Well, I suppose friend is a broad term, but you get the point." she said with a shrug.
She didn't have many friends. Just minions. People who served her, followed her closely and mimicked her, and tried their hardest to be her. Friend wasn't the right word to describe any of them, not even for a second. Because she knew that not a single one of them would put their lives on the line for her like this complete stranger was doing. But she didn't care, because she knew that she wouldn't do that for them either. She was selfish. And she wasn't ashamed of that.
When Gabe asked if she was ready to go eat, she looked down at her outfit. "Yeah. But wait, what's your name? I mean, your 'name?' I'm Elaine, but who are you? I don't want to slip and call you Gabe in front of the wrong people." she said, nodding. "But yes, let's go eat. I'm starved...honey." she added with a chuckle, shaking her head.

It was a nice room. No smoking. Didn't smell bad. It was cleaned everyday. Gabe is also a bit picky with his hotels as well. But this wasn't even a hotel. It was a motel. But motels are just the same as hotels but a lot less money. He looked over at her as she told him about her blondeness and how she never goes blonde willingly. Gabe shrugged. "I guess I don't know you well then." He said with a smirk.
He blinked looked over at her. "Don't you ever wanted to have friends? To have people who liked you for you and not because of your father's status?" Gabe asked curiously. He was surprised to think that she didn't have friends, just people who worshipped her and thought of her as a minion. He did like to think that she was a nice girl way deep deep down underneath her icy exterior. But then again, without her father paying him to be her bodyguard, he wouldn't be here talking with her.
He blinked before shrugging. "You can call me Mark." Yes, he booked the room under Mark Michaels. God. He wasn't that great with coming up with names. He chuckled. "Just in public we use fake names. Pretty much in each town we're in, new identity." He added as they left their suite and down the hall to the elevator. He pressed the button and the doors opened instantly and he made his way inside, holding a hand out to her. To hold her hand of course. "I know that this place isn't what you're used to. But they do have very good tasting food." He added with a smile towards Anna.

When he asked Anna about friends, she smirked and shrugged. "Unnecessary emotional attachments. I don't really need friends. People do like me. Well, maybe not me, but they provide me with the entertainment and amusement I need until I get bored with them. Then I ignore them and replace them within a matter of days." she shrugged. It was a selfish, somewhat heartless way of looking at things, but people were expendable to her. She didn't like to get attached to people. Her mother deserted her as a child and now she was paying for the stupid wench being a muggle, so what good had that attachment done for her? Her father also hadn't exactly been a good role model in the emotion department either, marrying and divorcing many women since her mother left. The only person she loved was him, and she was planning on keeping it that way.
"Well then, Mark. Let's go eat." she said with a nod. When he mentioned that it wasn't something she would be used to, she sighed in agony. She wanted to eat at a five-star restaurant with gourmet meals and wine and expensive table cloths. It looked like her living style was going to have to change for the time being, and she was not happy about that. She took his hand as she said. "I don't think I'm going to like this trip very much, am I?" she asked as they stepped into the elevator, pouting once more. The elevator began going down and she watched as the number above the door decreased every few seconds.
Finally, they were in the lobby and she smiled affectionately at him. "Lead the way, dear." she said, feeling the man behind the counter's eyes on them again.
[I'm trying to decide if I want the hotel guy to be a bad guy, or just curious, ha.]

He blinked. "Well you do love your dad. That I can see. So you can make friendships that last." Gabe added as he looked over at her. He was an only child, and yet even though his job kept him from staying in touch with his friends from Hogwarts, he did have friends. He was Uncle Gabe to his friend's children. Yup. Most of his friends were married and had children already. For him, he had no wife. No girlfriend. Well, he did have a girlfriend, but thats another story for another time. "If you stayed with a person for more than a few days, you'll find other things about them that'll excite you or make you amused and happy." Gabe replied easily back. Well, becoming a Psychology and Biology double major with a minor in Sociology made him pretty insightful to people's comments and can interpret to what they said.
He chuckled. "We shall." He said with a goodnatured smile towards her. He shook his head. "Probably not. But I will keep you safe from harms way." He said with a smile towards her. The elevator dinged and they stepped outside. He smiled as he took her hand gently and squeezed it as they walked out of the motel to the diner next door. "I know this is hard for you to be in a new situation like this. But we all either will have to do or have done things that we didn't like." Gabe said softly into her ear as they walked down the street and he pulled the door open and let her go inside first. "Table for two?" The hostess asked with a smile.
Gabe nodded. "Yes Please." He said with a smile as they were then ushered to a small booth in the back, next to a wall of windows overlooking the busy street outside. The diner looked like a 50's diner with a woman who wore a poodle skirt and roller skates and they played only 50's music. It was called Ellen's Stardust Diner. And it was pretty popular with the "commoner" crowd. "So, tell me more about you." He said as he opened his menu to look at his choices for dinner that night.
(I think the man should just be curious. cuz i made him just a bored guy who was checking people in. xD)

"I know this is hard for you to be in a new situation like this. But we all either will have to do or have done things that we didn't like."
His breath on her ear was warm and comforting, as strange as that was to think. She liked how he seemed to care. It seemed like it wasn't just a paycheck for him, even though she knew it was. She was used to people pretending to give a damn, so this was no different. But either way, it still felt nice to have someone act like they cared about you. If she pretended hard enough, she could make herself believe that people actually did. Not that she usually bothered, but sometimes it was necessary to feel...human.
When they got to the diner, she was surprised at herself for not being nearly as disappointed as she thought she was going to be. It was actually kind of cute. From the waitress in the poodle skirt, to the 1950's music pouring out of the speakers. She smiled slightly, looking around as they were lead to a booth. She picked up her menu, her eyes roaming for the first thing that sounded the least bit gourmet, and when he instructed her to tell him about herself she shrugged.
"You probably know the basics. My dad's been the minister since I was a little girl, my mother left when I was even younger and she was a muggle which is why these damned people are after me. I-" she stopped suddenly. "Haven't had a bacon cheeseburger in at least three years." she whispered, spying the item on the menu. Her stomach growled. "And french fries in...five." she added.
Since puberty, she'd been watching her figure carefully, avoiding fat and sugars whenever possible. "Mmm..." she said quietly, her hand covering her stomach as it growled again.
"But um, anyways." she said, shaking her head and putting the menu down. "Something you've probably gathered is that I'm not very good with emotionally attachments. I don't have real friends, or any real boyfriends, because...well, frankly I find them unnecessary." she shrugged, glancing at the menu again to avoid eye contact.
[Yeah, that's what I was thinking, haha.]

He smirked seeing that she was shifting a bit. He knew that she liked his breath on her ear. Of course. It was human to like comfort. And human comfort, but touching, hugging, kissing. Ecetera. Sure, he gets a paycheck from her father to keep her from harm's way, but he does care for the girl. He cares and protects for whoever he's protecting. He has that big of a heart.
He smiled seeing her small smile. He'll take it. He didn't care that it wasn't a full out grin. Gabe wasn't sure if Anna could give him a big grin, but seeing a small smile made Gabe knew that she wasn't an icy hearted queen. He chuckled. "Cute place, right?" He asked, almost voicing her thoughts. He loved the place ever since he stumbled upon it once upon a time. Gabe just liked the place and that it had the best cheeseburgers here in all of the land.
He nodded. "Well about you." He then blinked when she talked about a bacon cheeseburger and fries. He smirked. He knew what to order when the waitress comes over. "Well I know htat." Gabe said, waving a hand slightly as t hough he was waving those comments away. "I mean about you. What's your favorite color? Favorite food? Book? You as a person. Your likes and dislikes. Something that no one knows about you." Gabe insisted. He did want to get to know her, but at the same time, can use her information to make sure she won't pout and mutter when they're on the run again.
Gabe's eyebrows shot up when she said no friends or no boyfriend. "None? At all?" He asked but knew why due to their earlier conversation. He smirked as he leaned back in his seat. "Okay. Now its your turn to ask away." He said with a smile, his fake green eyes watching her. Before she could say something, the waitress came by and asked for their orders. "We'll have two bacon cheeseburgers and french fries please. And a chocolate milkshake." Gabe added with a smile. The waitress nodded and walked away.

When he started rattling off questions, Anna was a bit confused. Nobody had ever really asked her things like that before. Of course she knew the answers, but she wasn't used to saying them out loud. She shrugged, trying to make it seem like it wasn't a big deal. "My favorite color is dark purple. My favorite food is...well, it used to be cheeseburgers, but I don't really really eat fatty stuff anymore. Caesar salad is good." she nodded. "As far as likes and dislikes go...I like warm weather, big beds, reading...I don't like camping, or dirt, or being dirty. I don't like it when people expect things from me. I like people who...who do this." she added, gesturing. "Who actually try to get to know me." she shrugged. "But I don't like dogs, birds, fish, or onions. They all stink. And I hate spiders." she nodded. "Be aware that that is one of the things you will be protecting me from. Spiders. Of all shapes and sizes."
Anna had been afraid of spiders since she was a little girl. She'd been locked in a shed accidentally while trying to "help" one of the gardeners. She was in there for nearly three hours and when someone finally found her, and she'd had four spiders in her hair, and another had bitten her shoulder, causing a large red mark that hurt and itched. Since that day, anytime a spider came near her, she panicked beyond being responsive. It was irrational fear, but to her, any and all spiders were menaces of the devil.
He seemed surprised that she had no real boyfriends, and she shrugged. "Nope. I mean, there have been plenty of offers, mostly just blokes trying to get to my father in order to get ahead in their careers, but I don't like being attached to people. They just...leave you." she shrugged, tucking her hair behind her ear.
When the waitress approached, asking what they wanted, she'd been about to speak, but he beat her to it, ordering her a bacon cheeseburger and then a milkshake for the both of them. Her stomach growled and she smiled slightly at him. "Thanks. That will definitely hit the spot."
She thought about what she wanted to know about him, and one thing came to mind. "The bullet wounds. What's the story behind those?" she asked.

Gabe genuinely wanted to know about her. He liked becoming friends with his clients. It made him feel happy on the inside. He looked over at her and nodded as he watched her talk about her likes and dislikes. He smiled as he played with the napkin as she talked about her favorite color, food, likes dislikes. Spiders. Got it. He'll remember that. He had his mother who hated spiders with a passion and would get him or his father to kill it. Easy. .
He chuckled as she told him to remember htat. "I'll definitely remember that." He said with a smile before ordering for the themselves. He was surprised that she had no boyfriend. She was pretty and smart. And a bit bratty but to look underneath that, she would be a nice girl to be dating. He sighed, knowing that feeling. He had a girlfriend once. But that fell through once she found out that he was a bodyguard and would be leaving her many times out of the year. And sometime's not go home at all for the year because he would be spending time with his clients. He blinked at her when she thanked him. Gabe smiled. "No problem. I knew that you wanted that. We'll share the milkshare. It's chocolate." Gabe added with a smile towards her. He did wanted to be on her good side.
Plus if she worked well with him to get the Death Eaters out of their hair, then he'll let her meet Avery. Avery liked meeting people and always whined when Gabe told him to not call or owl people while they were in hiding in Italy. He blinked when she asked about his bullet wounds. He chuckled.
"Well, let's start with how many I have and where they are. I have five. One on my right shoulder, but I have a tattoo covering that scar. I have two in my left abdomin. One in my right butt cheek, and one behind my left ear." Gabe said with a smile.
"The first one I ever got was when I was nineteen, that was the one on my shoulder. I was the bodyguard for the French Minister of Magic's young son who was 5, and he had some mafia people after the kid for ransom money. And I got shot in my shoulder. Sometimes I have a gun on me just because of t hat." He said softly. "The next time was that I was a bodyguard to a model from Japan. And they wanted her to go into the sex trade in Japan and I got one behind my left ear. I was twenty two at that time. I was working in the middle of my twenty-third year. Nearing twenty four to twenty five I was with Avery Hamilson. He owed me the right butt cheek. I was teaching him how to shoot with a gun....He missed the actual target and got my buttock." He chuckled with the thought.
"Avery thought I was hott." He smirked at that comment. "And the last two happened when I was twenty eight when I was working for the President's daughters in the States." He bit his tongue and nodded. "Someone who was racist wanted to take out President Obama's daughters. And of course I protected them." Gabe sighed. He needed to invest in a bullet-proof vest.

Annasophia was happy to know that he was going to be killing any spiders she came across. She just hoped that she didn't come across any in the shower, because when that happened, her maid was usually around to kill it. Anna had never not had a female companion around in situations like those. She would just have to hope and pray that it didn't happen.
When he mentioned the chocolate milkshake, she literally felt her mouth water in anticipation. It had been years since she'd had a milkshake as well. There'd been so much pressure trying to be tiny that she'd pretty much given up anything that had more than just a little sugar in it. And chocolate shakes were loaded with sugar, and the cream used to make it was pretty fattening, so she'd avoided ice cream for years. But she wasn't sure how long she was going to be with Gabe, so she supposed that it was okay to cheat on her diet for a little while. She would just have to make sure to bring it all back in as soon as her life returned back to normal. She wondered when that was going to be, and she sighed, already missing it.
Five bullet wounds? Anna was surprised he wasn't dead. She listened to the location of all of the bullet wounds and she sincerely wondered how he'd lived this long. And selfishly, she wondered if she was really as safe as everyone thought with him. She gasped when he told her about the five year old. How horrible it was that people could endanger a child like that. When he told her about Avery shooting him in the buttock, she had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing. Avery Hamilton wasn't one she'd ever think would hold a gun, and obviously she should have been correct.
"Wow." she said when he was finished. "My life is like a bloody picnic compared to yours." she said with a nod. "Clearly, you need to buy one of those special vests."

He wondered as well what were to happen if a spider was in her shower. But he wasn't going to think about that right now. He was here, actually talking to this pretty young woman, about things, and life, and more importantly his life and his past. He looked over at her and smiled.
He too loved chocolate milkshakes. All creamy, and with milk in it, and ice cream. Delicious. And they make it to the right consistency here. Not to thick, not to creamy. Just the perfect amount to drink the milkshake. Gabe wondered how long it has been since Anna had those kinds of foods. He never really understood why women put themselves through such torture to not eat the foods that they want, just so guys would like them because they're skinny. Sure, guys like skinny girls, but guys don't like skin and bones, nor do they like 500 pound women. Guys like boobs and ass, and curves. And soft hair, and soft skin. Thats what guys like.
And Gabe is a guy, so he does know.
Gabe too was surprised he wasn't dead. But those were when he was dealing with muggle and wizarding types of mafia men. With Anna's situation, he was only dealing with wizarding types. And they had no vest for dodging hexes. He hated it when they tried to get the 5 year old boy for ransom. There were people in this world who was not nice. After all, if the world was really nice, Gabe wouldn't be here as a bodyguard. He smirked when he noticed her trying not to laugh about Avery Hamilton.
Well, he wanted to teach Avery how to defend himself. And that guy couldn't throw a punch for his life, so Gabe offered the next best thing: a gun. Sure, Avery was great with a wand, but he also wanted to get into the muggle business of fashion, and he had to protect himself with a gun as well. The one in his buttock didn't hurt at all. It stung, but the one behind his ear was the worst one. Of course, it was near his head. Gabe chuckled. "Well, I have had a lot of different experiences. But they were all very interesting. I should buy one of those bullet-proof vests. Just never got around to it." Gabe shrugged with a smile towards her. The waitress bustled back. "Here you are dears." The waitress smiled at the two, handing them one big glass of chocolate milk and two empty glasses to pour into them. She also had the burgers and fries and handed the couple their orders before bustling off. Gabe picked his up, opened the bun and opened the ketchup bottle and poured a bit onto his burger before pouring more ketchup onto his fries, and then started to eat his burger.

"Well, perhaps you should get around to it. Or it might be too late one day." Anna said with a shrug. She would hate to figure out that he was shot somewhere vital before getting a vest.
A few seconds later, the waitress came up to them, putting their food and milkshake in front of them. "Wow." she said, eyeing the burger which was much larger than she thought it was going to be. She had no idea how she was possibly going to fit that all into her stomach, especially with the fries. And on top of that, the burger looked ridiculously messy. She didn't eat messy food like this, ever. Grease stains didn't go with her clothes. She grabbed her fork and knife and cut a section, putting it into her mouth.
"Mmmm..." she said, her eyes closing as she chewed slowly. She was done with Caesar salads, and celery sticks, and garden burgers. From now on, it was bacon cheeseburger and fries. No ketchup. She stuck a fry in her mouth, 'mmm'ing again. "This is delicious. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing it is." she smiled.
She poured some of the milkshake into a glass and sipped some, 'mmm'ing for a third time. She sighed in delight. "It's been so long since I've had food like this." she smiled. "You keep feeding me like this, though, and you're going to have a whole lot more of me to protect." she said, puffing her cheeks out.
